"Thank you." she said numbly, still not understanding. When Seisuke took her hand, she looked to him with a smile, still not understanding exactly what was going on. "Are we going for a walk?" she asked softly, having never really held hands with anyone for more than a moment except for when walking.

She stared at him for a moment with wide eyes, slowly coming to understand what he was meaning. A small smile formed on her lips and she nodded her head, showing that she would listen to everything he had to say.

"You are a great friend and teacher. I feel very fond of you and I love you for the good times we have." she replied immediately and honestly, looking to him with a bright smile.

"I have few memories which are very pleasing." she said softly, looking to him with an apologetic smile, bobbing her head a bit. "Though, I suppose I never have spoken to you about Xander. The first Xander I knew, not the one I had named such here in the Syndicate.
I am confident you know very well that I was not well liked in my childhood. Xander was an exception to this. He simply had no desire to judge me the same as so many others had, he saw past my unusual appearance and uncommon manners. One summer, Master took me to his family home, though she needed to keep herself hidden much of the time. I would go to the forest, sometimes with him, sometimes on my own. One day, I came across a boy that was trying to hunt her.
Naturally, I would not stand for this. It is .. terrible to hunt dragons. When I found him, I questioned what he was doing and he was upset at first, challenging what he felt was my own ignorance about the monster before his eyes. She had been sleeping so I went to her, calling with my mind first to wake her. After he saw that we were truly friends, he emerged, confused and curious more to know about us.
I explained Dragon Riders to him .. he thought it was the most amazing story he had ever heard. Once the reality of the story was understood, he wanted to meet her other half. I guided him to town, brought him to the family house and they spoke. I listened to them both, such curiosity in a person I had never heard from anyone but myself.
After that night, we became great friends. When the other children and families who feared me would say the rude things, he would speak up to them, speak against their hate. When we grew tired of that routine, we began going out to the forest, adventuring to many places.
Once we came back with a deer that he had hunted. But because I had touched it, his family scolded him and would not accept the deer. That was the last time I saw him. He told me he would go out hunting again the next day and wanted me to sneak off with him there.
Very early that morning, I was told we must depart immediately, they were called to duty. As I was with them, I needed to go with. I asked his family to pass the message to Xander, which they did. However, not too many weeks after that, he was never heard from again. What happened to him was never clear though it is assumed he somehow perished, his pack and weapon were found near the river and there was no trace of his tracks."
When she finished, she looked to him with a small smile, wondering if this would be something he would have expected to hear.

A sad ending for a great and noble story i must say. Though i would have wished a different fate for your friend perhaps things would have been better to you than it has been now. *He finished his glass of wine in which one of the gentleman refilled it without even being told to. Seisuke promptly said thanks to said person before continuing*
I believe there's a moral to this memory and one i think you have learned that day the hard way. I still think more things in your life have affected you just like this event. Care to tell more, the dinner will take a while to be done and brought upon this table. *One of the gentleman heard this and brought some appetizers to the table breadsticks and prosciutto filled with colby cheese in a special blend of a sauce garnishing it for a mixture of colors*

"All of my fond memories of my youth turn to tragedy eventually." she said softly, smiling a bit. It was a burden to her to know this to be the truth of her life, but she carried it with grace and dignity.
"This holds true even now, here in the syndicate. You know this to be truth. The only way I am spared heartache and loss is if the other is to bear the heartache and loss. With that, I always feel guilt. It is my life, however. The only constant that has been good and true and not ended horribly is that with Father and Sister.
They have shared my burden in my youth, for which I am eternally grateful. Though I feel guilt and sorrow for they having needed to bear this with me, I am very proud of them. Without them .. I would be very different. Most likely, I would be dead by now or more akin to the way Yawgmoth is." she said softly, bobbing her head again. Finally she seemed to take notice of what was brought to the table. Smiling, she casually sampled some of what was there, cheerfully enjoying every bit of it.

Perhaps, perhaps not all roads would have a slight chance to ever be truly the same. I must say i doubt you would cross the same road as Yawg's. Hmmph more than often i pity him, not for what he was, is to what he has become. Irrational to all except ali and you and Fox. For all that is worth i think you are the only one who speaks to me in a not threating manner or rather in insulting one. But not to run stray to the point. They want you to feel for once what it is to be normal, normal not in a despective sense Normal more in that you act like a person of your age would have. You seem always so stiff, not lately i could remark but, you seem like theres always one factor you miss or let it pass to your mind unnoticed.

"I am unsure what you are trying to say. Though I wish to share with you that I have come to realize recently that Yawgmoth and I are like two sides of a coin. He always takes one path while I would take the other. It is as if our decisions are always opposite but at one point have been challenged with the same situations. I know this may be .. hard to accept as truth. But I guarantee that it is.
Comparing our histories .. our beginnings are very much the same. One key difference, he had no one and I had Master. They saved me from making very rash decisions on more than one occasion growing up. Yawgmoth had no one to keep him in check. If I had not had them, I likely would have gone the same path that he had, destroying everything around me." she said softly, looking to him with a calm expression. She was very interested in knowing his reaction to this comment.

Opposites it would seem its true. Again no path no desicion is ever the same from one being to another. It maybe similar and thats why you came to the conclusion that your two are like ying yang. Is this what you expected me to say? *he said with an arched brow*

"Not exactly, though I am very pleased to hear this from you. The way I see it, you and others like yourself, are both sides of the coin within your own selves. That any time something happens, you may go in either direction, even when faced with the same choices on a different day, you may decide differently." she said softly, smiling brightly and bobbing her head.

That's true but you are your own coin if you see it like that. You are seeing what would happen if you hadnt what you have in Yawg in which in turn make you curious to even be closer to him more often than not. *He said as the dinner came and he took his trusty fork and knife and sliced a piece of meat*

She thanked the people gratefully when they brought dinner, smiling brightly. Watching Seisuke dig in, she smiled brightly and casually took a bite of her own also, smiling brightly. "I have always felt like I am missing .. something or someone who should be in my life, that should have been with me all along. I know not what though."
