"First blood to the torso it is then, but who or what is Vin exactly?" William said before he readied himself again. "Blades....got to be careful with those...." William thought to himself as he assumed a more defensive stance. "They look quick, but hopefully I'm faster." His breathing got faster and faster until he took in one last, deep breath before launching his assault. "Ready as everrr!" he yelled with a smile on his face.

A swift fake-out jab to the left, a sweep of his leg at Maikeru's legs, and a tumble backwards to his feet ended his initial test of his opponent's skill. Although he had attacked swiftly, he had made sure that he was able to block or at least parry any normal attacks made at him while he did this. Thus his defense had been only a few attacks rather than an all out furry of blows like he was used to giving out back on Earth.

"Again a highly trained person. This is a new league of fighting, and I feel like a rookie amongst them," he thought as he watched his opponent's blows while stopping his leg on the ground before the blade. They were much more down to his level for the moment, and his opponent knew he was holding back his attacks.

He smiled at the comment and said, "I'm in a completely new world, excuse me while I try to learn what can and can't be done here while trying to improve myself. Now that you've given me your shoulder, however, I don't think I'll pass up the opportunity." Instead of trying to dodge the blow to the chest, he grabbed onto his opponent and pulled him, falling backwards to the floor while throwing Maikeru past him. William hit the ground a little harder than he would have liked because of the two person momentum, but a swivel of his legs and feet, and he was back up and ready to go another round.

William felt a few hairs get cut off the top of his head and a slight pain come from his right ear while Maikeru went over him. "Right, I have ears up there now," he thought to himself as his right hand checked his ear for blood. Sure enough, there was an ever so slight cut in his ear and he was bleeding. Not even a few seconds later, he saw Maikeru grab something from behind his back while putting his daggers away. "Are those....oh crap!" He dodged to the right, but the knives followed him. Three managed to hit him and one was knocked off course by his left sword. Had anyone been watching his running style, they would have noticed his rather comical attempt to get away with his hands out front while his body tried to keep up with his legs. Once the barrage was finished, William grabbed and pulled out both knives that had hit him; one was in his leg while the other had gotten stuck in his tail. "Ow! Gods, I really hadn't expected throwing knives in this fight," he said after pulling the one in his tail out.

William stood back up from taking out the knives and said, "At least I'm learning," as if in defense. He brought his fists back up to guard and ran at his opponent once more. "This time I'll get a good hi--hi--achoo!" What happened next was one of the strangest things William had ever experienced. In the blink of an eye, he went from a stable run to a full on face plant. He slid to his opponent's feet, but not in human form; he had become a leopard. "What the heck?!" he said as he looked up with unusually sensitive eyes that zoomed in on Maikeru's face before looking him completely over. He attempted to get up, but he only fell back down a moment later. Some of the dust from his tumble entered his nose and he sneezed again. When he opened his eyes for the second time, he noticed that everything was back to normal, but that he was still at Maikeru's feet. "Woaw I feel disoriented, and somewhat nauseous. Wh-what exactly just happened?" he asked while keeping his stomach under control.

((lol, a combination of maikeru almost never being serious, him not understanding what the term means, and a few other factors, he has some rather odd opinions lol))

Maikeru saw it, in his own, completely and utterly unbiased opinion, he had some of the fastest eyes in the Seireitei. But he'd never seen someone go Animorph before, sure...he'd heard of Arrancar who did it...But Shinigami? No.

"Dude, I got no clue what just happened to you, and you can ask Zaine which one, but I think after that, you should either get yourself studied by Squad 12 or looked at by 4th. Zaine? Whichever, cause either way I can get him there fastest, one Push and we'll be there."

Maikeru glanced at Reikai with mischief in his eyes, "I'm afraid you may have spoken to early, if anyone is going to be unconsious it's him."

Reikai crossed her arms, looking not that fazed by the other's tranformation and back. "Which is exactly why I plan on stay concious, thank you very much." She looked over at William. "You've got that right. Only I'd add something else too. Chance of losing sanity: a lot." She rolled her eyes and stepped back.

"Hmmm well 12 does research and what not, and 4th is healing and maintenance. 12 could likely tell you why that happened and maybe fix it so you could control it, or it doesn't happen again, and 4th may be able to help with the loss of motor function."

Maikeru reached down to help Will stand up, as he straightened back up he saw Reikai, and incidentally behind Reikai.

"Sanity I must say is highly overrated, I've never really known the real world all that well." Maikeru waved jubilantly at the creeper behind her whispering in her ear, "Hiya creeper dude!"

William was still very much confused at the spontaneous tumble while running, "After two thousand years of living on Earth, I've found that sanity is the least of your worries. But what exactly happened to me? All I remember before eating dirt was me charging at Maikeru while saying something about getting a hit in on him before I sneezed. After that, I just found myself headed straight for the ground. Then I couldn't get back up for some reason and my arm was all black. And what do you mean Animorph?"
