I was in this literate RP. Didn't last two long because they wanted this really fancy post style with a drawing of the character. Yeah. I'm lazy and didn't feel like formatting it.... sweatdrop

Now I actually get to USE my ADHD 12-year-old Matt who may take Baeli's place as my favorite OC to use.

Free clicker? Damn! My new chemistry professor wants us to get one. And it's a waste because I'll only BE here for one semester before switching to a philosophy major at a sister campus! Not to mention those $100 pricetags and new books!
Rented books... that sounds propitious!

I'm in the 7th grade, so, I don't have to buy textbooks. Heck, I don't even spend my own money on the books we buy for Reading or ELA!
I'M GOING TO BE SO HAPPY NEXT YEAR BECAUSE YOU DON'T TAKE READING IN 8TH GRADE!!!

What do you mean, you don't take Reading? There's a class for that? In my school, we read books in a regular English class... Also, why wouldn't they give you a literature class for 8th grade? Maybe it's just me, but I think literature is very important in High School, as some authors like Shakespeare bring up deep, moral issues and other things. Plus, I'd say it's good to know some literature for its own sake... But meh... this is me being an outraged bookworm.

Calm down, Nadi. >.>
As ridiculous as it sounds, the younger generation has trouble with literature. especially in TX, where English is slowly becoming a 2nd language. <-<

I don't think they give out literature classes (or literature based themes) till high school. I know when I was an 8th grade all we did was read novels and do grammar and spelling. We never really touched upon interpreting literature or what knot, and if we did, it was very little.
