The scoop on Baby-Ree's hospital stay: A few hours after he was born, he started getting really jittery. They tested his blood-sugar, and it turned out he was hypoglycemic (low blood-sugar). They couldn't bring it back up by just giving him sugar-water, so they had to put him on an IV to keep his levels up while his body figured out how to stabilize itself. Once it was stable, they weaned him off the IV over a day or two, then watched him for 24 hours without it, then let him go home.
He had to have his heel pricked with a needle every 6-12 hours to test the blood-sugars, so the "swiss-cheese heels" comment is referring to all the little tiny holes it left. He also had to have blood-work done, separate from the sugar-testing, so that was even more pricking. Then on the last day, they had to re-do this horrible blood test TWICE because it kept getting messed up, so he ended up with big bruises and band-aids on his arms.
He's such a little trooper though -- he never cried when they pricked his heel; only when they kept him there too long taking blood for his lab-work.

*mwees over Kimi and tickles little baby toes*
I miss having babies around...it must be a girl thing. It's great to know that both you and Ree are flourishing. Before you know it, he'll be running around and getting into everything, and the real fun starts!

I would have been nervous through the whole ordeal if my baby had to go through ANY tests. I'll continue to pray for both your and your baby's health. heart

Taylor_Highwind: She is, but my FTP died before I could upload updates. I'll try again tonight.
LadyDelaidra: That's the "Wall Market" version of Cloud. X3 He's on the list.
Kimini: *relives Jaundiced Jonathan labwork nightmares* T__T I admire your spinal fortitude in being able to talk (type?) about it without breaking down.

BTW, Meri, in your order list, you referred to 3 of the guys from AC as Silver Haired Enemy I, II, and III. Their names are actually Kadaj, Loz, and Yazoo. 3nodding

Oh boy I've heard enough about those three in the FFVII guild.
Oh Meri I have a question. (again)
You remember the Windy Wig Base edit you made for me? Would I be allowed to make one like that but with a different mouth? I wouldn't use it for anyone else...just for you and Kimi. If not I understand, and I'll just have you make me one in the future. sweatdrop
It's because I want different bases of mine to be with different mouths and stuff but without re-purchasing the wig. sweatdrop
