i smirked and jumped towards him. i gave a good thrust towards another vital point with the dagger. this time, i was aimed directly for his carotid artery. the one in his neck. he was still a little shaken up from my last attack so it was easier to go for the target. i was a foot away, inches, centemeters, and then. . . i disapeared from his view.

Although he was sad that his friend had died he knew that Sek would have rather died then let some some beast roam free. "well someone help me bury...." he sentance cut short when a beast attacked him. He had managed to jump out of its way.
"WHAT! i thought they were all dead?" he yelled.
he quickly looked over at the Hellmancers corpse....he was still dead....the creatures had died when the hellmancer did why are they now standing back up.
Togan:
he was glad she didnt stab him but annoyed that she was playing her tricks on him again.
"oh come on Gren thats not fair......what the hell is that" he said now staring at a gruesome looking creature. It had the body of a man....but he was covered in blood. partly wrapped in barbed chains it was clear it wasnt human.
"um gren ....um....you should probably reappear cause we have a problem." he said realizing more and more of them were coming through the forest.

normally i would have thought it was a trick. but i could sense it. i carefully rose out of the earth next to togan. incase the thing decided to attack, i had my daggers at the ready. "no need to say it twice"

the creature very soon lunged at them....it was clear they were hostile.
"oh s**t....Gren what do we do....theres heaps of them" He said jumping away from the creature.

"what do you think?" i sliced through the nearest creatures throat and watched it's head roll around on the ground. i didn't know what killed these things, but we were about to find out.

He decided she was right and quickly stabbed at the closest creature he could see. The creature let out a pityful whelp as it fell to the ground.
"there slow....not hard to kill" he said
"the problem is ....theres...one..two...at least 15 of them"

"doesn't matter" i replied quickly and dodged an attack. "kill as many as you can" it was clear that a simple stab to the vitals would do these things in. the next few that came at me were lying dead in seconds.

he nodded and continued attacking.
he had managed to kill 3 of them. he figured that as long as he didnt let them get behind him he was fine. They were pretty slow and so didnt pose a great threat to someone quick enough to get out of there way.

i continued my awray of multiple stabs, watching them fall dead to the ground. they weren't very challenging. i wasn't even out of breath yet. "7. how many have you gotten?"

he couldnt help but feel like he was hopeless at this. She had killed 7 already and he had only killed 3. "only 3...wait no 4" he said as he stabbed another creature in the face. he could sense somehting behind him so he jumped forward and spun around. Luckily thanks to the training he had sensed the beast behind him before it could attack him.
he realized then that there were alot more then a few left. "Gren...i think more of them have shown up"

"what fun" i replied sarcastically before leaping toward the mob. they definatly were fast to kill, and easy to dodge. before togan could say anything, i kicked a couple of the creatures to him so they landed on the pointy end of the sword. "thats one big schishcabob ya got there" i said with a laugh and whirld around to stab another.

he agreed it was starting to get fun.
Fighting creatures he knew he could beat was definably the way he wanted to train.
he pushed the corpses off the end of his sword and he spun around to hack at another.

it had been a while since i had fought creatures as weak as these. so i was rather enjoying myself. after a while i had a pile of bodies stacked like a cheerleading pyrimid, which i kicked over just for the hell of it. "mine's done" i announced and looked over to see how togan was doing

Togan:
he had managed to kill at least 12 of them. he was reveling in his small victory he spun around to see that they were both surrounded by what seemed to be a sea of these creatures. Now he couldnt simply run past and slash because then hed run straight into another. He very quickly realised how dangerous this could get....the sheer number of them could easily overwhelm them. He couldnt help but back up a little when they all started lurching forward. He stabbed at one and it went down but that didnt stop the rest pushing forward. "oh s**t"

seeing the new amount of creatures, i was starting to get worried. "can you still continue?" i asked togan. i didn't want him to keep going if he couldn't. i'm not that mean
