He was pretty sure he wouldn't come to the park anymore. Ikait had had his fill of fun. "Fun"...The shadow examined the shop one last time.

Another round of this? Yes, it seemed like that was on the list of things to do today--not that he really had one to begin with, but it was a nice thought regardless.
Imuiel knew there were two more blessings waiting for him in that gift shop farther in, and he had decided that he would go ahead and get them out of there as soon as possible, so as to avoid having to come here again. It wasn't that this place was terrible or anything of the sort--he simply found it frustrating, particularly the act of actually getting to the blessings in the first place.
Without much further ado, he rounded on the roller coaster, trying a few things to get the cart moving much like last time. He just had to hope it wasn't going to end with him flung out of the car again.

Well, he should've been expecting that.
Giving a slightly exasperated sigh, Imuiel tried again, this time willing the cars not to stay still. It had worked when he'd done something similar on his first encounter with this place, so why not try it again?

Whatever he'd done, it had worked--the cars jerked into life, and that same blasted hill almost got another scream out of him. Thankfully, Imuiel managed to stifle it, biting his tongue in order to choke it out.
And now, he was back at the swings. He'd had better luck getting across those, and he was going to see if he still did.

Why yes, he did, in fact. Imuiel made it up and over the swings with no real difficulties, though there were a few accidental knocks to his beak that left his head ringing.
Now, came the bane of his relatively short existence. Walking carefully.

That was a poor start. Imuiel shook his head, already muttering to himself about how this probably wasn't entirely worth it, but he was doing it anyway. After all, a blessing was a blessing, wasn't it?

This was going to take forever, he could already feel it. Kicking a bit of broken wood out of the way, Imuiel started reflecting on just why he seemed to have terrible luck with this leg of the quest.

Just a bit more, now. He could feel the blessings better and better with each step he took towards them, and Imuiel felt a bit better about his dirgelike quest now. He just had to outlast the creeping feeling of boredom--and avoid stepping anywhere that would break under him, of course. That was slightly less important.

Imuiel idly pondered the feasibility of jumping from place to place here. Given the fact that every step made the wood creak dangerously under his not-very-considerably weight, that was probably a bad idea. And yet...

It was about this time that he reached up and started tapping a faint rhythm on his mask, not entirely sure what else to do to pass the time while creeping from one solid area to another. He soon made a game of it, drumming out a short song and moving along with the beat of it. That soon resulted in him jumping away from a soft spot as it crumbled underneath him. Whoops.
That little jump was enough to put him right at the blessings, however, and Imuiel paused, drawing himself up to his full height and looking rather proud of himself--or at least, as proud as a masked, mostly featureless gray shadow could look, that is.
He took one of the glowing orbs gratefully, wondering not for the first time just how he was going to get out of here.
