Β°o.OβΒ€ πris Β€βO.oΒ° Ξ΅ΡΠ· The Tennessee Walking Horse Ξ΅ΡΠ· "I came today because Violet sent me a letter saying Tennessee kept getting in trouble," Iris said as she lifted her head to give Dog a very careful nuzzle. She had learned over time how to greet the turtle without knocking him over which was quite a feat considering the differences in their size and strength. "Violet said he is too danger prone for her to handle alone. So I ran over lickety-split!"Although Iris' definition of "lickety-split" was generally much different from other horses considering her tendency walk leisurely and smell the roses no matter what the circumstance. Tennessee had never gotten over how she spent much of the Battle of Shiloh during the Civil War wanting to pick flowers or fretting over something as meaningless as someone tearing their pants on the battlefield. She was a sweet heart for sure, but Iris was no war pony and didn't even like running fast.< >

George "Christian" JonesGeorgia, U.S.A.Freshman I said where I come from It's cornbread and chicken Where I come from a lotta front porch sittin' Where I come from tryin' to make a livin' And workin' hard to get to heaven Where I come from Georgia gave another soft chuckle. Iris sure was funny in her ways. Then again, maybe she was just motherly and it came off as being a little funny just because she was a horse playing mom to a state. Anyone playing mom to a state was funny to begin with, but it got more so when it involved animals, despite how common it probably was.
Although, he was a little concerned that the pig had written to Iris... Scratched that-- very concerned... There was just something not right with that and he couldn't place his finger as to where exactly in that statement he felt the most discomfort.
Still, he'd play along. "Aww, she doesn't have any faith that his big brother and sister can't keep him out of harm's way? I mean, yeah, there's been a few incidents, but you know Andrew. Give him a whack and he'll give a swing back, and twice as hard at that." Which was true. Hell, there were times even Georgia knew when to step back and give the normally neutral state some space. There aren't too many rules when you come here. Mind your P's an' Q's. Be polite to all ya meet. Take pride in where you're from. Tea is always sweet. And it's Coca-Cola, not Pepsi!

Β°o.OβΒ€ πris Β€βO.oΒ° Ξ΅ΡΠ· The Tennessee Walking Horse Ξ΅ΡΠ· "He does tend to get into scuffles," Iris said diplomatically as she understated Andrew's tendency to find his way into circumstances where he did need to take swings at others despite not being a very confrontational person. It was amazing how he continuously wondered into those sorts of situations. Sometimes the horse wished Tennessee did have the discipline to be a soldier like many of the other members of the South, but the Volunteer State never had much of an interest in legitimate warfare training beyond "shoot until they're dead."
The horse happened to notice Georgia's bags and perked up a bit at the opportunity to be useful. Since farming had become ruled by big machines and cars took her place as a primary method of transportation there had been little practical use for the mare. Even though she got her kicks out of being a show horse and parading around there was still a part of Iris that longed for the days when she had been more important and helpful beyond companionship. "Do you need someone to carry your bags, Mr. George Christian?" she asked enthusiastically. "I'm good at carrying! I can give you a lift. Do you want a lift? I might not be very fast, but I have a smooth walk I'm told. I'm the best at walking!"< >

The poor horse probably longed for the days where she was the first choice in transportation or even doing some sort of work. Hell, he knew a few of the states' horses that were the same way. He gently rubbed her muzzle before smiling brightly. "Well, I suppose it would be nice to take a break from rucking it. I walked all the way from the airport to here, so I am a bit beat."
He stood up and picked up the duffle bag. Brat finally stood and jumped off of the bag, knowing full well that she would not find riding on top of the horse after riding that jet to be fun.
Georgia looked up as he lifted his bag and sighed with a soft chuckle. "Morning already? Well, hopefully the teachers won't mind. Still, I should probably ask the principal for permission for the day off. Whatdoya say, Iris? Care for a quick pit stop at the school before headed to the dorm?" He carefully lifted the duffle bag up and placed it on her back before making sure it was balanced in a way so that it wouldn't fall as she walked. He then picked up Dog, who curled into his shell slightly more from being tired than fear of the blond dropping him.
Little did he know, headed to Principal Vargas's office right now probably wouldn't be too good of an idea since his siblings had caused some trouble... Β°o.OβΒ€ πris Β€βO.oΒ° Ξ΅ΡΠ· The Tennessee Walking Horse Ξ΅ΡΠ· Iris was so pleased to be of use her dark brown eyes practically sparkled with pride. She held perfectly still while the state and his pets loaded up for the journey back to school. When she heard that he wanted to go to the office the mare seemed even more excited. "Oh! Yes, I know that place. I went there yesterday when I was looking for Tennessee," the mare said cheerfully as if a horse barging into a school office made perfect sense to her. "I can take you there right away!"< >

If only he could have been there t see the initial reactions. Oh well! They really should hurry and get to the office, though, so he let the horse lead the way as he walked beside her, toting his turtle under one arm and his bobcat on his head. ~Slovakia~Zlata Augustine Lietchinsk 11th Grade Zlata eventually decided to go to the park, it was empty today so she could do what she liked. With a smile she sat on a bench, closing her eyes, just enjoying the familiar cool air brushing across her face. It reminded the slovak of home. Rummaging in her pockets she drew out a small notebook; Zlata's diary. With a smile she brought out a pencil, flipped to the back pages, found a clean page, and began to doodle. North Carolina, USA Charlotte C. "Jones" Freshman Charlotte felt a bit alone and went to the park where the breeze was nice and the sun shine with loving warmth peaking through the glowing leaves of trees. She really didn't know what to make of Andrew's new realtionship. Better yet, what to do with herself. There was still plenty of time for her to prepare for tomorrow event but wished and had signed up for another club of some sort. She already said she would join a basketball club and was in the garden club with Lili... Lili... It had been quite some time since she lost saw her friend or even the club. There had been no word of the Liechtenstein girl which wasn't good given with the odd activity that had been going on around the school. All her thoughts were dispersed thanks to tune of "The Devil went to Georgia" that came from her pocket. Grabbing her cell and opening the message from Christian, she saw it was a party invite. If wasn't okayed by Landon yet then she should probably wait till it's official before deciding to go. Though, knowing the Californian it would be a likely "sure". I wonder if Ruitilo would be there... she thought. No sooner as it crossed her mind did her face blush and was punching a tree. "GAH! There's no way I could possibly be thinking about that Floridan Idiot!"(Out of Cheerwine and Pepsi: )

Hungary sighed softly as she checked her text messages for any word from Austria. It was frustrating being in different classes when all she wanted was to spend time with her beloved. The brunet woman frowned darkly recalling Prussia's sudden appearance. He had better go visit poor Ludwig or Lili soon or else. Honestly, he should be ashamed for making them worry!
... But in reality the one who was most worried had probably been her. Prussia was so stupid...
Elizaveta looked up in surprise when she heard someone punching a tree. Wasn't that one of America's states?
"Are you ok?" she asked with a light chuckle.

~Slovakia~Zlata Augustine Lietchinsk 11th Grade Zlata glanced upwards at the sound of a familiar voices but was quick to hide behind her book upon seeing hungary, her teeth gritting slightly. The two neighbouring countries had always conflicted, whetehr it be in big ways or small ways- they simply just didn't get along. Forcing her temper to quell, Zlata focused all of her attention on the book she was reading, only hoping that if she stayed quiet enough, she wouldn't be noticed. Slovak>>>English

North Carolina, USA Charlotte C. "Jones" Freshman The Tarheel state stopped and quickly turned to face to the one that called out. It was another girl with brown hair with a flower to the side and green eyes. Charlotte hadn't seen her before, did that mean she was a country? "Oh ah yeah. I was picturing a certain idiot and took out my frustration on this poor tree." She looked to the tree with an apologetic look feeling bad she took it out on a defenseless thing. "I really don't know what came over me." she laughed nervously. "I don't believe we've ever met before. Are you a senior?" She reached out her hand in a greeting. "I'm the state of North Carolina or you could call me Charlotte." she smiled politely. (Out of Cheerwine and Pepsi: )

Elizaveta chuckled softly as the young state's situation reminded her of her own situation with Prussia. "A childhood friend or crush?" she asked playfully as she extended her own hand. "My name is Elizaveta but you may have heard of me under the name Hungary." Or so she assumed. One could never be certain with America's states. They seemed to range between worldly and flat out ignorant of other cultures.

North Carolina, USA Charlotte C. "Jones" Freshman "Hell no!" she immediately said with a hint of blush. Again she felt bad for suddenly forgetting her manners and that yelling was quite rude. "Um sorry, no. You see he was once my twin and brother's enemy for years before he was eventually adopted into the American family. They still don't quite get a long but every now and then and he really like to show off and gah! Sometimes I just feel like wanting to strangle him or use him as target practice for him and his-" she froze biting her lip as to stop herself from going into a long rant about her realtionship. Charlotte grasped the girl's hand and gave a nice firm shake. "It's nice to meet you Miss Elizaveta." she smiled. "Hungary?" she restated trying to remember where she heard that name. "I remember a Austria-Hungary back during the world war." she admitted not realizing that they were two countries not one. "Uh random question, do you know of any clubs that need members or assistance?"(Out of Cheerwine and Pepsi: )

Hungary had all she could do not to laugh at North Carolina's outburst. She had a feeling that, despite the girl's denial, she had hit the nail on the head. Although she couldn't be sure which one of her assumptions had been the correct guess or not. The continuing rant only made her smile more. She could sympathize a bit with this girl's feelings.
"Ah, yes... That was when I was married to Mr. Austria," Elizaveta said with a tiny smile as she shook the younger girl's hand. "We were husband and wife until Russia split us after the war, but that is a long story for another time." She paused as she listened to the girl's question before her face brightened happily.
"The newspaper could always use more members," she said happily. "I am the photographer for it and we finally got someone to help us with interviews and gathering information, but it's still far from a full staff."
