Since the incident in his and Miquote's dorm he's been overly cautious. He had heard about the incident of Akio and decided to head over to where it all happened. He had a suspicion and he wanted to get things off his mind.
"So this is where it all happened?...Poor girl... I feel sympathy for her.
Then again these mortals are weak anyway and should be more careful of there surroundings. These distractions of love and friendship are just another factor. I think mortals would be better off wandering around this world blind with nothing to worry about."
