Asuka Hayata Bleah, I seem to get so much hostility for completely basing my entire perception off the original version of something. :/ That's because you're basing your entire perception of Things in just one Aspect of said things. I think you might be the kind of person to whom first impressions matter more than anything, who won't ever admit she's wrong in public and won't give people second chances, ever. Am I wrong? xd ELITIST JERKS! That's one group. Also: JAPFAGS, WEEABOOS and PRETENTIOUS SNOBS. That's three more. I could keep going all day long, dude! The rest of us commonfolk? Hmm...I am going to avoid adding any fuel to this original vs dub argument. I can't speak japanese so I am going to be recieving it through a filter anyways, so personally its merely a matter of which ever voice actor I think portrays the character more to my liking. As a tip, if you want to avoid such hostility it may be a good idea to take a relatively nuetral stance and avoid calling those with an opposing opinion extremly stupid and mentally impaired. I agree with anatole, I also like chocolate. I could go for some right now...some dark chocolate...maybe a tasty looking miko...mmm...

None of those labels really fit me very well, but I guess pretentious snob fits me the best since I also refuse to watch British, Canadian, or Australian shows dubbed over by Americans.

Engrish is like "yo What'z up?" English is "Hello, How are you?" There are some slang that is okay but used too much will lead you to speaking "Engrish" than English.

They dub over a show just because they feel audiences will identify better if the characters don't have an odd accent.

I loled! blaugh I didn't know America took English programs and dubbed them though. That's a little strange ~ From a business perspective I can sort of see the point but I'd think it's a waste of resources anyways.
