((HA! I just realised a few things. A: Sorry. I just noticed how mean I sounded when I was telling you what you could do. B: No offence, but... YOU ALL SUCK! I DON'T KNOW WHEN SCHOOL STARTS FOR ME! And I'm getting my throught(sp?) 'ripped out' on the 20th. C: Lol, that was funny Ceil! Or was it Miki who gave that funny example? I can't remember, but it was funny.... even though it wasn't... if that makes sense. You get the point.))
Yuki sighed. "I wish the nurses would tell use who it is they shove in these rooms these days. Time for intros. I'm Yuki, this is Miki, she speaks little English and if i have to I will translate." she explained to the new girl.
(( I also tend to write more OOC than story.... dang. >.<))

Meryll watched her carefully, then replied. "The nurse doesn't know my name. That's why they didn't tell you." She explained in a soft voice. "My name is Meryll Kollins. Nice to meet you Yuki, though sorry to say the circumstances are rather unfortunate." She said and offered a small, shy smile. She then turned to Miki. "Miki." She got the girl's attention and smiled with a slight wave.

((Um, I don't know what to write...short post...)) Ciel stared out the window (not at anything particular) in deep thought. Her mind was foggy still and being in this room; it felt familiar...like it happened before...but when? She couldn't quite remember...
She away from the window and noticed Meryll "Hm...?"

Meryll greeted her, still using a soft voice. "Hello. I hope I'm not intruding on any of you. I can ask the nurse to move me if you would find it more comfortable." She offered and unconsciously rubbed her heavily bandaged arm.

Yuki nods.
((DARN THAT WAS THE SHORTEST EFFING POST I'VE EVER DONE! SOMEONE SHOOT ME!))
She looked down at Miki and stroaked her hair gently. "You still awake?" she asked quietly.
((Much better! =3 ))

For awhile, Miki had been rather quiet. She had waved in return in greeting to the new girl who was in the bed next to Ciel, but not much else was heard from her. She also noted that Ciel was quiet too; she seemed to be thinking really hard about something, but what?
Upon the question from Ms. Yuki, she nodded, curled up in the nice woman's lap a bit. She probably could fall asleep if she tried, though.
One of the nurses entered the room, holding what looked like to be a needle with something in it and a bandage, looking about as if looking for something in particular. Her eyes resting on Ms. Yuki and the girl, she greeted them. This woman was sort of young looking, and a bit hesitant, as if new on the job.
"Ah, sorry to disturb you; some note downstairs told me she'd be up here. Just wanted to give Miki her medication, since the other one's gonna wear out not too long from now.
Now come here sweetie, this won't take long and it doesn't hurt at-"
Upon seeing the woman's purpose for entering the room, as comfortable as she was in Ms. Yuki's lap, Miki bolted down from it in a sudden bold movement and had planned to run, but due to illness she sorta..........tripped and rolled, great if it had been a fire. Taking a normal child's approach to sharp shiny objects that were meant for her, she crawled under Ciel's bed all the way to the back, mumbling something in Japanese that was too muffled to hear, but the first part sounding alot like hte English "Nooononononono!" as she had dove for a hiding spot. Within the safety of blankted sheets blocking the view, she curled up into a ball and just sat there.
".....all. Oh dear. Well, I was told she was asleep last time we gave her medication, so that might explain alot." she said, but looked a bit worried as to how to get her out. Never taught that in training, and it probably wasn't her place to bug the patient.
((It was too quiet, and Miki was acting way too mature. XD))

Meryll felt badly for the young girl and carefully and quietly slid off the horrid hospital bed and crouched down next to the one Miki was under. Slowly lifting the sheets, she spotted the frightened girl and smiled gently. "Miki." She said to get her attention carefully.
She held her hand up as if it were a needle, then pointed to her and shook her head no. Her body language translating to, "We won't give you the needle." She then turned to the nurse. "Perhaps miss, it would be better to wait until she's sleeping." She offered to the young lady. Turning back to Miki, she gestured again.
She pointed to her, held out an arm, clasped her hands, and made an "X" in the air. She then punched her palm softly, so as not to alarm her, made interlocking circles wih her fingers and pointed to herself, which overall translated into, "Miki, come out please. Nothing will hurt you, trust me." She waited with worry on her face and hoped the small girl understood her.
((Yay, long post!))

"Ah...Miki? It's all right. You can come out now" she told her softly. Ciel turned enough to peek over the side of the bed. Miki's reaction wasn't surprising, in fact Ciel herself had done it tons of times when she was younger. She vaguely remembered something a nurse told her once...
"You'll catch cold by being on the floor...you don't want to become a yukidaruma(snowman) do you? The floor's probably freezing!" Ciel told Miki jokingly.
Ciel noticed Meryll make several symbols with her hands to Miki. Sign language? They made no sense to Ciel.

Yuki was shocked big time when Miki did this and walked over closer to the bed, but was still a good two feet away from it. "Miki, come out, the lady will come back later with different medicine that dose not have to poke you with a needle. I promise. But I don't think I need to tell you that you need more rest. Moving that fast is not good for you in your current condition, and I'm sure your feet hurt again, so please, come out from under the bed." she said, forcing herself to sound sad and poking her eyes to make them water.

Meryll nodded in agreement with the other girls and asked if she would come out again in her arm gestures. She looked up at Ciel.
"I did learn a tiny amount of Japanese in highschool, but not enough to communicate fluently. So I decided that maybe if I used easily transmitted gestures, she might understand what I'm asking. It's worth a shot." She said quietly.

Miki watched almost in curiousity as her sudden hiding seemed to set off something among the others. One of the girls, the one she wasn't familiar with, was using some sort of semi-understandable arm gestures (she could see all of them since the bedsheet had been lifted a bit. Ciel's was a bit more understandble; more of merely joking that the floor was cold and that'd she'd turn into a snowman if she stayed there.
It was Ms. Yuki's good points (and her strange pouty face) that made Miki look at her bandaged feet; though she had done more of a roll about, they still seemed a bit of hte slight-pain kind of restless now from the sudden movements. They had good points, but the other woman was still in the room, the nurse. It could all be a trick.
The nurse watched a bit confused, then sort of gave up and decided to ask the doctor what other ways the medicine could be taken. She never liked needles much herself anyways. She went back to the door and left the room, shutting the door behind her.
As Miki watched the shoes of the woman disappear from the room, she then got on her hands and knees again, crawling out from underneath Ciel's bed and stood up, looking at them all. "Sorry....." she muttered; she probably looked stupid, crawling about in her nightgown and such. But shiny pointy things seemed to be a bit of a pet peeve for her. Then again, her parents were killed by sharp pointy objects, so perhaps there was a loose connection.

((Hallo Adri! I'm the new person persay, lol!))
Meryll scooted back out of the way and smiled at the young and offered her a hand, knowing for sure she would know what that meant. She forgot that she probably couldn't understand and asked anyway. "Would you like some help up Miki?" She smiled gently at the girl, and put some weight on her injured arm, which she soon regretted and winced slightly.
