That moment when you go back and read your old rp posts and want to die because those 'awesome' characters you came up with are just blatant, bland, badly-written and poorly-considered cliche's. Also, that moment when you go back, read your rp posts and feel nostalgic about playing and sharing all that with people who are, frankly, among the craziest, funniest, and most awesome you've come to know. It's weird that other people who I RP'd with 'back in the day' feel the same. Nad said it very well. As older people now, we see our characters as the overdone cliche's that they are, but still revel in the experiences we had.
I just got back on Gaia for the first time last week in years. Nothing I've found compares to Ria crying I miss it.

oh Ria. I love you. You gave me a great run, a great experience, and certainly some great friends. Looking at how much we tried to improve such a simple concept such as RPing into a sort of psuedo-DnD styled thing that even high schoolers can hop in whenever, I feel we came far. We could have gone farther, true, but imagination and time takes its toll on any human.
