Awright guys, here's the plan as far as mentors and apprentices.
Ghostkit will be waiting for Owltalon to return, Breezekit will go to Galestar as soon as Duskpaw is made a warrior, and Oakkit is going to go to Embergaze.
Warriors needing apprentices:
Featherfoot
Birdsong
Cometstream
Kits needing Mentors:
Dicekit
Softkit
Spadekit
I'll edit this as I figure out who needs mentoring. c:

Ah yes, forgot Cometstream. c: Do you want her to mentor Spadekit?
And don't forget Cometstream has to convince Galestar to let her stay. D| She'll prolly get her chance during the chapter after Fragile Peace. <3 ))

{ah, timber, we have just enough warriors and just enough kits needing apprenticeship! this should work out perfectly. I would like to have cometstream mentor spadekit, but if softkit wants cometstream as a mentor, i can change that. I mainly just REALLY want to get this done soon, seeing all these newbies becoming apprentices is killing me here.}

Let's see...Dicekit, Spadekit, Breezekit, Softkit, Ghostkit, and Oakkit need mentors! I suppose I could train Breezekit as soon as I make Duskpaw warrior...We have Featherfoot and Birdsong ready for apprentices, but Wavepelt's too newly introduced...and Cometstream is leaving... oh, Owltalon, did you have to leave at a time like this...?
Galestar shook his head, pushing the white warrior to the back of his mind.
Suddenly, he saw Embergaze, padding groggily back into camp. That's when it hit him.
Oakkit was waiting for Embergaze to become a warrior! he realized.
Galestar purred to himself, then walked back to under the Highbranch.]
He called out, "Embergaze, Oakkit, please step forward."
[Embergaze paused, slightly confused, then stumbled forward, a look of realization hitting him. Oakkit came skittering out of the nursery, and excited look on her face.]
Turning to Oakkit, Galestar said, "From this day forward, until she has earned her warrior name, this apprentice will be called Oakpaw."
Turning to Embergaze, Galestar said proudly, "Embergaze, you are ready for an apprentice. You will begin Oakpaw's training. You have shown calmness and determination. And you are now ready to be a mentor."
[Embergaze leaned forward, and Oakkit excitedly jumped, banging noses with the warrior. Embergaze snorted, and Oakkit frowned, dismayed. Galestar chuckled.]
"Oakpaw, you have been waiting quite a while to be Embergaze's apprentice. I hope you have a wonderful time training under his guidance."
[Galestar nodded to the two, and Embergaze stumbled off to the warrior's den, apparently to sleep. Galestar tilted his head. I wonder why he's so tired... he pondered.]

[Cometstream entered camp and greeted Spadekit and Dicekit, who purred in happiness. Halfway through their greeting, Galestar had pounced up onto the highbranch and chosen mentors for both Pepperkit and Saltkit. Cometstream frowned at this.] Do i have to claw it on his head for him to get the message? These kits need mentors...and my sign only makes waiting worse. [Cometstream looked down on the two shocked kits. Spadekit looked happy for the two cats, but sadness still shone in her eyes. A normal behavior, really. Cometstream cast her cold eyes on Dicekit. The sister's reaction was different. Dicekit had her eyes narrowed, twitching in jealous anger. Cometstream blinked, and tried to place her mind in Dicekit. Instantly, Cometstream felt an aurora of hostile sadness, and Dicekit's single thoughts pierced Cometstream like thorns.] There are too many kits in this camp, it's getting ridiculous! And we've waited too long for this! Spadekit's going to crumble sooner or later...she needs this. Heck, I need this! [Cometstream stiffened. She would need to tell Galestar the sign. fast.]
