*remembers the old cartoon exosquad*
ow that reminds me some years ago twards the end of that show to try keeping the toy line going they took the old toy designs for zentradi and sdf mecha excludeing the VTs, and marketed them as part of the exo squad line. they kepts eevrything the same, the color, the decels, and weaponsry and cockpits, they just slaped it in a package with exosquad on it.

Sea Devil. How apropos.

As soon as Miss Ai Leen gets her ASDF stuff up I'll continue on with Plotness...

Hopefully by then someone will have gotten the necessary information out of the captive.

Who is running the GA right now?

the Commission of Retired and Inactive Gaians? razz honestly Tippman I believe, but haven't seen him on in awhile, Id hunt down the Wizard, he just posted recently, so hes probably the most likely.

Eh... it's not all that important. The GN and ASDF would have the largest roles in the Plot, I'm sure of that. Just figured I should try to get the GA in if there are any grunts still around.

Seems like it's just us Leathernecks though. 3nodding

...and I thought Normal Difficulty was hard...Arcade is even tougher. The Pretty background makes it hard to tell where enemy fire is going to @_@. I can only make it to Area 2 before using up all my lives and having to continue...and then on after...continue after continue crying . But I do have a blast dodging and weaving through waves of enemy fire...to the best of my ability sweatdrop . Raiden IV is already being "Location Test"'ed in Japan and it looks sweeeeet. Though either it was just an empty arcade shell or...Taito is making it. Youtube it and see for yourself.

yeah i dislike it when they put in far to many flashy backgrounds and make the bolts they shoot mix into the background

Mmm, one thing I should mention is that Monolith is to his race what superheroes are to humans. biggrin Theoretically speaking, the GNG should never have to cross a "natural" being like him again ever again. (Natural in that he's not mechanical or bio-engineered or enhanced in any way...he just sort of "happened".) The NPCs I'm fielding are designed to pose credible threats to entire organizations of fighting men and women, so they tend to be the "elites". The same goes for the VF-11 and Vic Voltage (and that poor little ninja girl who got eaten by ASDF's automated defenses.) as Monolith: they're meant to be just a bit too powerful for what they're going up against.

Anyways, I'll post in the appropriate RP threads when I get a chance. Should be soonish. sweatdrop

Curse those automated Defenses... wink

I'm really looking forward to Operation LZ... not only should it be fun... but it'll be a Real Conclusion to an Plot I've had on and off for about 3 years now... sweatdrop Or hopefully it'll be a real conclusion.

It'd be wierd if He survived again... I swear I had the oddest luck. "This guy is bad, we hate him... we just killed him... so Ressurect Him, bring him back from the dead, and let go off free to start up trouble again later"...

Lots of my villians end up with moments like that... sweatdrop

Actually, the answer is no. There are a good portion of them who are in the same category of intelligence, but they are capable of human-genius-level too. The species believes it is evolved from turtles, and there are actually lots of biological bits of evidence to support it. Much like our science claims the difference between monkey and human DNA is less than 2%, Monolith's race makes the same claim. But there's also lots of evidence to say they're not, too: turtles aren't lithovores, which Monolith's race is... and while Monolith's exoskeleton could be considered a shell, there is no pattern: irregularity is the norm. Then again, their beaks and their slow, deliberate thinking certainly lends itself to the turtle theory.

I had lots of fun developing this race...they're a mainstay in my tabletop RPing, when I'm not running Forgotten Realms. They've been around for about 10 years now in both sci-fi and fantasy campaigns, with Monolith being their "hero".

so basicly hes the hulk of their race without the anger issues. sweatdrop

ai leen i know your trying to move stuff along but could yah slow down just a bit were still waiting for highwind and lindy to do rp posts in the vic voltage section.

also which version of the vf-11 does this most resemble?
the VF-11D Custom Thunderbolt?
the VF-11C Thunderbolt?

Things are moving along quickly because there's a fightercraft moving along at Mach 2.8 wink

The VF-11 most resembles the standard VF-11.

I've always found it silly that the VF-11C gets a special designation just because it has a FAST pack on it. The head unit could be described as being a taller/broader visor version of the VF-11D Jamming Bird Custom. The cockpit is a single seater (which is unlike the VF-11D Jamming Bird Custom).

So if you're stat hunting based on the appearance of the thing, (and the head unit is not visible in fighter mode) You'd have to assume it's a VF-11A/B

Like I said: it looks like a Shinsei Industries VF-11 Variable Fighter with a head seemingly inspired by the VF-1S. (Still only one head laser though)

And actually, I tend to think of him as more the Juggernaut of their race. Sure Monolith's strength is impressive, but he hasn't actually been "hurt" yet. 3nodding
