I don't think I introduced myself. My name is Rae. I'm 18 and a college freshman. I've been RPing for about a year. I'm weird, loud, and exciting. I like music, reading and writing stories and poetry, dancing, and playing video games.

I may be weird, but it's probably only in this thread to be honest. I usually go for a more sophisticated air when I'm on here. I'd like to play the knowledgeable captain whose a cool guy to hang out with...but that would be asking too much. sweatdrop I'm mostly concerned with RPing now, since that's what occupies most of my time on here. I just wish my people were more active... stare
Oh, by the way, Sam, I'm starting the RP soon, I think. That is, of course, unless something else happens. ninja

I'm a newbie to basically all of this. The gaia slang is difficult for me to understand. But I enjoy the few roleplays I have done, I love to write (though I am still shining my skills), and I'm a total fantasy nerd. So I figured I'd find some roleplays that were more active or full and join them.
So tell me, does the maker usually just let the plot go where it goes with a few little twists, or does he/she actually guide it out more?

Well welcome Winddriven_dreamer (do you have a nickname? that would make things a bit easier. lolz)!
This guild will definitely help you with your writing and it will give you a wonderful audience if you wish to show us any of your writing! ^w^
To answer your question, it really depends on who's roleplay you choose to join. Everyone is different, some do let it go it's own way while others choose to guide it. I personally prefer to let the plot go on it's own, it gives the story more possibilities. Though guiding it usually results in a well defined story. Both styles are good, and you will find both styles here.
Just take a look around and join any roleplays you become interested in.

My spidey senses are tingling... ninja They're saying I'll be one person short in my Cryptic RP soon... stare Should I start looking for a replacement? neutral If you're getting kicked out of the house, I'd assume you'd have no internet access unless there's a library in your neighborhood. Even then you would only have limited access due to their hours of operation. If you're off Gaia you'd be no use to me as neither an RPer nor a moderator... stare

IN OTHER NEWS: Yuuki has to start school again on Tuesday (SUCKISH!). Her father has, for the first time, given her permission to go watch the Blue Man Group on Friday with her friends (AWESOME!).
