Wow. I just realized Sakurai has very little reason to delay when so many good updates are still possible and assuming updates stop once released in Japan, we only have 33 updates left to go.
It's not like he still needs to do filler stuff because of the delay. For a game like this it's possible to do 33 interesting updates without spoiling everything.
So..... What the ******** is he doing exactly? Personally my whole theory on him getting drunk and posting his p***s is more interesting than, "HEY GAIZ OLD POKEMANZ ARE BAK".
There's plenty of better use for updates. Hell songs are better! Or explaining if Zelda remains Sheik! Or if ZS-Samus is selectable from the select screen!
Why does he still need to do this filler crap? I seriously don't get it Sakurai. I'm ussually not one to complain about the updates but it's not like we have a decade left it's a month worth of updates which isn't that big.
