Fox 9 is better, they've got a chopper over the site. There are two confirmed deaths. They have unconfirmed reports that there are 50 cars in the water. There was construction on the bridge, so only one lane was open, but 20-30 construction workers were on the bridge at the time of collapse.

They're working as fast as they can at the moment, there's a storm heading right at us, should be an hour and a half or so.

There was a school bus on the bridge, they apparently all made it out ok. They're getting better estimates as time goes on. There's 50+ cars in the water, they've set up triage in the Red Cross lobby and the Fairview Riverside and Hennipen County hospitals are the ones taking the people on.

Wally_West Yes, all of the MN Kapow!ians are present and accounted for. Now they are. Luckily the one person I new travelling towards that bridge before the collapse stopped off at a store first. Their urge too go shopping at the local mall kept them busy until after the collapse accured.

Great. A bridge collapsed. People died. It's very sad. Somehow they're finding things to report about. And what is CNN doing?
"OH NOES! Everyone look out, what if YOUR bridges collapse too?!"
I have decided that people in the USA are easily paniced. You're far more likely to get hit by a drunk driver, bitten by a dog or mugged, but now we're all supposed to worry about bridges falling out from under us. stressed We should never leave our houses, the world is so dangerous.
