She blusehd a bit and purred sofltyin responce smiling at him a bit.
"Yes Sir.. healing magic.. though.. i can't controll it very well. And it's increased a little bit since i had some accident with magic.. but i'm not bothere by it anymore" she said soflty to him astill amazed at him. The grey.. the wrinkles.. the way his fur seeme dto shift this way and that.. It was just.. old.
"But the flow.. when i try to use it.. it ebbs and rises with out my being able to make it stay stedy " she told him. She hoped he could help

Drea nodded, then sighed, rubbing his lower back. "Here... let us sit, nyu. My bones are weary..." Carefully, taking one of her hands in his, he hobbled over to the couch and sat, hopefully brining her with him. "Now then." he murmured with a sigh, ears twitching again, his tail giving a slight flick before wrapping about his own waist. "Some fool hume may have tried to block your magic when you were young... it happens. You are a half-blood, yes?"

Ukaia nodded a bit
"As far as i can tell. my mother was a full neko demon, my father human" she said as she followe dhim. she sat down next to him. then pulled a blanekt over his lap in a offering way smiling at him a bit. She was just still so amazed at his age.
She'd just never expected to see a neko this age. She smield at him
"I don't know. I know how they removed my ability to have kittens" she said quietly

Drea looked down at the blanket in his lap then chuckled, carefully arranging it to cover his legs. "Thank you child. That was very considerate, and..." he blinked, head tilting to one side, ears going back. "Removed your... oh dear. I'm very sorry for that, young one." he murmured, reaching out to pat her hand. "I cannot help that, but... we will help you control your magic, yes? And you will be a better pupil than that silly lizard was." he added, a mischievous twinkle in his eyes as he nodded toward the kitchen - and, more to the point, Vincent.

"I had a couple owner who were closer to your age.." she said quietly
"THey liked it on there laps also. So you're welcome. And it's ok. Vincent and i.. we've decided to adopt.. children from the slave places. So they don't have to go though it" seh said quietly to him
THen she smield brightly and nodded purring
"yes please,i would love to learn how to cotnroll my magic.. iw ant to help" she said soflty to him. THen she looked at the kitchen
"Lizard?" she said puzzled

"Dragons are merely overgrown lizards with an amazing capacity for arrogance." he informed her succinctly, knowing that Vincent could hear every word. "And that one didn't have a single healing instinct in his body. You... you do. So we'll work on it, once, maybe twice a week. That's all I'll be able to manage, I'm afraid. But I'll be giving you homework." he warned.

"I'm used to traning on my own even" she said to him her tail flicking a bit.
"I will try hard not to dissapoint you" she added soflty
"Thank you for aking the time to do this.. I've wanted very much to learn, and vincent wa snice enough to ask you.. Even if he used that bad smoke to call to you

Drealan smiled and took her hand in his. "You won't disappoint me, my dear." he told her kindly, tone warm. "I'm sure you'll be an excellent student. Now. Shall we try a simple exercise that you can do even with out me? It'll help you prepare for our first lesson."

"Now, close your eyes and feel for your magic, then envision it as a light; yours will probably flicker a lot, since you mentioned an ebb and flow. All I want you to do is keep that light steady for as long as you can picture it in your mind. Try it."

Obidently she closed her eyes. Picture the magic? She had never tried that. She shighed sofltyand thought. How did it look.
In her mind she saw a small flame.. it did flicker a lot.. nearly going out but never quite dying. a soft silvery blue color. She wondered why she would pick that color.
"Ic an see it" she murmmued osflty.She tried to focus on it.. tried to holdit stedy but she had no controll. She frowed a bit as she tried harder
"It's..like i can't touch it.." seh said soflty to him trying to describ the feeling

Drea frowned, wondering if his initial thought was right. "Does it feel muffled?" he asked, one ear flicking back and forth. "Like... someone placed a wall between you and it that you can't cross?"

"Ah. Well then." Drea sighed, then shook his head. "The hume's... they did try to suppress it. That you can touch it at all means you're raw talent is really quite strong, nyu. I can't fix it tonight... I will come back within the next week to do so, alright?" he smiled, then reached up one gnarled and age-spotted hand to rub one of her ears. "You will be a wonderful last student." he murmured fondly.
