Arceli's out on a random walk and she smells two scents, one is very new and one is, unfortunately, familiar. He begins to run with considerable speed towards the new Lycan in town she can smell, with a hand on one of her UV pistols. She gets there and smiles at him. He was about her age and not too bad... but more importantly, Cady was around. She slows down as she reaches Ruathi, and begins walking alongside him.
You know this area isn't safe. You're being watched from the rooftops, by a vamp.
*She takes his hand and goes to run*
Come on, I'll take you somewhere safe.

((*shakes head* None of you here know what New York City is like. NYC is NEVER, NEVER, NEVER, NEVER quiet! Even at 2:00AM there are cars in the streets and people talking and laughing. If any of you post anything about it being quiet you're sadly incorrect, this is the city that never sleeps, Frank Sinatra even said it xp ))

GaBbYmEnTaL ((*shakes head* None of you here know what New York City is like. NYC is NEVER, NEVER, NEVER, NEVER quiet! Even at 2:00AM there are cars in the streets and people talking and laughing. If any of you post anything about it being quiet you're sadly incorrect, this is the city that never sleeps, Frank Sinatra even said it xp )) ((yeah but this isn't like the normal NYC. For a start half of it is missing, And secondly there are quiet back alleys in any city. Besides, it's all relative.))

*Rogue knew she should be almost insulted by cady's presence, but she felt no threat in him. he loved to make her squirm. loved to press her to her abilities. did he mock her? she did not know.
her french accent prevailed as she was burdened with too many thoughts in too many directions. she remembered too much of the old days...of her old self...Kaei....*

*she almost smiles, though did not know why, and takes a drag on her cigarette smelling lycans nearby.*

You smell them too? they're both young, a couple of buildings that way. I was watching one and another came. That b***h shot me...

*smiles wondering what lycan landed a bullet in cady. she takes a drag on cigarette and is in a stance not really looking at cady but over the edge of the building...almost like a cat, only because gracefulness was her nature. it was for most vampires.*
"it did seem a bit odd to me....attacking ones one kind with such...ruthlessness. but then again we have all gone crazy in some way or another...our nature gets the best of us most days...."

*Cady looks over to her, seeming very sane today, compared to past performances she may have seen him. He considers singing, it seems the kind of night for it but changes his mind. He instead just talks* I don't think I'm insane, perhaps a little obsessive... and ruthlessness... I am always ruthless, it's a part of my nature. spending hundreds of years among barbarians makes one ruthless.

*Kaei did notice his saneness. she too had a time of being wreckless and ruthless, but in these days she liked it when her head was clear. she took a drag on cigarette and looked over at him.*

*Cady tilts his head slightly at these romantic notions, how long had it been since they had died in him, although he still does sing. And perhaps there will always be romance in song* hmm? I like eyes that reflect any precious gem, Although green eyes are my favorite. *Again he wants to sing, but doesn't. He was still a bard at heart even after all these centuries.*

::Ruathi's head flies up to look suprised at the girl walking suddenly next to him. His eyes look a bit wild, and he steps to the side, skittishly. She certainly was attractive, but something about her reminded him of Alice.....she smelled like her. His hand clenches at his sling bag.::
Wha?......Who, who are you? And what do you mean vamp.....Do you mean vampire?! There are vampires??!!!
::He stands stunned when she takes his hand, and nods dumbly when she says the word "safe". Safe.....if only there were somewhere he could feel safe.::

*she awakens in the abandoned apartment room she had slept in. her thoughts had almost entrapped her as the sun began to come up to her suprise the night before.
Rogue crawls out of the apartment by the window and climbs up to the roof. the roof she had sat on with cady only a night ago.
it had been 2 days since she last fed. she thought it might be good for her to do so. she stood there a moment lighting a cigarette, taking a big drag, blowing it out...and surveying the area.*
