Leo shook his head, "i am well master. Nix chose to come herself, it was not your fault." he smiled sweetly before glancing to where the others had gathered, all of them trying very hard to not look at him. he lowered his eyes and turned away, "we should go then." they knew, they knew and they would never look at him the same again. they knew how disgusting, how dirty he was. he didn't blame them for hating him, he hated himself. "have you eaten, master? you need to keep up your strength," he said softly as he walked back towards the forest.

Leo licked hsi lips, "i am not hungry, master." there was enough sunlight he could survive, but his stomach was twisted into knots. he couldn't even think of eating without feeling a little like he was going to throw up. they entered the forest and walked along the path without saying anything. Leo had his eyes on the ground, but he still could feel the forest embracing them and welcoming them back. he wondered idly if the master could feel it too, or if it was something only a native would be able to sense. they were about half way back before he stopped and knelt. he plucked two flowers from a bush and held on to the master. "here-it, it soothes the nerves." he had a feeling they both needed the flower's aid tonight. he took a leaf and chewed on it before smelling the flower, letting both parts of it settle him as much as it was able

Leo smiled a little, "it's got a slight sedative in it. pregnant woman use it for m morning sickness." he shrugged a little and slid his hand back into the master's. "When we get back we should check on Nix. they will have her in her room most likely, so we can just go up to the house. would you like to sleep when we get back, master or would you like to find something to read? we've visited the library but never got a chance to look around." they had been too focused on his mother. he smiled, but inside he felt like he'd been ripped apart and was bleeding. they thought bringing his father to her would bring her out, but how could one so lost save another? it was impossible. his parents may be breathing, but they were already gone. he could never have them back, and the teasing hope of their bodies still surviving made that fact even worse.

Leo nodded, "yes, very safe. you could eat the entire plant, roots, steam, flower and leafs and it wouldn't harm you. you would be extremely relaxed and most likely fall asleep, but that would be it." he shrugged, "though if you use it all the time it won't have as strong of an effect but that it the same for everything." he glanced around when they reached the city, but there weren't many people out and about. with the news of the trees being open once more and the many people who would be out communing, he hadn't expected to see many anyways. those out and about bowed to them slightly before moving on, seeing that Leo needed to have some time alone with his mate.

they reached the tree that housed his family and leo looked up, "i can't imagine-" he shook his head a little, "Nix has lived alone who entire life. i whine and complain about my life but it must have been so hard for her." he sighed and put his hand on the bark of the tree, silent for a long moment before shaking himself, "i'm sure the council took care of her. and Tsume too. forgive me, i seem to be in a downing mood tonight. i will try to be a little more uplifting, though, master." he smiled at the man before starting to climb up.

Leo smiled a little, "You are probably right. thank you." he kissed the man gently halfway up the stairs before heading the rest of the way up. "as i recall," he moved to a second set of stairs that lead upwards to a separate section of the house and nodded, "This was built when they learned of mother's pregnancy." he opened the door and inside, sleeping on a bed much too large for her, was Nix. everything was decorated in deep, rich colors and she stood out, the only light thing in the room. he smiled and moved to the edge of the bed, motioning for Elliot to sit as well as he watched over the sleeping girl.

"looks like they did as i asked, she has the feel of mind magic to her." he stroked back some of the snow white hair and sighed, "i'll have to be careful around her. she saw far too much. i had no idea-" but it was too late and had been taken care of.

Leo nodded, tears in his eyes, "yes. we are no longer alone. we have each other now." he swallowed back his tears before kissing Nix's forehead and standing up. his hand moved to take Elliot's and he silently lead the other out of the room and down to the main room. he turned and hugged the man, "i'm sorry i have kept them away from you for so long. we'll head back soon, i promise." he didn't think about what he was saying, that he was going to leave again, but he knew he would stay with his master. "would you like to go to the library or head to bed?"

Leo smiled, "as you like, master." he lead the other up to his bedroom, which was the only other room available. he didn't dare go near the set of stairs that lead to his parent's room. the bed was large, big enough for the both of them with extra room and he moved to turn down the blankets before undressing. he was only left in his underclothes, but that didn't bother him. "where would you like me to sleep master?" his instincts screamed for him to sleep at the foot of the bed, it was safer, but he ached to be held.
