WhiteJoker Sooo... what are you guys wanting to do? Sorry for the brain-deadness but it's been a long day and I have to clean out AMC since nobody else really cares to. sweatdrop stressed Poor masked mod. Justice does not come cheap.

Ok, we got it into our heads to get an assload of stuff together and begin a prize frenzy in the Welcome forum. When I first went in, I checked the rules of the forum and it says that oldbies aren't supposed to open threads in there (which is clearly counteracted by stuff like the welcome to gaia bar). We wanted to know if it would be ok to start a thread in there for an hour or two and chat/give out prizes to the new people..
I PMed Sandokiri about an hour ago (I think it was that long) since there were NO dedicated mods for the Welcome forum on...
Never got an answer.
Can we?

It sounds more like something that would belong in Charity. neutral

Zelyhon But then it'll get vulched, which kinda defeats the purpose. Well you're going to need a very compelling reason as to why you guys get to be an exception to the rule. Many of the exceptions in WtG are there either because they help cut down on spam, are guides, or were there before the rules came into effect and were large enough that they got the okay.

I am loved! heart I started that charity idea I PMed you about a few weeks ago, Mr. WJ! Except I opted for a thread in the United Forums of Gaia and I'll just ask around to other people if'n they're questing.

Instead we'd be trying to weed out the liars and mules. And fighting the beggars. And bumping against all the threads asking for charity. So we can't give stuff to the new users in a concerted manner... please pass down the line that this sucks a**. I could see how an organized and constant charity should be in the charity forum, but a simple gift raid gets shafted. I understand its not necesarilly the mods' faults, but it defeats the purpose of gathering the new users in one place to be helped by the oldbies if we can't really help them.

Well you're not going to get into trouble if you do so, it's just that if somebody notices it, it'll probably get moved to Charity. Granted, there are... three mods online at the moment?
