Asmondai Daypaw They're not bad if you like RPG games. VIII wasn't great, but I absolutely loved IX and VII, and XII. XIII felt REALLY short to me but I liked the characters. Legend of Dragoon is made in a similar play format- also a good older one. There are some great games in the Suikoden series, as well- but those are less strictly RPG games and throw in some strategy elements as well. They tend to take forever to get through though, I think I logged something close to 200 hours on my first play through of Suikoden 3 and didn't even get the bonus content after the main game because I hadn't kept everyone alive. I see. surprised You mostly mean eastern-rpg´s, I´m more into western-rpg´s like Baldru´s Gate and Dragon Ages. smile But I do have few eastern ones like Star Ocean and Lost Odyssey.I tried playing one of the Star Ocean games and lost interest in it sweatdrop There was exactly one character in the entire game that I found interesting, and that was Albel. I think the only thing I've played recently that could be considered 'western RPG' is Skyrim.

Skyrim´s a pretty good game, althou the so called "freedom in character making" is a tad lie. sweatdrop Game seems to rely too much on a more sneaky character-build then anything else.

I had a build to get away with it, though- I was using heavy armor and a warhammer. I stole everything that wasn't bolted down (literally, everything- food stores, pick axes, shovels, all that random next-to-worthless s**t lying around) and built up a small fortune early on so I had the funds to craft decent armor early even though I was often overburdened and slower than tar getting out of dungeons.

I was a freaking tank by the time I finished D: The thing about the warhammer is, though, you pretty much NEED the heavy armor because it leaves you more open to attack- but there is not an enemy in the game that I can't kill in one hit other than maybe the high tier dragons, so it doesn't matter. I cleared all of the dungeons to get the masks and to get the shouts super fast because I just ran through the rooms and smashed s**t. Other than smithing, the other thing that I put a lot of effort into was my enchanting skill- so I had bracers that increased the effectiveness of my warhammers, and enchantments that made my armor better, etc. I can double enchant anything I own so the benefits pile up pretty damn quick, especially when you throw in rings and necklaces.

He regenerates pretty quick and you get the sneak bonus every time- so it adds up pretty damn fast :3
