"No, not yet. We're engaged." Yugi said defensively, taking Kawi's hand in his and continuing to glare at Luci.

"Oh I know that." luci said. He took a step closer and chuckled "You know...I still need a soul to bring back with me..." he said. In a flash he had kawi pinned to the wall. cupping her cheaks he kissed her deeply.
Kawis eyes went huge as she was sudenly kissed. She felt weak. She squirm oviously in pain.

"Let her go!" Yugi shouted, lunging forward at the stranger smooching on his fiancee. He hadn't grown too much and still seemed like a scrawny high schooler; he doubted he could pull this guy off of Kawi. But he had to try. He grabbed Luci's shoulder, pulling on him.

Luci oddly let him pull away. When luci backed away a small glowing thread like thing came from kawi's mouth and was going into luci's. Kawi's eyes were wide and her back was arched in pain.

Once Luci was away from Kawi, Yugi hardly paid any attention to him. He grabbed Kawi's shoulders, looking startled. "Kawi? Are you alright?"

Kawi had slumped down on the wall. Her eyes were wide open but glased over. Her lips were parted slightly but no breath was comming out.
Luci laughed licking his lips "I can see why you loved her...she taste so sweet." he said and started to walk away.

Yugi considered going after him, but decided that seeing to Kawi was more important. He growled in frustration and checked for a pulse.

As he felt for a pluse he would find there was none. Not a trace. Her body was limp in his arms and was already starting to cool.

Yugi froze, fooling himself for a few seconds, thinking that he was feeling Kawi's pulse when it was, in face, his own heartbeat in his ears. He blinked slowly, looking at her face, and realizing that the glazed look in her eyes wasn't just from shock. She was dead. All of Yugi's anger drained away and he was left feeling completely hollow; his entire body was numb.

after a moment yugi would feel a soft breath tickle his ear "Figure it out yet?" luci whispered into his ear desiding to come back for more entertaiment.

Yugi turned his head slowly, his eyes still wide. He was having quite a bit of trouble accepting what had just happened. "You... killed her..." He said, sounding meek.
