Seph paused leaning forward so to headbutt Chobi seeing as she had been so keen to do the same just a moment ago "Maybe I am being a little paranoid but... gotta be careful what we say about it when other people are nearby. The elves seem to pick up on pretty everything said when they aren't distracted and folk like Satoshi and surprisingly Hebal to name a couple are pretty sharp" she stated based on her observations of the gorup.
Hebal gasped surprised to see suddenly Zeath had managed to raise her blade up in time to counter the blow "Ooh they are getting fast now! Wheres the popcorn when you need it!" she complained watching her push Mari backwards with ease before unleashing a strike of her own aimed towards Mari's legs "Hehe ok ok but I wanna know your real foreign desert person full name in exchange since I really don't like the name"

Hayate sighed nodding his head in agreement "Ok ok it's a deal whatever. But in olden days everyone just named first born sons and daughters after their parents so middle names stopped letter confusion later on and stuff like that. Or at least thats what I got told. Fortunately I wasn't named after mine but unfortunately I was given the full name 'Nikito Seryeshka Klossovsky and if you laugh I'll make sure you never get any popcorn for stuff like this in future too" he added jokingly.
Satoshi flicked her hair back and patted her lap, encouraging Terrato to slither up and onto it "Why not just use the mognet to send requests to the towns with your money. Or better yet you could join one of the big global banks where most populated places can provide ya with the gil" she suggested scratching her head "Say... how much have you got at present? I'm just curious"

Zadina giggled "Desert elves have such odd names, they all sound kinda funny to me" he said patting the red mage hat he'd borrowed "No offence Mr Hayate of course!" he said watching Mari casually move her sword down to strike her foe lightly on the hand redirecting her opponent's attack away from her before moving to the side to put more distance between them.
Gil shrugged "I could if I had the time, most well established cities aren't home to big conflicts oddly enough so I find myself with little reason to go there though I couldn't tell you how much I had, it's too split up and I never really counted" he said as Enkidu climbed onto him for a petting.
Itaka smiled as Chobi happily headbutted Seph "I guess so, but still nothing really we've done that would indicate it, I suppose the fact we're dating without really taking an interest in longevity might make them think we have some backup plan but..." he shrugged "There's nothing we can do about that."

Seph grinned headbutting Itaka seeing that he was in a way being left out "Yeah so expect a big long lecture on how we should be paying more attention about what we're looking for by somebody in the near future" she smirked patting him upon the head "Does it bother you having people know your actual age that much though? I'm sure nobody will think any less of you"
Hebal snickered almost missing the paladin circling Mari before rushing towards Mari within the blink of an eye resulting in a series of slices aimed towards her left side "Hehe wow that is a funny name indeed. I don't get why you desert elves have names like that but oh well.... it's not nice to laugh at culture stuff. Never mind, as promised my full name is Hebal Elmose Atano" she informed them bouncing slightly.

Satoshi shook her head a little stroking Enkidu's tail as it became reachable "I meant on you now like carrying about. And if you rarely ever go to the big cities we should go to one for a nice little holiday sometime to relax so long as we aren't talking about somewhere like Agralia which is dangerous. I would have thought the odd civil war would be going on in those places at some point too"
Hayate laughed nodding his head "Oh yeah I know how funny names can be around there though they would argue your names are kinda funny sounding. Not that they are of course since Elmose isn''t that bad a middle name but... your name rhymes so would amuse some people" he pointed out patting his hat now modelled by Zadina.

Itaka sighed "Well it's not that I don't mind people knowing my age....it's that I don't like telling the story of how I got that age, it's not pleasant" he said sadly "Besides I came from a time after the demon war, quickly learned to shut up about the fact demons experimented on me" he said
Mari calmly parried all the blows before countering with a knock on the side of the head from the blunter side of her blade before jumping back slightly to have some more room. "Mari's certainly doing well!" Zadina said happily "And I think Elmose is quite a nice name but shush don't be mocking my name Mr Hayate that's mean!" he said
Gil frowned pondering "I probably have about 300k in gil not including Milly's diamonds but if you want a nice holiday should come with me to one of the cities indebted to me" he chuckled "They'd treat us like royalty for sure, could go to goug....you could play with moogle babies" he said with a smirk

Seph shrugged patting his shoulder "Well you can always say you don't want to discuss that bit and most people wouldn't push you for more info. Besides, with company like ours I highly doubt anyone will be all that fussed about the demon thing. I actually think in a way the outcome is pretty good" she smiled landing in the small space beween him and Chobi's neck.
Hebal giggled poking Zadina's arm playfully "Well the rhyming name bit is a little cute you must admit. Though I wouldn't go as far as to say amusing" she answered watching the paladin shake off the pain from the blow and move back a little to tke up a more defensive stance. "I wonder what it feels like fighting in an arena filled with so many people... I know I would be so nervous about messing something up"

But at least theres no chance your going to run out of cash while travelling around with us. Though they would be treating you like royalty, as soon as your back is turned they won't be too fussed about me" she chuckled stroking his arm
Hayate smirked readjusting his replacement hat away from his eyes "I know I know Zadina, the point was that everyones name will sound kinda strange and funny to somebody else in the world. But I guess people fall into the category of either loving being cheered on to do what they like best or they are stressed out by the presence of an audience"

Gil chuckled "Nah moogles don't have that sorta snootyness least I don't think so your just being paranoid" he said kissing Satoshi "We can book us an airship there sometime if you want a nice holiday, can see all their technology and the palace" he said.
Zadina blushed "I suppose some might say it's cute but I find it a little embarrassing" he said "I haven't ever dueled in front of that many people before but I needed to perform magic in front of four judges before I would be allowed to perform magic outside the academy" he said watching Mari settle in for a defensive game sword sheathed ready to parry with lightning speed if she had to.
Itaka shrugged "So what I tell them I'll live the same as you without explaining why? They'll never let it lie, especially if Felina and the like go asking how I did it besides it's nothing I'm proud of" he sighed sadly wrapping his arms around Seph letting her take the reins.

Seph scratched her head only keeping a gentle hold on the reins with her other hand "Heh suppose so but ok ok I won't mention it to anyone, not even Alpha. Though for the record due to our slight physical age difference, theres a chance I'll live a good 20 years maybe longer than yourself not that it bothers me all that much" she explained once she had done roughly the maths "Oh well not to worry, I'll ust have to convince you it was well worth sticking around three to four times longer than you should have already" she added more optimistically.
Hebal yawned seeing Zeath was playing by a similar strategy "This is gonna be a slow match if this keeps up and might go to the judges not that I know how they would decide. Can't understand why anyone would especially like this for fun since so many folk get hurt and stuff" she mumbled ignoring her twitching ears "What kinda magic did you guys have to perform, did you need to as well Hayate?"

Satoshi laughed shaking her head slightly "To hell with the technology, no offence if it interests you... but the moogles are so the best part of skycities like that but it is you that they owe stuff to not me so I'll probably just get the normal treatment not that theres anything wrong with it for I am not exactly a princess or anything" she shrugged poking her pet snake "But tell me, is the palace as fancy as Felina's then?"
Hayate shook his head partly wondering the same as Hebal regarding the sport "Nah I didn't have to do a thing like that. Guess they thought I couldnt do that much magical bother only being a red mage and all. Either that or having one of your foster parents running the whole academy had more advantages than I realised"

Gil shook his head "I'm sure they'd love you too, they'd want to show their gratitude and not offend their hero so mistreating you would offend me" he chuckled stroking his chin in thought "Still the palace is different....it's got some glamourous features like any palace but few palaces had towers that turn into rockets" he laughed.
Zadina folded his arms "Well....it changes for what kind of magical job you want but I had to display advanced black and white magic of the ga levels" he said thinking about his exam while Mari sighed seeing Zeath still didn't want to attack before hopping back and unsheathing her sword with lightning speed she sent shockwaves at her opponent.
Itaka laughed "Just means you'll need to be old and lonely while I won't get any of that" he said nuzzling Seph "You make every extra day I'm alive worthwhile so don't worry you don't need to convince me of anything" he said

Seph couldn't help but laugh slightly as she twisted her body around on the chocobo "You know... this is going to sound horrible but that line sounds so corny when you say it but I'm glad you feel that way. I can always turn into a crazy chocobo lady if it really gets that lonely in that short period of time so no need to worry about that either" she joked nuzzling him.
Hebal frowned poking Hayate's arm "Hey no fair, you should have taken the mega hard exams just like Zadina! I bet curaga is gonna be a mega useful ability in future but my blue magic could totally give all your stuff a run for its money" she boasted proudly while bouncing up and down slightly seeing Zeath leap over the shockwaves towards Mari with her sword now glowing white as her blade clashed with her opponants.

Satoshi shuddered a little attempting to imagine the building "Umm ok... I suppose it sounds interesting if a little weird though doesn't sound like it will look as pretty as the elf palace. Where do the rockets go anyway? And have you had the pirvelage of staying in there since your such a great hero and all?" she added teasing slightly.
Hayate groaned gently removing Hebal's hand from his arm "Hey stop that, it totally is fair. We have completely different jobs, would be impossibly unfair to demand I show everyone how to do an aga spell because its not in the range of magic red mages do. Besides nobody doubrs the fact your blue magic isn't useful"

Gil nodded "It's built into the stone work as an escape pod for the royalty should the castle come under attack, the stone coverings fall away and woosh the thing rips from the castle, it's not pretty but it's not exactly designed for multiple use, besides the moogles like building" he shrugged "But yeah they are very hospitable you should see the cannons they have" he chuckled.
Zadina nodded "There's different expectations for different levels, standard mages only need to cast some of the most basic spells to be allowed to perform in public" he said "Though if people in the academy train awesomely they can get a fasttrack into a good position in the army" he said happily watching the fight. Mari raised her sheathed sword blocking Zeath's blow with the sheathe before sliding around her opponent 45 degrees drawing her sword lightning fast and striking a solid blow on her opponent's stomach to send her flying back the way she came before sheathing her sword again.
Itaka shrugged off the 'corny' remark "Sure name one after me for fun though but we'll be happy very happy with our little chocobo empire" he chuckled "Though maybe a bit early to be planning for the future, not like we're married or anything" he said nuzzling Seph before focusing on steering Chobi
