Khalid shifted his weight to his other foot, looking at the demon. He had a slightly glazed look on his face, as though he was utterly out of it. He had no response for Luci, feeling no need to say anything.

"Well" Luci leaned down giving khalid s peck on the lips "Have fun" he said before heading down the halls. Luci's lips tasted like death itself.

Khalid watched after Luci as he left, wondering if he should have done something. He was overcome with a powerful urge to have sex with the demon, though he couldn't explain why. He was sorely tempted to follow after Luci, but another voice, calling his name, made him turn. "Khalid!" Ryou, after sulking and moping around the mansion a little bit, had decided to come to the hospital, to make sure everything was going okay with Ember. He had brought Kai along, and was greatly relieved to see his husband there, even if Khalid was the one who started this. The whitenette ran to Khalid, hastily setting Kai down and throwing his arms around the violet-haired immortal almost at once. "I didn't know where you had gone. Why are you here? Are the others here too? Is Ember okay?"

Kai hid behind ryou. Khalid had frightened him tearably and kai wanted to go knowere near him.
Luci had soon made it to embers room. With an evil little smirk on his face he looked over her "My my you look awful" he told the unconsious ember.

Atem, who was in Ember's room, jumped when he heard a voice. He whipped around, narrowing his eyes at the intruder. "Khalid?" He asked, taken back by the stranger's appearance. Almost instantly he saw that it wasn't Khalid, though he looked close. A stranger was a stranger, though, and that might be worse that Khalid. "What do you want?" Khalid reassured Ryou that everything was fine, or might be. A lot of what he said was lies, but he needed to calm him for now. He was glad Ryou hadn't seen Luci, or he would be panicked. "Come on. It's getting late, and we shouldn't linger too long." Khalid said, worried that the demon might try to do something to Ryou. Ryou looked a little doubtful, but nodded and turned away from Khalid, bending down and scooping his son up. "I'm coming back here tomorrow, unless I can talk to Yugi or Atem. I need to make sure you're not lying to me about any of this."

Luci laughed "you must be atem. Im lucky I study up on my souls...you are an interesting group." He walked to the other side of ember running a finger down her cheak "She's lovely...it's too bad...bad thinks always happen to the pretty ones...."

"Don't touch her!" Atem snapped, his rage getting the better of him. Once upon a time, Atem had been good at controlling his anger. "Who are you?" He demanded again, feeling uneasy at the way this stranger was talking. "Yugi and Kawi are here, you know. You want to go see them now?" Khalid asked, holding his hands out to offer to take Kai. Ryou hesitated, then nodded, holding Kai out for Khalid.

"So....What would do....To save her..." luci asked looking up to him with a smirk. "If you truly love her you would do anything to save her wouldent you?"
Kai whined and whimpered clinging tight to his father "no no lid!" he said wanting to stay with ryou.

Atem was on guard because the stranger continued to avoid his questions. He decided to play along, for now, but was still conscious. "I suppose I would. I'm just a spirit, so it's not as though I can offer much." Ryou was confused and held Kai close, glaring at Khalid suspiciously. Khalid seemed equally as confused, and Ryou decided against getting angry at him, right then. "It's okay, Kai. I'll just hold you." He said, then sighed. "So, Khalid, do you know where Yugi and Kawi are?"

Luci smirked "Ah thats just it spirit. Since it is ovious this pretty little thing is dying...I say...would you trade your soul for hers...It does mean you would die right away..you would continue to live on and on...far outliving her human soul....but bodys do decay after a while...your not imortal after all..."
Kai nuzzled into his fathers chest.
Kawi came into the waitroom dressed in her normal clothes holding yugi's hand. seeing ryou and kai she squeeked "kai your ok!" she took kai from ryou and spun him around happly hugging him.
