As long as the people knew it was coming, it wouldn't be hard. Just break a window in when you're done.

Breaking windows is not an option. Not where I'm thinking of.

Make sure nobody is looking and kick the door in? Pick the lock with a light bulb filament?

Lol. Yea pick the lock I guess. I think property damage is too risky. What if the insurance decides to not cover it? Thems tricky bastards.

Yeah, but if the lock is picked making it look like a legit break in might be hard xD Real thieves don't care about your property.

A thief is not a rapist, dude. Most thieves would run if they encountered another person in the house for fear of being caught or fear of personal injury. At most they'd attempt to attack and injure the other person but that doesn't automatically mean they're going to rape anything that moves.
Most true rapists are sociopaths who couldn't give two shits about the persons possessions, or date rapists who are hoping that the incident never gets reported, and again, don't give two shits about the persons possessions because they're masquerading as a suitor and pressuring them into it or using drugs to subdue them.

A lot of crimes don't go hand in hand, like Daypaw said.
And a thief that actually wants to mess up your home means its personal or they're not right in the head. Why would a stranger care about the state of your things? At most, they'd just want to find the valuables as quick as possible and get out.

Thieves make messes to find documents / credit cards / jewelery / hidden money stashes and whatnot, it's not like they go in thinking 'I'm going to ******** this persons house up while I'm at it just to make sure they know I was here.' A lot of quick burglaries DO end up with messes but it's nothing personal against the owner and it's usually localized to the area that the thief was searching and unless something got broken it just requires some straightening up and sorting.
