"I don't need your pity." Shiori bit her lip, avoiding his glance for a moment. "I'll be fine."
She eventually peered up at him, her eyes shifting to a pale green. "Daijoubuka Aled-kun?"
Maybe he wouldn't respond to -san...

Yuki frowned. "Acidic properties?? That certainly isn't Tarnbjin, is it..?"
She placed a drop on the slide, quickly preparing it under the microscope with her back turned to the man. "Either way, thank goodness he's gone.."

"Here's what I'm worried about." Yuki spoke quietly, glancing back to Watari. She'd been peering through the microscope. "Doesn't this sorta remind you of when a wound regenerates cells to heal itself? Look at how quick they're dividing.."
And dying. They died much, much faster than normal cells.
"Everything's accelerated..."

Shiori tilted her head, allowing him into her room as she went through her clothes. "Doushite?" she asked quietly, tilting her head. "Why would you be angry?"

Shiori crept up behind the Ou, wrapping her arms around his waist. "Don't be angry." she leaned her head against his back. "If he would've told you, Aoki would've killed us in our sleep. He had good reason not to."
True, she still needed to get dressed, so this was just a touch awkward...
Well, for her at least, blushing deeply.
She didn't like to see Aled sulk.

Yuki blinked. "Well... if he's a clone... a clone of who? Himself, or... was he, himself, a clone of someone else?"

Shiori gently spun Aled around, looking up at him shyly. "He saved your life." she reminded, taking some of his hair in her hands and stroking it with her thumbs. "Saved me, Yuki-chan... He hasn't betrayed you at all, Aled-kun."

Yuki frowned. "Almost makes you wonder how long he's been with Konton, doesn't it?" she mused quietly. "What if this isn't even Tarnbjin DNA?"

Shiori smiled warmly, hand moving to stroke his cheek. "People can surprise us when we least expect it, can't they...?"
But what she did next surprised even her--well, to a point.
She stood up on her tiptoes, taking Aled's cheek in her hand as she kissed him.

Yuki nodded. "I doubt you'll come up with anything." she answered honestly. "From what I seem to remember, the most anyone knows is he came from the country. Nothing about family... I wonder if he's a demon? Would explain why he turns to acid instead of maintaining a material form..."

Yuki lingered by Watari, watching Hapushi closely.
How the hell did she do that??

"Would certainly explain a lot." she agreed quietly. "Why he was able to convince Aled he was worth keeping alive... I'm amazed, honestly... What do we do?? A holy weapon would be handy..."

Shiori blushed, looking down. "Well.. I decided to have a little faith I suppose. I very nearly was alone again. You're the first person to even consider me as more than a one night stand in a long, long time..."

Shiori smiled, shyly glancing to her feet. "I don't doubt you'll keep me safe." she murmured, looking up to kiss him deeply.
She couldn't help but enjoy the Ou's company---she didn't even really think about him as such. It wasn't hard to get slightly intoxicated in the company of another person...
In truth, it was almost overwhelming, but not in a bad way.
"I think I'm getting sorta fond of you." she murmured softly after they parted, blushing deeply.
The last kiss had definitely been more passionate than either of them had expected.


Yuki nodded. "Hai, hai, Kazu-kun..." she murmured, thinking deeply. "Perhaps we can find something out from him too. Doesn't he have an uncanny sixth sense?"
