"I saw the eagle overhead. Its a beautiful bird." Maria pointed skyward, even though the bird was long gone. She smiled at him as she walked closer, her hands loose at her sides. "Is it yours?" her skirt moved around her knees and the smaller of her katana's tapped a rhythm on her thigh while the longer simply bumped her calve.

-Akihiko's armor clinked as his moved a little- No, just a bird I used to send a letter to the Nagashi home -Akihiko closed his eyes after saying that, He knew Buraian didnt want anyone to know where his home was, so he stopped after hew said that- Anyways, I was just about to learn a new jutsu would you like to join me?

"Well its beautiful." Maria continued, never the less, not bothered in the least. She blinked at him when he mentioned learning a new jutsu "Sure. What kind of jutsu is it?" she was always curious about new things. It was one of the ways she kept herself entertained during long periods of time "I'm Maria Shadan."

A lightning jutsu. -Akihiko said as he unhooked the strap holding his sword and took it off his back and leaned it against a tree- A very powerful jutsu, it will take time and effort to learn.....Guide me mother -He said as he closed his eyes- I'd keep a fifteen yard distance from me if i were you. -Akihiko took several steps away from the tree and Maria, he took out a scroll, opened it and whent over the hand signs, he started to to each hand sign slowly and repeating them not putting any chakra into them until he had them memorized-

Maria kicked off the ground and landed on a tree trunk, keeping her distance as Akihiko began signing Lightning...Interesting. she knelt on the trunk and watched him carefully, one hand on her sword to keep it from falling forward. She bit her lip "Lightning jutsu...thats a neat one."

-Akihiko again did the hand signs a going a little faster- Allright, I think i got the hand signs down....now lets try the next step, charka manipulation in my hand. -Akihiko did the hand signs one more time this time making charka appear in both his hands, the chakra appeared in his hands and then quickly faded- Tch...like I expected to master this on the first attempt?

-Akihiko did the hand signs again and made chakra appear in both his hands, the chakra was stable a few seconds longer than before but faded again-

A little more this time.... -He did the hand sings yet again and put more chakra into his hands, this began discharging electricity from his hands, which began shocking him a little, he quickly stopped and dropped to one knee- This is harder than i though it was going to be....But I won't give up

Maria watched him for a few moments then leapt down from her perch "...Maybe you should concentrate on focus, instead of power." she comment slightly, noticing how the electricity raced up his arms "I know power, chakra, is what you're aiming for but control could help with the excess." her fingers drummed her sword hilt.

-Akihiko nodded- Thanks for the tip. -he did the hand signs again and concentrated on controlling his chakra in his hands, making lightning appear in them but this time the stayed steady, but they dissipated after a few seconds- That was four seconds longer than last time.

-Akihiko did the hand signs again and this time he tried to see how long he could hold the chakra in his hands, He held it in his hands for about thirty seconds before he cut off his chakra to his hands-

Laughing slightly, Maria gave Akihiko's sword a cursory look "Are you any good with that?" she asked, waving a hand at the blade. She was always curious about sword play having grown up with them "Its a wide blade. I haven't seen many of those."

-Akihiko stopped and looked over at his sword- It's called Isamu or courage, and it's very special to me. -He didnt feel like telling her the whole story about his sword, not at that moment-
-He whent back to learning his jutsu- Allright time to get serious about this! -Akihio did the hand signs chakra began flowing into his hands, making lightning spark out and around his hands, lightning also began to spark out of the ground, but dissipated after a few seconds- Again!

-Akihiko did the hand signs again and tried once again, making chakra appear in his hands, lightning shooting out from the ground, they began to climb upwards slightly, but no rotation, the lightning dissipated and the chakra dissipated, Akihiko started huffing and puffing (>_<)- I'm running out of chakra.....I cant give up now....I'm so close.

"You should eat something." Maria declared and began pulling packets out of her bag. Locating the one she was looking for, she tossed it at him. Inside would be 3 large pork and rice bean buns with homemade sauces since she made all her own food "Then, you should spar with me. This is Ryuunosuke and Kaida." Maria indicated her larger sword first, then the smaller one "My father's and my mother's swords."

(that sounds nasty XD) -Akihiko caught the package and opened them, he sat down on the ground, and started eating- Well see how much strength I have left after this, If i have enough I will gladly accept your sparing offer. -Akihiko got back up and whent back to learning his jutsu, He did the hand signs, having them memorized now, he gathered chakra in his hands and lightning appeared in them, he concentrated the lightning to the ground and it began to rise up and spin, a spark shot from his right hand and made him stop the justu, he grabbed his hand, the lightning had traveled through his veins and was scarred-

Maria shook her head and stood, diggin again in her bag "Control. Here...its for muscle spasms and burns." she offered him a jar of sticky orange paste and some bandages "I used this a while ago. It should still be good." being prepared was something her father had always drummed into her mind. She returned to her spot on the tree and looked around the area.

-Akihiko took the pastie substance and bandages and applied them to his hand, he moved it a little, it hurt to move it, but not too much- Thanks again, I will master this! Just you watch me! -Akihiko stood back about 20 yards from her, he didn't want to hurt her, he did the hand signs and controlled the chakra into his hands, all be it a little shaky, he held the lightning in his hands, keeping it as ,long as it can, getting used to how it feels, he wanted to become one with the flow of the lightning, he held it for a minute this time before releasing it- (10/11)
I'm so close I can feel it mother! Guide me threw these final steps!
-Akihiko did the hand signs one last time, getting the right amount of chakra into his hands, he slammed the ground with both palms and a hurricane of lightning shot out from the ground and began swirling around him, striking everything inside of it, except him, it hit several trees catching them on fire, when the hurricane faded you could see where it had appeared the ground was scarred from it, Akihiko dropped to one knee- I did it mother

Maria ducked some of the lightning that lashed out at the trees and then moved to Akihiko "You ok?" she touched his shoulder lightly, concerned. She tilted her head at him, looking at his face concerned "Can you get up?"
