Kaoru smiled. "I'm glad you're okay. Good thing I remembered the plug." she said with ease. Her smiled turned sad. "My father made this bear for me before he died. It has all the gizmo's and gadgets I'd ever need, too bad he didn't plan ahead more." She sighed and turned over to Dica. "Please be more careful with yourself, ok?" she asked, a little concerned.

Dica nodded in agreement, "Well it saved my life... you saved my life... I am in your debt." her voice still very gravilie and broken, she started to tinker with the circuitry, stopping for a second to speak, "Test..." she said with satisfaction, her voice sounding better "I still need to make more adjustments... but this will do for now" she said as she slid her collar cover back over her circuitry. nodding with satisfaction. "I will do what ever I can to help you in anyway Kaoru, I am in your debt. Thank you." staring at her gratefully.

Kaoru smiled sweetly. "That's nice, but you don't have to do anything for me. Just keep yourself safe, ok?" she replied, gently pulling out her tail from her bear. She then popped the top-hat back in and dusted off the top. Continuing to play with it, she turned the paw of the bear and a secret compartment popped open. She took out a piece of red candy and ate it, turning the paw back to the original spot. "How long have you been here Dica?" she asked, scanning through the croud of people coming in.

"I believe no more than a day, I am not sure though" Dica said, sounding unsure of her answer, she as well watched the people coming and going, "I wonder how long we will have to wait before some one claims us as their own, or if we are ever claimed." she continued, her eyes seemed to stare off farther into the distance, the code in her eyes began to glow slightly brighter.

Tears poured from her eyes and she felt her body double over in raw pain. She was trembling as the fire lit down her throat and the cuts along her jaw line bubbled with sickness and it oozed green puss.
"Please..." she sobbed, "help...."

Alito lay on his back idly fiddling with the bandage around his tail. This was seriously mind destroying. Honestly how boring could one thing get? The cat sighed heavily as he stared at the ceiling. He'd heard the girl crying on the floor for help and wondered if anyone was ever going to come and bother to help her. Not like he could do anything about it, after all he was stuck in a cage. "Hey Dica? Care to do me a favor? Shoot me. At least being dead is better than being bored." Alito said after another sigh, half serious but mostly joking.

Solstice sat quietly in his cage, looking around. His tail was hurting but he didn't want to splay it out right now. That was always a down side to his kind. His wings and tail he could not be rid of, so he wore a special device that helped keep his tail flat against his back. This place is cold Solstice thought as he flopped on his side.

Gabriel walked into the store, the small bell giving a soft chime as it opened and then closed. The Neko pushed his hood back, one ear flicked back and forth rather quickly, getting a drop of water off his ear. He paused, letting his sharp eyes adjust to the dark of the store before he looked around, making his way to the cages in front, his cane making a soft ‘tap tap’ sound with every other step. Gabriel knew what he was looking for. He knew what slave shops were like, what each color and charm ment.

Solstice glance up briefly when the door opened. He was surprised to see such a young boy walk in. Not that he cared too much about age. Relaxing against the back of the cage, the peacock shifted lightly adjusted his wings into a more comfortable position.

Gabriel walked along the front cages, looking to see who was in each and glancing at the charms. He came to a stop in front of one cage, the odd color of the slave’s hair drawing his attention first before the eyes and --‘Wings?’ Gabriel thought to himself. The slave looked strange and out of place. Like he didn’t belong here. Like how Gabriel felt. Looking at the collar he recalled two of the three colors. “What is your name?” He said to the feathered being in the cage. If he didn’t have a bum leg he probably would have sat down. After all, making a decision on a slave is a lifelong commitment in Gabriel’s opinion.

Solstice paused looking the boy over alot more now that he was closer. He looked a bit lost, and noticed a slight acent in the neko before him. The peacock registered the limp in other's leg and was curious now. "Solsitce. Solstice Raine. Something I can help you with?" The older teen's voice was soft not a whisper, heavy with an exotic accent.

Gabriel’s ears came forward a little to hear the bird better. With a nod he said, “yes. What are your charms?” He shifted his weight slightly, moving more of it onto his good leg and off the cane. Gabreil didn't recognize the accent he carried. But he recognized the violet and olive tone of the collar around the young man’s neck. The pink however he didn’t seem to know or seemed to have forgotten. And he made out a musical note as one charm among the many it seemed.

Shifting a little again, Solstice sighed internally. This place made his whole body hurt, but cages did that. "I currently hold the Music Note, a Book, Pen, Broom, and Chef hat. The broom is a recent addition. My strong suits are music, reading and writing. I'm a fairly decent cook if I do say so myself." He answered showing the charms as he spoke. It was nice to have someone who seemed to actually know what to do come in here for once. It made him rather bored with all the hum drum twits that normally walked in.

Gabriel nodded, watching as the young man shifted again. “What style of cooking do you have? And where are you from?” He asked, still trying to place the accent. It seemed, tropical almost, but he wasn’t sure. Gabriel was already lining up the next questions he would ask. Particularly why he was in a slave shop. Perhaps he wasn’t fit for household life, but then again, his collar would say something like that in it’s colors.
