Atem looked to Ember, wondering if she knew him from somewhere. "You don't work with Khalid, do you?" He asked, because of how similar the two looked. As well as the strange abilities they both had.

"No I just met him a few days ago. Interesting man." luci said.
Kawi had just walked in the room "EMBER!" she yelled and ran over and hugged her.

Atem fell silent, trying to work things out in his mind. Just then, Kawi ran in, completely ruining his train of thought. "Careful! We don't want to break her so soon!" He exclaimed, only half in jest. Yugi followed in behind Kawi at a more slower pace.

Kawi let go tears running down her cheaks"I was so worried!" Ember gently hugged kawi looking out for kai "there there"

Atem drew Yugi off to the side, deciding to let the girls have their little emotional reunion. They were silent, clearly communicating through their yami/hikari bond. But Yugi couldn't hide his surprise through just that. "What?! You what?" He demanded, looking shocked. "Yami, how could you? That is so stupid!"

Kawi smiled and sat kai on her lap. Ember smiled ruffling his hair. Hearing yugi yell kawi looked over "What?"
Luci watched everything. He seemedto think of it as a show.

Yugi looked over at Luci, seemingly noticing the demon for the first time. It took him a few moments before he looked to Kawi and Ember. "Atem's signed his soul over to this guy, or something, for her to get better." Yugi said, through clenched teeth. He clearly was against this arrangement.

Kawi blinked "Really?"
Ember looked shock "Atem..You did?"
"Luci smirked "Oh and the child in her is still alive aswell."

"Of course I did. What other choice did I have?" Atem muttered, wondering if he should be feeling bad for this. He looked at Luci, wondering why he chose right then to pipe up with that.

Luci laughed desiding to leave. He patted kai on the head before exiting the room.

Yugi glared at his yami; he found this a very stupid move for him to have made. Yugi hissed mentally, but Atem was ignoring him. The boy growled with frustration.

Kawi sighed softly noticed yugi was getting agery "why dont we go get somthing to drink. kai can stay here" kawi said taking yugi by the hand and pulling him out.

Yugi huffed and would have insisted on staying, but decided against it. "I can't believe he would do something that stupid. It's probably a trap. Nothing good will come of this." He complained, once out of the room.

"Well it is his choice. It might not be the one you like but that is up to him. Lets go to a cafitira" kawi said.
After a while of walking luci had traped then in a corner "Well well what do we have here? Not very happy I see?"

Yugi took a step backwards when that man from earlier showed up. His eyes narrowed when he realized that this was the person who had made the deal. "Of course not! It's got to be a trap!" Yugi snapped, feeling his rage flare up again. "What do you want his soul for? It can't be because of the goodness in your heart or anything. You have no reason to be taking an interest in this."
