Maria mused, "Maybe...maybe we can walk on it too." "You might have someting, but how...just plant our feet and go up? This is by far the strangest thing I've ever seen. Ladies first." Wade bowed and stepped aside. There might have been a noise outside but the humming of the machine covered it up. Maria stepped up onto the machine and nervously set her foot on it and nearly fell when her gravity changed. She looked down at Ward who now appeared to her to be standing on the wall. "Whoa trippy." "That's insane... It's holding you onto itself. This machine is remarkable. We should hurry so that we can get a drop on them, they've gotten quite the head start." Ward stepped onto the machine as well. "Right." Maria replied. She took a few stepped and turned her head back at Ward. "About about we walk fast. I don't feel safe running on this." "I don't blame ya!" Ward grabbed the beam with his hands and then placed one foot after the other upon it. He stood up perpindicular to the ground,"I wouldn't wanna push our luck and end up falling off this thing because we get in a hurry." Maria nodded and walked as fast as she felt comfortable. "Slow and steady. We'll totally kick their asses for this."

"Whatever!" Felicia replied with obvious venom and kicked the nearby patrol car which did a neat backflip and landed in a crash on its tires. "Uh...whoops. You think they'll notice?" Maria stepped up onto the machine and nervously set her foot on it and nearly fell when her gravity changed. She looked down at Ward who now appeared to her to be standing on the wall. "Whoa trippy." The Kohr Vmak The Kohr Vmak The Kohr Leon paused in his hasty retreat and turned to see who called his name."Oh Ms. McDaniel, what are you doing here?" He squinted at her from across the room wondering what was on her forehead. He walked towards her. “I’m supposed to be looking for someone, I don’t remember who. What are you doing here? It’s not everyday I see you up in a hotel.” Laura said aloud as she approached Leon, not caring who heard her conversation. Leon reached up to her face and removed the post it note. "It would appear you need to speak with an Ester. Perhaps you should just go to the front desk. I'll be on my way then." He turned again and headed for the door crumbling the note in his hand. Soul exited from a room behind the back coner and looked out at the two kids. "You people don't realise that Ester has a job, her time is vaulable and all you do is waste it. She has a family to support." He belched out to them crossing his arms in the doorway to the staff lounge. Laura turned to see Soul standing behind the counter,"What are you talking about, where is Carol? I have no idea what is going on anymore." "Soul? You're Soul right, the Godfather of Crime-Fighting?" Leon question, it was clear that Soul had gotten his attention. "Yeah I am kid what's it to ya?" Soul replied "I have so many question I would love to ask you," his eyes lit up as he quickly rushed the main counter, " I mean you are the reason why a lot of people in or profession wanted to be a hero as a kid, you're one of my big influences." "Boy, are you stupid we are in broad day light, this is not the place to discuss this. And you girl, Carol left but you are welcomed to join me and Jugghead here in the back room." Soul turned around and exited the lobby. Leon quickly followed him like a happy little puppy. "Let me get this straight, you're supposed to be some great vigilante who's done all sorts of really great stuff, yet I've never heard of you. And Leon has super powers and he's looking for Danny Deleno, the gloomy kid in my economics class. Who you also say is currently on a mission with Reaper and Heatstroke, because of his special powers.... None of this s**t makes a bit of sense." Laura sighed and leaned back in her seat across from Soul. She looked over at Leon, “Can you believe this s**t, oh and not to mention you say Reaper has no powers what so ever and he's bringing My friend Carol with him to use her, which is total bullshit, If you don't have powers then you should sit at home or join the police force like everyone else." She finished crossing her arms.

When I was five, he solved the mystery behind the spree of fires that almost engulfed the whole city. He also single handedly adverted a nuclear disaster from happening in the capital building right here in the city, who was it that had brought it in to the city?” Leon paused to ask Soul. “The Winter Guard, they were a former Soviet coalition of individuals who believed in taking over America or something for some purpose. Although I think the line up has changed since back then, I also think they don’t go for the whole world domination stint anymore.” He replied. “Besides, do you even know anything about Reaper, he’s allegedly done more than any other hero alive. Besides that… Danny, man, he’s got power that you wouldn’t believe. Which is why I’m here in the first place.” Leon took a drink of water and looked around the lounge. It wasn’t much for a hotel that was so grand. "What about the Constellation? What don't you tell them about that?" Tessa said as she walked up the the group and took a seat uninvited.
