"... Riley split in half to form two Rileys?" Lizzy had her derpy moments; this (whole) prom was one of them. Rubbing her forehead, she took out her eyephone, set it to camera and held her her bangs as she stared at herself on the screen. Frowning, she quickly covered up the red spot again with her bangs, "I hope this doesn't leave a mark..."
Completely her own fault though.
"Where's Tess?" She tilted her head, looking around before her gaze landed back on Mac; since she had been 'knocked out', she did not see the ghoul leave.

"My best guess...is two mindflayers." Mac shrugged. "Though I wouldn't be surprised if she could split in two." If that was the case, they were doomed forever. Especially him. The world could only handle one Riley and there was the proof that there was at least one other who was more brute strength than cunning. Well, if you go by appearance anyway. "I'm sure it'll go away soon, ours did." His face was turned as though he were watching the dancers, but his eyes were turned towards the pretty ghoul at his side.
"Ah...Maritess." Mac hummed, and then sighed. "She left." He said simply, shoulders lifting in a helpless shrug.

"Two...? That would explain why one of them wasn't... Ah..." That would explain a lot actually; why one of them was less... Top heavy and topless, for example. Could the new mindflayer be Riley's friend then? She frowned, and for the first time in a while, looked around and realized that Christof was addressing... The table? No, the under table.
Curiosity getting the better of her, she used the tip of her boot to lift up the table cloth draped over the table, but once she saw who were under, she immediately released the table cloth.
She saw nothing despite her blush. Really!
"Tess left? But... But..." She frowned again, rubbing her forehead, "Why? Is she alright? I hope Esme wasn't giving her too much trouble... Ah... I was supposed to fill her in too..." She made a mental note to catch up with her friend soon, before the vacation starts. Although speaking of which...
"Oh! Charlie is staying at my place during vacation!" She nodded, "I uh, didn't want him to go home to a closet, and he seemed excited about staying over, so..."

Swaying was nice. Making slow, lazy circles along the floor with his ghoul in his arms and music floating around them. Really he could stayed that way for the remainder of the evening, but there was a small part of him that reminded him proms were also about socializing, and thus far the pair of them had been failing quite spectacularly at it. They should probably work towards fixing that. Probably. Soon. His cheek against the side of her head, the boil trailed fingers up and down the ghoul's back as they swayed, tracing the subtle dip of her spine from the nape of her neck to the small of her back. "We should probably visit a bit with our friends at some point tonight," he murmured against her hair. Dark eyes rolling up to look out through the room. He'd missed the tense waltz between Riley and another ilithid, missed quite a bit in the last few minutes in fact. Reluctantly he unfolded his arms from around her, sliding hands down her arms so he could catch her fingers. "Come on, let's go say hi." The smile he turned down to her was soft and held a tenderness that only ever touched his features when he was looking at her. "We can dance more later." He took a step towards the tables and gave her hand a little tug. He could have sworn he'd seen Riley at the table he lead his ghoulfriend towards, but she didn't seem to be there now. Nor did Jericho seem to be around anymore. The plague doctor was there, though, as was Lizzy, so he offered a wave to the group at large as they approached. His pace slowly slightly as he saw Christof speaking to the floor and Liz peeking under the table clothe and blushing. "Er, hey guys."

Tomoko followed Jove's lead up until he froze, looking at him with a sort of anxious look, then trying to follow his gaze to see who it was the boil had spotted. She couldn't tell. Her ears drooped a bit until she noticed somebody else across the way.
Ohae! She knew that familiar face! The kitsune had noticed one of the Cerberus brothers and waved at him, beckoning him over. However, it seemed somebody else was 'waving' back that wasn't Erebus. She looked at the Cerberus brother, pointed in the general direction of Cat with a tilt of her head, then beamed, practically dragging the ghost boil along with her to go say hello to the shadow-y feline.
"Jove-kun, is this a friend of yours?" she inquired, tilting her head at him, then looking at the feline with another curious tilt of the head, her tails flicking. "Maybe Erebus will come over and then we can all have introductions!" she beamed. She was going to make sure that boil had some friends, even if it required her dragging him around by the arm and playing wingkitsuneman.

Jove's mouth tightened as Cat wiggled his fingers in his direction, clearly an "I see you~" gesture that was intended to provoke the pup on some level. He would have turned away, and dragged Tomoko far away from the other ghost if he hadn't heard a familiar voice calling him. He couldn't turn away now that Astra had also seen him, that would just be un-gentlemanly! He waved with a slightly nervous wag to his tail, but his look turned horrified in an instant when Tomoko began to drag him over. This was bad... This was very, very bad! The little ghostling tried to hide his dismay, and stood up real straight like he wasn't nervous at all. He was sure Cat could SMELL fear. Then he gave Tomoko a noncommittal glance and accompanying ear tilt, as if casually saying "Eh, I've met him..."

"She did." Mac confirmed. "I don't know, she left before I could ask." Shrugging again, he slid down a little bit in his chair, pushing it back to avoid stretching his legs under the table. That would be bad for everyone involved. Everyone. But mostly him, really. While Lizzy prattled on he pushed both of his hands through his hair, still feeling rather uncomfortable without his hat; he should have found a way to make the hat work, Mot made his work!
"Another time, I guess." Lips drew into a hard line, and he turned to actually look at her. "Do you think she might have...?" Seen them? Mac was careful to keep his question quiet, between the two of them. "He is, is he?" That was nice for Charlie, but...
"Ah~" The appearance of the ghost boil and a couple others. Hello perfect distractions! "Hey man." Though he had no idea who these people were (which wasn't a far stretch, his memory for acquaintances sucked something fierce), it was still good to meet others. "Enjoying Prom?" He continued on, pointedly ignoring any and all things table related. Including sitting at one. His chair was pushed pretty far back, and his stretched legs barely even touched the cloth.

"You need to stop fidgeting with your hair," She giggled, pushing her own chair back a little before leaning over to take Mac's hand, pulling it down from his head before releasing him, "You're going to mess it up!" He looked particularly dashing tonight, yup. Hm, did she compliment him already...? Before she could fix that, however, Mac's question caused her to frown, although she quickly shook her head.
"I... Don't think so...? She would probably have said something to me if so, I think..." She lowered her voice; she didn't want Tess (or anyone else for that matter) to find out that incident from anyone but her; she promised the ghoul that she was going to fill her in, after all...
She then nodded, "Yes, he is! I thought I should tell you since you and Charlie are close and I wouldn't want you to worry about him." She smiled, stopping with the whole 'rubbing of her sore forehead' thing as some students approached the table.
"Oh! Seiji, Junko! Hello!" She smiled before turning her attention to Junko, eyeing her dress, taking in every detail. Her smile grew as she flashed a thumbs up at the ghoul, "You look especially gorgeous today! Your dress is perfect!" She knew that the ghoul had skill!

Hearing some of the others address some people, Shun glanced up to see two familiar faces coming up to the table. Junko he had spoken to sort of via groanspring. And he had seen her date in class. Aside from seeing them, he noticed that two others had seemingly disappeared. Eh. Whatever.
Relaxing in his seat, he turned his attention towards the others and gave a sort of half wave to the two.

She had waved at him.
Immediately, Erebus stood straight up, giving Tomoko a hesitant smile in return. Aaaaaaaaah, wait, he should be more friendly, right? They were, after all, kind of friends, and even if she had a date, it was always good to be polite in a ghoul's presence. Especially when it was a kitsune.
There were two voices battling within him on whether or not he should make his way over. Eventually, the more persuading one won and he shuffled towards the trio. "Hey Tomoko." He greeted, and than glanced at Jove.
And then Cat.
Jack damn it, he wouldn't be surprised if Tomoko was popular with the boils. Still, Erebus managed to grin at the two boils, even though it was slightly forced, and folded his arms across his chest. "Hi. I'm Erebus." He was a Cerberus brother! He had to keep up appearances!

Joachim wasn't really left a choice, as when he got close enough Taryn just took his hands and pulled him in. They remained outside of the main group, but they were close enough to seem involved as they continued their awkward dancing. Taryn had no idea what was right, and Abigail was again acting as tail rather than moving in her own sentient way. When Joachim was released, she went about dancing some more, hopping and moving to the music in ways she was unsure were ridiculous or not.

All the Dancing on the floor was really giving Damien a run for his pumpkin seeds. It was just a nonstop pulsating beat that the hound just dove into and finally emerged from the group, a bit winded and wobbly, But he had a smile on his face as he slumped over to the refreshment counter for something to quench his thirst.
He was still rather upset at himself for having no date to the event, there was only so much one could do at an event while going stag. Eat, Dance, rest, mingle, and repeat. But the winded hellhound could plainly see, this Prom was more of a couples thing.
Suddenly, he was starting to feel out of place again as he went off to find a table to rest at with his drink, sipping occasionally and watching all the people with their dates float on by. "Well, isn't this lovely?" was all that Demi could mumble to himself in disappointment, mostly to his own ineptitude.

At least they weren't in the middle of the dance floor Joachim thought as she pulled him in closer to the space that she was dancing. He didn't know what she meant by nothing able to dance well considering it looked as if she knew exactly what she was doing. He on the other hand did the first thing that came to his mind, some sort of jig. He was pretty sure that it looked just about as stupid as he felt however Merel gave a squeak of approval as she clung to the top of his head to keep herself from falling off.

Truthfully, Roch knew he should probably stop. It's just--well, there was one of his pals sitting all alone, looking bored out of his mind, and dogs liked to catch things, right? He glanced over at the pink haired girl he'd almost hit, silently shrugging an apology, then grabbed another meatball, tossing it and catching it once before slinging it straight at Demi. "Hey, Dawg! Catch!" he called. Clearly this was why most schools didn't invite freshmen to prom. Or they wouldn't, if Roch had been a freshman there.

It was a kind of mindless swaying that could pull one in for hours on end out on the dance floor. Just a constant swaying of bodied going back and forth, with nary a pelvic thrust to spice things up. Damien would have to admit, if you could ignore the loud music and the pulsating lights and bright colors, it was a soothing sight. at least until there was a wet plop on the side of his cheek before bouncing off and onto his plate that made the hound wake up from his nightdream. "What the-" he snarled out before looking down at the brown little sphere that wanted to say hi and looking ever so delicious when he picked it up and gave it a nibble. Well obviously it didn't come here on its own, it had help. as he peered over in the direction Demi assumed it came from and found the face of Roch staring back at him. But of course, he shouldn't have been surprised. Wherever there was food, Roch and/or Claire was not far from it. He walked over to the hunter with his new treat in his hand. "I caught it, got anymore for me to catch and nibble on?" he asked in mid chew.
