Unknown to either of his parents, or his sister for that matter, Einon had discovered a link between his father and himself. Yea, Aura had mentioned that thing when his dad was struck by the arrow, but he dismissed it as a fluke. But the more he thought of it, the more he realized...he wasn't as 'isolated' as he thought he was. He was connected to his father. But it had to do with being vampires, rather than what his mom had with the currents for the whole family. He had woken up when his sister had entered the house, listening to her walk past his room. Then he heard his father 'float' downstairs and outside. Dismissing it as going hunting, Einon had rolled over and was about to fall asleep when he heard it. The scream in his mind...in his father's voice. He snapped up when suddenly the voice, and the feeling of connection, disappeared. Jumping from his bed, he forgot about Artemis, tripped and fell into the wall. "Crap, sorry Artemis."
Artemis was dreaming about being the greatest water mage in histroy, not needing his staff anymore to conjure the most powerful weapons of water and ice. Just as he was getting to the good part, wiping out an entire army with a flick of his wrist, he was awoke to a kick in the side of his head. He recoiled, balling up thinking there was an attack, his staff in his hand. Looking around, Artemis grunted at Einon and rubbed his kicked head. "Dang dude, you got a hard foot."
"Something bad happened to my dad!" Einon shouted. He burst out of the door, ran down the hall and bursted into his parents room, his left hand holding a shield of shadows incase. Panting, he looked from the empty bed to his mother in the window, terror on his face. "Dad....?"

((OOC: I can't remember where I left Aura. So now she went to her room and is currently asleep.))
Engela's attention turned to her son. The terror on his face confirmed her shrieking instincts. "What is it, Einon?" she inquired. To all appearances she was as calm as could be, but years upon years of hiding and altering her emotions to fit the situation had taken hold. In reality she was as frightened as her son.
What she didn't tell him - couldn't tell him - was that she'd reached out to Mathias again the instant Einon had come into the room. Was still reaching. And she couldn't find him. He never went out of range of her currents without letting her know, even with just the mental equivalent of a shoulder tap before he was gone.
She could have bought easily that he had forgotten to let her know - it had happened before, although not as much recently. She could have bought - with a great deal more difficulty - the idea that Einon had simply had a nightmare while his father was out hunting, and had gotten the idea something had happened to him. But both?
No. Never.

Aura stirred as she felt a flash of terror in her mind - almost doubled, since she was feeling it from both her twin and her mother. Then she sat up straight and turned in the direction of her parents' room.
"Mom, what is it?" she asked aloud, not questioning that her mother could and would hear her. And hear she did, and reply.
"Something has happened to your father, dearest. I--"
"Hang on. I'll be right there."
Aura got to her feet and went into her parents' room, all traces of sleep gone as she looked from her mother to her twin.

The Captain returned with a small battalion of troops outside the house hold he now had Mathias under wraps locked up in a chamber he was in just a white shirt and plain shorts everything else about him had been strapped he was hanging from a wall.

Artemis followed Einon, heading towards the room to find out what was going on. He waited in silence.
Einon looked at his mom. "I..I felt him scream mom. Then nothing. Near the edge of the woods. I..I feel his sword calling to me mom. The pain..he's hurt bad." Drawing his sword, he looked at his mother. "I'm going to find dad." Without a second look, he teleported out of the room to his father's sword. Looking around, he found a couple stray arrows. Picking them up, he smelled them and hissed. Nerotoxin. Would paralyz even his father if struck by enough of them. He looked at his father's sword, pulsing with energy. He sheathed his own and reached out, slowly to take his father's sword. When his hand came in contact with the hilt, all his father's powers rushed through his body. Gasping, he fell to his knees, the sword pulsing in his hand. As he looked down, Einon felt more powerful than he ever did in his entire life, he felt his dad's powers in his veins. "I will find you dad, no mater where you are...I WILL find you!" Screaming, he ran back home and sounded the alarm, seeing the battalion approaching.

Alex jumped up startled "whazzat was going on" he said sheepishly...
Leon looked and said "i knew something wasn't quite right....oh well a heroes work is never done" he said with a sigh

Naomi blinked, waking up. "What happened?" she asked, her voice slightly groggy, but not by too much.

Sora stood, jumping off the roof of the house. "I could tell something was wrong, but I had thought I was simply being paranoid," she murmured, unhappy with her star-gazing.

Sora, at that point, had entered the house to see if anyone knew what was going on. "Not that I know of," she replied. "I don't see anyone, and I've been outside for a while... Then again I was only paying attention to the stars at that point. But something does seem amiss, I was kinda hoping one of you knew what it was."

Engela merely shook her head. As impulsive as his father. She thought she'd taught him not to rush into things like that. Quietly, she offered her hand to her daughter. When Aura took it, they shimmered into darkness, appearing seconds later outside their front door, just behind Einon. "I hope that goes back to him once this is all over. Einon's not ready to handle it," she mused aloud when she saw her son - who, to her magical vision, shone with more power than he had ever possessed before. That alone told her what must have happened.
She placed her hand quietly on her son's shoulder, watching the approaching battalion. "We will find him, Einon. But rushing in that way will do nothing but get you in trouble. I'm sure I've taught you better." Despite her fear for Mathias, she found a tiny place in her mind to be grateful for the years of teaching that the Empire had given her. It would keep her mind clear, separate the frightened lover and the cool-headed warrior, and keep the warrior in control.
With luck, they would handle this.

Vix chuckled wryly. "I have become a city girl," she said lightly as she stood. "Serves me right for not listening to your instincts, my dear." She turned to Alex. "Did you remember what I taught you? Sleep with your weapon nearby when there's a possibility of danger?" She smiled wearily, unsheathing her own weapon. "You're going to need it."

Leon kisses his wife and said "it happens you've been right numerous time before though soo don't worry about it" Leon sheathed his weapon as well
Alex shook his head to like shake off being sleepy he grabbed his sword and said "yea i remembered mom" he said with a big smile

ETA: I'm waiting for a couple more pages, and then I'm taking Alexa somewhere else, because if I want to get my evil plan going, I have to set it in motion really soon.))
Vix smiled a little at her son. "Good," she replied quietly. "In that case, let's get started."
She glanced over at Leon. "When we're done here, remind me to apologize," she teased lightly before walking outside. Quietly, she looked at Engela. "Just like old times," she murmured, before turning to face the soldiers.

"ok i don't know where she is taking you or if she as told you what that place looks like yet and i'm not going to ask. i am going to say that if you find a village that is protected by magic, if it seems to appear out of nowhere, avoid it. it is not a place you want to be at. there is someone there that you want to avoid. do you understand?" he asked. and i didn't know that Alexa was going nuts. she seemed kinda annoyed but crazy? O.O) {I thought the same, meh, who knows?} Kirra cocked her head and raised an eyebrow, she was curious now, "What's in there that is so dangerous?"Arashi watched the two walk away from them and then sat down on the ground, utterly bored. She ley down and started tossing a knife up into the air and catching it with one hand while the other was behind her head.

Alexa watched the two of them with a slow, sparking stare. Kirra was supposed to be her ally in this. If the other woman was planning to betray her, she...
Frowning, she shook her head minutely. What was that about? Kirra wouldn't betray her. Surely not.
But still, she wondered, and her stare grew frozen as it bored through them.
