Tough one.....
overall...no. Both are amazing series I believe. but If I have to buy one, its FLCL hands down.
I have to confess...I can't stand Naruto...

I'd have to agree, but it is a close second to it's insanity. I think Naruto is ok, but meh, not nearly as good as what they could be showing.

There's only room for one ridiculously long anime to love too much. And I already have Dragon Ball! THANK YOU! I just happen to make room for Inuyasha and Bleach.
Every episode of Naruto I've seen just bores me to tears. It doesn't even have a character I like...THUS I cannot watch.

Yes really. as I got older I think I preferred reading them instead. Because it kinda got ridiculous watching 15 episodes of powering up.

I just thought that Dragon Ball Z was overated, the original was great, but they just threw that out for plot devices.
