Kain stand's in an endless room only able to see a few feet around him. Piercing eyes look at him through darkness. a familiar tone fills the area, "Heretic why did you stop. Why where you so ready to stop, for this girl.". Kain had been listening to this voice for now days, always judging him, yet Kain would never respond. "WHY!?!, you where doing so well for your own chant." "You keep saying i did well, what did i do wrong though, hmm?". the eyes widen at the finally responding. "You know not enough of the dark gods you called upon. Once you learn everything about them than you will unlock what your worth." "worth? that's a peculiar word to use." "Heretic once you prove what your worth than, and only than you can be who you actually are." "who I am? You leave me with more questions than answers. Who are you?!!!!!!!!" Kain screaming the darkness flows closer. Soon the eyes lose glow and fade away from him, or is he moving away. No it is Kain is falling. Falling further and farther. the feeling of weightlessness infects his body. Than he slams to the ground, shattering pain runs up his back. a unbearable break and snap of his back can be felt and heard. He lets a huge scream. Purple lightning flash around him, purple cracks form in the air. tears form in his eyes. the pain is too much. Why is this happening?

The pain... its gone.

Kain is still lying down but he feels more comfortable. warmth of two push on his side, with a feeling of a small cold feeling on his chest. his eyelids are heavy and difficult to open. Kain can't move anything, as if he where a corpse. Estelle is on his chest looking right at him wide eyed, she seems to be unable to comprehend what she see's. the little spider eyes dart probably unable of what to do, when she springs off of his chest and runs out the slightly open door of Kain's room.

Estelle's little legs move as fast as they can running, running for Kairi. the hallways are chapels in her eyes, everything is enormous to the tiny bug. dodging the trampling feet of the walking titans, she finally finds Kairi. Estelle jumps up onto the head of the couch and starts chattering at Kairi furiously

Feeling a few years of her own build up in her eyes at Kairi's comment, Leslie hugged the arm that was stroking her hair before finally answering. "I know I am, but it was a stupid decision after I thought you abandoned me. I was so used to you being around to keep me safe that when you left without warning, I just...broke. I tried to be more like you, I eliminated anything that could remind me of you, and I did my best to become all about the business. And I hated every minute of it, but I did it because I thought it would hurt more to have to deal with you not being here..." Trailing off slightly as her sickness induced melancholia drove her to explain her every stupid reaction, the blueberry began to just simply cry into her sister's arm and curl up around the arm, doing her best to make sure Kairi would never go missing again.

Hearing her sister's story, Kairi could feel all the guilt rushing deep into her heart. "I understand Leslie... And I'm sorry for not being here for you for so long. Some things came up that called me away. I'm sorry for making you feel abandoned. That was the last thing I wanted..." the redhead's voice trailed off, and she could feel the tears that were rolling down her cheeks. She continued to stroke the younger girl's blue hair, hoping to calm her, since she knew there was nothing she could say that would make up for what she had done. There was silence for a few moments, and then there appeared to be a tiny thudding noise. Kairi turned her head and looked down, seeing Kain's Spinarak sitting on a book. The redhead leaned toward it, grabbing it without disentangling herself from her sister's grasp. She held the book in one hand, giving Estelle an odd look before she opened it. A myriad of things filled the pages, which Kairi flipped through quickly, and she wondered why the tiny bug had brought this to her. She flipped one last page, and skimmed through, spotting her name. Her eye widened in shock, and she found herself reading more and more, and she could feel the blush that was by now covering her face. When she was done, she put the book back down, closing it. She said nothing, too embarrassed over the fact that the color of her face now matched her hair. Reading what she had, she felt so confused. About her feelings mostly, since she wasn't used to feeling so much. However, these feelings did strike something in her. ...She was going to have to find Reno later. She needed to speak with him. For nor though, she would continue to sit with her sister.

Estelle looks confused at the blushing girl, why did she not see Kain's formula? when the booklet was set down next her, Estelle raced through the pages looking for the formula. finding it the spider looks back at the girl stomping her front legs on the page with all force. Estelle did wonder though what the girl saw to make her blush.

Looking up at Kairi and nodding slightly, Leslie soon took to laying on her side and having her eyes flutter shut. "G'night Kaiwi. I wuv you." The little girl mumbled through her lips, the lisp becoming even more pronounced with this new unique manner of vocalizing it. Passing out on the spot, the little girl would begin to dream of cutesy things and of her sister now by her side again.

Reno's journey through Johto would now carry him over a more heavily forested area before he passed through a tower that seemed to appear out of nowhere, flying through the windows and popping out the other side. Realizing he had just flew through the Sprout Tower, Reno delivered a swift kick to Tesei to send them flying right back through, this time to the shouting of angered monks who were prepared to attack.

Kairi smiled a little bit, and put a hand to Leslie's head for a moment. "I love you too Leslie.. Sweet dreams," she finally said, lifting her hand again. She looked to Estelle, and then back to the book, noticing that the Spinarak was pointing to Kain's name. Her eyebrows furrowed for a moment. "You want me to check on Kain?" she asked as she stood from her seat on the bed, walking out of the room. She looked down at the book in her hand again, looking at the page for the formula that could help Leslie once again. Her eyes shut tightly as she thought for a moment, and absent-mindedly, she began stroking Estelle's back, like she usually did with her own Spinarak, Azoth. "I know you're worried about your trainer, but, if he needed me right this second, I'm sure Sylar would have come and gotten me. I just need to get this made for my sister first," she said, still clutching the book tightly in one hand.

The redheaded girl would head down the stairs, heading toward the kitchen. Once there, she gathered up the things she needed and set to work. It didn't take too terribly long, although Kairi was a little confused as to the inclusion of Pecha berries, which typically only worked on Pokemon. She supposed it made sense though, being that the berries could cure poison effects. Once finished, she carried the mixture back up to Leslie's room, leaving the mixture on the side table with a note. The note would read: Drink this when you wake up Leslie. It should help with the poison. I'll come back to check on you later. Love, Kairi

Kairi left her sister's room then, heading up to check on Kain now. As she walked up another set of stairs, Kairi couldn't help but think that she felt a little like nurse, taking care of these two. If it were anyone else, she probably would have felt a little odd, taking care of the two of them. She would have done the same thing for Reno if he were hurt though. Living on the streets on her own taught Kairi a lot of things, including how to tend to various wounds. The door to Kain's room was still slightly open, which was unsurprising, since Sylar had needed to get in earlier. The Scyther sat on the floor, a short distance away from the bed, staring at Kain intently. Kairi looked over to the bed, seeing the two other Pokemon currently curled up beside their trainer. Not moving from her position from the doorway, Kairi smiled. "How are you feeling there?" she asked, still smiling, though her eye showed a hint of concern. However, Kairi had not noticed that her Houndour was still out of its Pokeball, not until the little one had propped its paws up on the edge of the bed and leaped up, climbing onto Kain's chest and licking his face. Kairi's face went blank, and she rushed into the room grabbing a hold of Tetra. A flush of red appeared on her face, and Kairi almost looked... embarrassed. "I'm so sorry about that! I'm sure you don't need Tetra climbing all over you right now..." she said, trying to hide her face in her hair.

At first, Kairi was confused as to why Kain was turning away from her, but, seeing the blush on his face, she remembered what happened before he had passed out, and it caused her to blush again as well. She sat herself down beside him carefully, one hand laying gently on his chest. Looking so deeply into the boy's eyes, she felt herself wanting to relive that moment from before She just wanted to know how it would feel... She barely heard what was being said, and in any case, Kain's words were cut short by Kairi's lips pressing to his. She just wanted to know why a kiss from him felt so natural to her. She did it without thinking really, kissing Kain in his current state made her feel as though she was taking advantage of him, but, she wanted to kiss him so badly. The redhead wasn't really sure why. Maybe part of it was because of before. Or maybe after reading Kain's feelings for her, she realized that she felt the same, and she wanted to show that. Either way, once she started thinking straight again... Kairi would not be a happy camper. Though, that would not be until later. For now, she enjoyed the moment.

"Well that was way too easy, little one." Sub said with a smirk as he eyed the shiny Zorua. "It's a shame I never got my hands on you, claiming you for myself, I would have you evolved by now and instilling fear in the masses." The Dark Channeler said with a sigh, and then a shrug. "Alas, fate did not choose me. Little one, could you do me a favor if I had my bird release you? I want you to help my water loving friend here make this place look like the inside of the Mahogany Gym."

With that, he took out his SNAG and pressed a few buttons on it, pulling pictures up of the inside of the gym to show the Pokemon. "I can show you pictures of what it looks like. You can then use your illusion powers to make this room look just like it. Lykas over there will provide the cold atmosphere, you just need to provide the illusion. If you help me, I have a cache of Colbur Berries grown inside of the darkest recesses of the Dark Cave, Nevermore likes them way better than the ones grown in the sun." As he promised the berries, Nevermore squawked angry, not wanting to share her precious berries, and in her anger, released the Zorua. "Calm down girl! I can get you more, dang..." He sighed.
