Atem sighed, then nodded. That was understandable. "What's her room number?" Yugi popped his head into Kawi's room. "Heya there, Kawi!" He said cheerfully.

Atem thanked the doctor, and headed towards the room he named. "Everything went well, if I heard correctly. The baby was even saved, I think." Yugi said, frowning a bit at how the doctor had told him. He couldn't understand much through the doctor's terrible grammar.

Ember was in a quiet ICU. She saw very pale and was hookred up to alot of moniters,wires and IVS

"Yep." Yugi said, for lack of anything better to say. Atem sighed when he saw Ember, after arriving at the room. This was all caused by Khalid. Atem knew he would have to find a way to kill the man if Ember didn't make it. Atem moved over next to Ember, wanting to take a hold of her hand. Maybe this was for the best, though. He wasn't going to age, and it would be less painful if their relationship was cut off short instead of drawn out cruelly.

A soft chuckle came from a man who sat beside khalid "boo" luci said.

"Can I help with that at all?" Yugi asked, clearly joking. Khalid jumped slightly, looking over. He seemed surprised to see the demon. "You? Why are you here?"

"Ah, okay." Yugi said, nodding understandingly. "You collect souls?" Khalid asked, arching an eyebrow. In exchange for his own immortality and powers, he got souls for Vadin. Every now and then he would have to get a nice soul for Vadin to toy with, like Ryou, but he needed to get other souls as well. He thought that someone like Luci would have somebody to collect them for him.

"Well, have fun with that." Khalid said, still intrigued by his almost twin. He couldn't help his next question. "Have you had sexual relations with other demons?" He had Vadin in mind; he had wondered before why Vadin chose him when he did, and wondered if this demon might have some influence.

Khalid had to laugh at the audacity of his question. "No. Gods, no. I can even remember when I was..." He ran a hand through his hair, sighing. He had been a virgin only in his mortal life, and that was thousands of years ago.

"It would be, wouldn't it?" Khalid said, looking thoughtful. He looked over at Luci, wondering for a moment what it would be like to be with him. Wouldn't it be strange to sleep with someone who looked so much like himself? Maybe that was why Bakura was so attracted to Ryou.
