OOC: Cause Pietro isn't villain enough? j/k

Jamie ignored the feeling that it was a mistake to stay with the younger students, and that he should be back at the gym. He turned, and took the students inside the mansion, but once there, he hesitated. "Xavier? Where should I take them?" He yelled, and thought it as loud as he could. The mansion is too big for me to just find you. . .

Porter moved from the War Room when Jamie came into the mansion. He motioned for all of the student's to follow him. Leading them to the infirmary, he pulled Jamie aside at the door.

"Everybody needs to be checked out by the nurses here. Once that is complete, you are free to move about the building but DO NOT leave the Institute. We know that what happened is really scary for all of you. Xavier will address you all later this evening. Until then, please obey his wishes."

He then looked at Jamie, "Are you ready to be an X-Man tonight?"

"I haven't already?" Jamie quipped.

"You've done well," Porter took Jamie to the War Room where he saw that the kid was completely awestruck. Most student's never made it that far. Porter spoke to Jamie, "We know tha the Hounds have taken some of the students and plan on taking more. I am going to lead the rescue effort. The X-Men are already on one mission. We need the senior students to take on this mission with me. The first step is for you and I to get back to the school and recover what students we can. Most of the kids are out of that building. Are you up to this?"

"You sonofabitch!," Jacen growled as he watched Penance skidding back on her tail. He saw the small trails of blood on her arms that were vanishing within a few seconds. This beast was equipped for bore and close combat didn't seem like an option. Time for a new tactic.

Without a word, Jacen withdrew his blade and looked the beast dead in it's beady little eyes. They were without life....without a soul it seemed, driven by some insane lust to hunt down mutants. As hard as he could, he was trying to clear his mind from the psychic assault coming from the creature. It wasn't working quite as he planned, but he still felt no ill effects. Ok, that's not explainable...., he thought as he motioned to the beast to come and attack.

Again, with a wild look in his own eyes, Jacen motioned for the beast to attack, this time flipping it off in the process. "Come on, ********, let's throwdown," Jacen cursed (OOC: Clutch reference. Binge and Purge, baby!!) At that, the beast charged full tilt at Jacen.

As the beast neared, Jacen waited for two seconds. All the time he'd need. Then, with one deft motion, he whipped his tux coat off, draped it over the charging creature's head, and watched as it became entangled.
Without missing a beat, Jacen stepped to the flailing creature, leveled his hands, palms down, and fired a massive blast which sent chunks of wood flying in the air.

Blast after blast was rained down on the beast, with each successive blast angering the beast further. Jacen could tell he was angering it. If he wasn't, he knew he couldn't sustain this assault. The angrier the beast became, the more demented Jacen started to feel, but almost as soon as he'd get that crazy feeling in his mind, something would quash it. And this was happening in split-second intervals.

Needing to expend more energy, Jacen unleashed a huge torrent of energy at the ground. "********!!! STAY DOWN!!!," Jacen yelled as he pushed and expended as much energy as he could muster. Almost as soon as he started, he stopped and fell to his knees. He had expended way to much energy right there.

".........Evie.......," Jacen said quietly, "...Are...you ok? I.....I didn't mean to hog all the fun. Honest....." He was smiling for some odd reason. He felt tranquil, serene almost. Not for long though. As he sat there, there were numerous fights going on all around them. He couldn't tell which were Brotherhood, which were X-Men, and which were the enemy. His eyes were so glazed over, his vision was blurred.

Get up, a feminine voice said in the back of his mind. Rise to your feet and fight. And he did just that.

Still weakened, Jacen extended his hand to Evie who was still sitting on her backside. "Come on....," he said as he helped her to her feet, "I don't know if that thing's dead......and we both need to help our friends. Now."

"Damn, that one has your name written all over it," Penny ripped a peice of metal off an overturned table since her last weapon was left somewhere along the shadows. Sweat was pouring down her back and her face. Her dress was torn up already. This was insane, "Guess you're on the list too."

Jacen gave a slightly confused look, "List?"

Penny motioned back towards where Blair was taken, "When we went to try to rescue that one boy, the freak lizard that took him said we were on a list..."

As three hounds pounced down the floor towards Penny, Regina and Jacen... the pattern was quite clear. So much chaos had gone on that they didn't really notice that the hounds were really aiming for select people. And these three were some of them.

"Yea, seeing that now," Jacen put a fist into the jaw of one and a sword slash on another. Penny lept up using the hounds shoulders for a boost, coming down behind it slapped it hard with the metal pole.

"So what do we do?" Regina asked, "Fight to the death?"

Penny shrugged dodging a slash by one of the mute creatures. It kept pounding her with a psychic assult which she was doing her best to keep out, "Would be nice if Chuckie showed up to b***h slap these mothers... but doubt that's happening... looks like we fight for our lives."

"Oh, and Evie?" Regina asked her.

"Long story," Penny caught the hound off its step and knocked it back onto its a**. She flipped off her heals since they were plain distracting and threw each one at the hound, "And that is for ruining my prom."

He returned after safely dropping off some students. He could see those hounds everywere. "Man, I should bring some heavier stuff with me..." Remembering that construction equipment place he turned and sped towards it. They were slow, but they were hard to stop.

"What are you going to do, bite their kneecaps?" Penny then saw from acrossed the room Freya being whisked away by the hounds, "Goddamit, they got Freya... She's one of the best out there."

"Ignore it," Jacen said catching her a** while she was distracted. A hound made a pretty sound attack at Penny from behind and he deflected it. That was one of her weaknesses, as keen as Penny could be in battle, she oft was destracted.

Penny held her jaw after being handed a heavy fist into it. That was defenateily going to bruise. Not focusing on it too much, she swong her foot out and caught the hound in the center... and then, of course, because nothing could be better, the hound demonstrated why it was superior. A long blade of psychic energy poured out from its hand with a grand pink glow.

"Oh that's gonna hurt," Penny mumbled as it came up and hit her right through the midsection. It wasn't like a real knife, there was no blood spilt. The knife put a psychic shock through her body that she never felt before. It brought her down onto her knees and then a quick blow to her back laid Penny out. She was pretty sure that was her last hurrah for the evening.
