 The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn raised his head to glare defiantly at Ashriel. He sighed suddenly though, and lay back down. "Whatever." That one word was enough to say how bad he was feeling, that he wasn't arguing. He didn't feel like a pointless fight that he would end up losing any ways. It was hard to say who was more stubborn of the two sometimes.  The tiger that should be....isn't....

As Raevyn only said whatever, Ashriel found herself sitting down next to him again. Why? She wasn't sure. She hugged him lightly, her voice muttering something under her breath. "Iloveyou." It was obvious that she hadn't any intentions of him hearing it, at the level and speed she said it at. Of course, she'd forgotten about his good hearing, so it was possible he could have heard something - he just probably couldn't make out what it was.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn found himself laying with his head on Ashriel's lap again as she sat down. Half-drowsing as he rested, he flicked his ears at the sound of her voice. "You say something?" He asked in a murmur. He thought he'd heard her voice, though what she said he had no idea. The tiger that should be....isn't....

"No." She lied. Ash wasn't about to truly admit that she felt that way, not with everything that was happening. Slowly, she fell asleep again, as if revealing how little rest she herself had received in that alley.

"Alright then." Raevyn said, flicking his tail in a shrug. Maybe he was hearing things. He hadn't been entirely sure he'd heard her in the first place. He started to get up again when he realized Ashriel had fallen asleep again. "Sorry....." He whispered, feeling bad that she was resorted to sleeping in alleys because of him. He lay his head back down in her lap, closing his eyes. If he was going to stay until she woke up, he might as well relax too. His sharp ears stayed pricked though, listening for any threat. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel didn't wake up again until a while later when Jennalin happened to come across them on her way to Ash's apartment. "What are you doing?" Jennalin questioned, realizing that Ashriel was asleep. A lunch was waved back and forth in front of Ash's face, Ash waking up almost instantly.
"Wha? I'm awake." Ash muttered, before looking at Jennalin. "Err...hey Jen."

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn didn't move as Jennalin approached, recognizing her footsteps. At her question though, he flicked an ear. "Resting." He told her simply. Feeling Ashriel awaken though, he moved off of her, letting her get up if she wanted to. He didn't make a move to get up though, not wanting to put in the effort until he knew for sure they were going to start walking again. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Jennalin handed the food to Ashriel with a face that said she couldn't give it back. Her eyes looked at Raevyn now. "In the middle of the sidewalk? What the heck happened to you, anyway?" She questioned, seeing Raevyn's bandaging on his shoulder.
Ashriel actually began eating; she was too hungry to make a complaint. Her eyes were genuinely confused at this point: she wasn't sure what Jennalin and Raevyn were exactly talking about.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn flicked an ear dismissively. "I got into a bit of a scrap. Not a big deal." He said, making light of the situation. He and Ashriel were the same in that they didn't want other people to worry about them. "We were on our way home and decided to rest. I was trying to get Ashriel to school, but she was ignoring me." He said, tossing a glare at the girl. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel rolled her eyes at Raevyn. "I wasn't about to leave you all alone. Besides, your wounds aren't properly dressed." She spoke simply, shrugging. Her eyes looked up to Jennalin as she finished her food.
"Not a surprise there." Jennalin said simply in answer, looking at Raevyn. She could tell he was making light of it, making it seem like nothing.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn flicked his tail in a shrug instead of moving his shoulders. "I was and am perfectly fine." He told Ashriel stubbornly. He looked up at Jennalin suddenly. "What are you doing here anyways?" He asked as if just realizing she shouldn't be here. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel rolled her eyes. "Riiight." She said simply, looking at him. "Just like I'm always fine, right?" She appealed, grinning lightly at him now.
Jennalin wasn't startled in the least by Raevyn's question. "I was on my way to your apartment to see why you guys weren't at school. After all, I usually wait until I'm there to call." She stated, as if it were common sense. "And I just happened across you two." Okay, her brother had spotted them, admittedly. "Actually, Luke told me he saw Ash sleeping in an alley with a wild cat, and he knew how you guys get when you are injured and stuff, so he freaked and called me since he was worried 'bout Ash."

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn just rolled his eyes, not even responding to Ashriel. He was more interested in what Jen had to say. "Luke?" He asked with a small hiss, remembering the other cat. "Stupid meddling tom. Couldn't keep his muzzle out of other people's business." He growled as he muttered. "Like I would hurt Ashriel." Then he realized that he didn't know if he had or not. He could have done anything when he was in that state of mind. "I didn't, did I?" He asked Ashriel, turning to sniff her, looking for the scent of her blood. The tiger that should be....isn't....

Ashriel shook her head. "At first, you tried to. But you didn't." She told him simply, quietly. Jennalin's eyes widened at Ashriel's speech, stepping closer.
"What happened? Wait - Ash, you went UP to him when he was injured? Luke once accidentally broke my arm when he was hurt." Jennalin seemed extremely worried now.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Raevyn sighed, shaking his head. He was relieved and upset at the same time. "I thought you'd just moved closer once I fell asleep. I didn't realize you were stupid enough to actually approach me!" He exclaimed in surprise. "I though you would have realized what would happen from LAST time I was hurt....." He sounded troubled, worried. If she was crazy enough to approach him when he was blinded with pain, there was a chance - and not a small one either - that he would hurt her. And jsut thinking about hurting her made his heart clench in fear. The tiger that should be....isn't....
