"Wait," Valaryia called but he was gone. She felt uneasy as the only two people left in the room were her and the woman. As starved as she was, she forced herself to put down the steak, rubbery from the microwave.
"Hello," she said cautiously. "I would offer you some steak but it's all covered in my scent now." My scent? When did I start identfying belongings with scent?

Neferata turned her attention over to the woman. "Hello." she said as she sniffed. "It wouldn't matter to me anyway. I have never eat that sort of stuff, never needed to. I don't see why you would be eating it either." she said crigngin alittle at the sight of the food.

Valaryia blinked. She knew, of course. She had to be one. "Well I don't know what else I should eat," Valaryia said awkwardly. "I don't want to... hurt anything," she said, careful in her choice of words.

"Well as I said I have nothing to do until Felicity wakes up and well I have been distant from you lately due to current events. I want to spend some time with my little princess" he said as he messed with her hair a little.
"You don't need to hurt anything if you don't have the stomach for it." Neferata said as she walked over to the fridge and opened it. "Everything you need to survive is right in here." she said as she removed a small bottle of red liquid and closed the fridge over.

Valaryia stared at the bottle. Blood. "But something was hurt in the taking of that," she protested. But her stomach was stronger than her brain. The steak was tasteless and unsatisfying. And, much to her horror, the little bottle was... tempting.
"That..." Valaryia gasped, "looks..."
Her stomach tightened and her crossed her legs. A look of strain came over her pretty face and she fought with herself not to grab that little bottle right out of the woman's hand.

"Come on. Has our kind really gotten this weak since I walked the land." she said as she placed the bottle on the counter. "You have two choices right now. Feed or sucumb to the eternal rest." she said as her arms floder across her chest.
Shadow walked into the dinning room and sat down in his chair.

Valaryia's stomach gave an agreeing growl. s**t, thought Valaryia.
"I want it," she said quitely. "It's just... a month ago I was one of those victims. I don't want anyone to go through what I did." She closed her eyes, consumed in painful memories. "And now I feel as if I'm getting off at their suffering."

Shadow leaned into the back of his chair as he lit a cig.

The scent was intoxicating. Valaryia now realized why no food she ate could fill her up. "I've never fed," she said, almost blankly. She was completely captivated by the blood.

I finally finished getting all of Jaik's things together, they were ready to be thrown out the window when he finally decided to show his face around here. Tired of being cooped up in my room all day I went downstairs carry myu ash tray and smoking a cigar. I sat at my usual spot at the head of the table and had the servants bring me a glass of blood and a bottle of Jack Daniels.

Shadow look over to Vickilyn. "Hello there Vicki. How are you feeling?" he asked as he took a long draw from his cig.
Neferata smiled. "Just relax and drink. It gets easyer the more you do it." she said as she walked closer to the woman. "This is about survival. A human wouldn't think twice about killing you if they foudn out what you are. So tell me did you knwo the one who sired you?"

I waved my hand at Shadow lazily, "Alright I suppose" is all I said as the servant put what I ordered on the table in front of me. I grabbed the glass of blood and chugged it down as fast as I could, I followed that up with the whiskey, in a matter of a few seconds I had drank the whole bottle. I stood up a little wobbly and threw the empty bottle at the wall, the glass shattered everywhere and two servants rushed to clean it up. I leaned over the table steadying myself just a little.
