Why can't I use "c**k" in word bump? c**k is a perfectly usable word. Also, yay level 90. And this is one of the coolest things under the sun.

...You guys are making the inability to play Word Bump so much worse. gonk At least you guys were able to get the 20, 30 g per level while it was there.
Most of my recent thoughts are about Word Bump, but that's a lot of what I'm seeing when I'm coming here. Bleh.
I want chocolate.
I hope those drinks freeze soon.
I wonder if Mom will fall asleep, so I can stay on longer...
...Episode 37 is the best episode ever.
He had it coming.
And now, dishes. gonk

"c**k" worked when I used it yesterday. :[ Meh, Word Bump typically freezes up around level 10 for me - I end up making a grand total of 10g most times. Why can't you play, Sor?

The same reason I don't have AIM, Shockwave or Firefox -- I don't have the most recent version of Flash, and I can't install anything on this computer. - -;

Could you ask whoever the "administrator" is to give you Shockwave/Flash? [And everything else?]

Sirius Silverstar Agh, is it not your computer? Could you ask whoever the "administrator" is to give you Shockwave/Flash? Yup, it's Dad's computer, and the admin account is pw protected. I've asked. Plenty of times. They think that just installing Shockwave or Flash will overrun the computer with viruses. Back when Homes came out, and I asked for Shockwave, the conversation went something like this: "Mom, I really need Shockwave on the computer. I need it to use something on Gaia." "No, it'll put a bunch of viruses on the computer again." "Look, there's an announcement on Gaia saying it's completely safe if you're careful." "They just want you to buy their product." "...Gaia didn't make Shockwave. And it's free." "Nothing is free." I'll have to get my little brother to ask them for me. They listen to him. rolleyes

My parents were like that too - in addition to the virus paranoia, they also had this program called "ENUFF" which limited my internet time per day, and during "homework hours" programs like AIM and IE were blocked. Maybe you could show him the Macromedia website and reassure him it's OK? Let him read around for himself? :3

They're much too lazy to get anything worthwhile done when they're on the computer. Dad plays games (the only games on this computer are on the admin account, so I can't play) and Mom checks her thousands of e-mails (she refuses to delete irrelevent ones from years ago) or looks at funny pictures. e e; I also showed her YouTube when I wasn't thinking, so she spends a lot of time looking up stuff on that, too... ...However, my brother has convinced them to put things on the computer in the past, so maybe he can do something about this, too. gonk It won't be long before he's affected by this, too, since he spends a lot of time on Newgrounds.

I'd be more worried about catching a virus via email spam. x3 One day soon, Sor - ONE DAY SOON. gonk Hey, what do you think of this Friday as the new auction date? :3 Still trying to find a good day, it's so hectic around here.

I'm kinda surprised she hasn't yet. She has hundreds of pages of e-mail. Her box is 100% full, but the e-mails just keep coming. ...Uh-oh. It probably won't be too soon, since she just caught me taking some chocolate when she told me to wait. xD; I helped out a lot today, I deserved it. T^TSounds good to me. 3nodding

If they're that worried about viruses tell them to invest in a decent anti-virus program. It's stupid not to anyway, and I've never had a problem with a decent one running.
That and with firefox you run adblock/noscript and it pretty much eliminates most possible bad scripts. Combine with a firewall, and you're pretty much set (as long as you don't download anything suspicious of your own accord).
I mean, as long as you take precautions ahead of time, you really should never have much in the way of problems. And those are pretty basic things to do anyway, at least the firewall and anti-virus. Plus there are plenty of good, free ones.
I hate people with a fear of things like that. Don't invest in it if you don't want to take care of it.

Urgh, I forgot that I get neck cramps of murder when I play a handheld for too long.
Totally worth it. :D
I'm still amused by the fact that there was a game in the used DS I bought, and I didn't get charged for it. Not to mention that it was one of my favorite games for the 64. It was definitely worth getting slightly lost on the way home. x3;
Ahhh, Animal Crossing, how I love thee~ Even if I had to pay thirty-five bucks for you.
