Yes. The cat scratch her and left a bloody mess. Nothing that a band-aid can't fix.
I personally think she's over reacting. I stepped on a piece of glass last week.

My cat scratched me in the eye once, and I didn't freak out.
Oh, but tell her to wash it with soap and put Neosporin on it. Cat scratch fever, and all that.
