Why not? if anything it keeps you from doing something stupid and dieing like a majority of those people did.
Hmm given that character deaths can be both serious and hilarious I'm not sure where that would fall under.
Right now I'm trying to figure out how best to set up a Fables RP and using that same sort of plot for modern day gods as in what would happen if all of the gods you've ever heard about was living among humans. Unfortunately for them Gods get their power through people's belief and worship of them. When people come to them seeking their power then they get stronger, so in modern days the Gods has to entice these wants out of people through their own deeds.
Such as if Narcissus was a god then he'd need to feed off vainity. For that he would work as a make-over artist or plastic surgeon.

Oh! I gots a tale to tell!
I was in this really fun rp a while back. It had something to do with tarot cards. Anyway the owner of the rp had to leave for a few days, and asked us all to refrain from posting too much while she was gone. Well, a couple of the rpers went ahead and got the next page or two. The amount the plot moved forward could be summarized in a paragraph without leaving too much out. Two characters had lunch, mine and another met for the first time, and the others did exactly nothing. Well, fearless leader gets back and throws a bitchfit because we hadn't halted the rp entirely in her absence. Then she quits the rp. It went on for a few more weeks before dying on it's own. Which was a shame.

My old character got kidnapped and wed once during a party. That was the oddest one. But n my old group I use to hate the parties and festivals it was always the same thing. We have a little fun then it gets dull because someone has to complicate things with their character's background and be all gloomy and then someone attacks or it breaks out into a big fight.
I actually bet gold with another player on whether or not 'The princess of Nightmares' would go all gloomy again during the party and then we'd be attack by one of the nightmare creatures from her kingdom she's running away from. Easiest 1k I ever made.

Anyhow fight based RP. I made my post Sunday night the guy didn't reply until this morning. If it wasn't for how the autohit rules are I would have already been declared the winner.

I have a few good ones, but my favorite thing will always be the penalty for joining and not rping in my guilds. horrible death. my absolute favorite way for it to happen? I launched one girl's character out of a large rail gun, from a moon base, (All part of the rp anyway) into space, which caused her to both sort of explode, and freeze, so she was still concious, but in incredible pain, then the rail gun round fired she was on hit the meteor it was blocking from hitting the moon base. shattered alive. ya... good times...

Wynaro lol, I'd love to see someone fall out of a tree and land in a different guild XD Like jumping off a building and landing in canada =D just strolled through and spotted this too. I actually did something like this... I had a character in a rp for a long time, and as things sort of started dieing, he got ripped out of that rps dimension... two months later, but moments in RP time, he gets tossed into the reality of a rp guild, straight from the thread rp. hes been there since.

I don't know where else to put this but this is an awesome thread moment. Absolutely nothing happened, I was just browsing a friend's thread when who do I see as one of the posters? OhHaiMark. Mark as in the guy from that it's so bad it's funny movie 'The Room' in case you don't know. I just love finding awesome avies randomly throughout Gaia.

I remember a moment in an rp where all the characters were a part of this circus. The ringmaster decides that the characters in the tent should play strip poker with him. XD So, they play some strip poker. Eventually, when one of the characters won't corperate, the ringmaster gets angry and uses his demon power to put her in a tube. This tube starts filling with water as he laughs. So, the guy with the metal arm and my shingami character had to go and break the glass before the girl drowned. It was downright funny and wierd at the same time. Aww, the times in that circus rp. XD

Okay I know that I was wrong for this but still this is how it went down. I've mentioned the guild with the autohit rules in the fights right? All month I've been in a match with this guy and we're fighting for a title and also being the first person in that guild's history of holding that title.
Sadly I rarely get more than one reply from him a day sometimes I don't even get a reply in a day although he did sign in that day. Anyhow I got tired of waiting a few days ago and posted an autohit a couple of hours early. He made his post just 20 minutes shy of making my autohit valid then pointed it out to me.
I could have been one hell of a b***h and pointed out how earlier he didn't post for 3 days and I didn't take advantage of that or how I could have had at least 2 other autohit chances throughout our fight. And well I feel selfish in saying this but in a way I feel if the person isn't active they shouldn't get that title.

I think you should bring up that very valid point there M'Lady. It always irritates me when people do stuff like that, and if it had been me, i would have pointed out their innactivity to a mod if i had to.
