"N-no. It's just the language, I swear. I just.. I thought you might not want to let me learn because of the whole me not being a Denzien thing. And I don't want to be a Denzien. I don't fight anymore. I'm sorry. I should really go-" He tugged at his dogtags, which were still under his shirt, his brain finally deciding that Kaegan should approve of him going before he went.

"There's no rule against it, Tsurai, but it would be.. pretty pointless to learn it if you weren't going to be part of the culture." He watched Tsurai's maneurisms for future reference. "You should ask Braeden to teach you bits and pieces."

"I did, he said to ask you." Tsurai sighed, still a bit unnerved. Enough to stop tugging on his tags, but his left hand was still there.
"So I did."

He smiled. Braeden, for once, had decided to do the proper thing and have Tsurai go through the proper authority first. After a second's rethinking, it was more likely to be Braeden's innate laziness than a symbol of respect.
"Well you can tell him you have my permission, and that he's going to be the one to do it for you, okay?"

Tsurai nodded, crissing his arms idly over his stomach. "Um... What rank is... Braeden, now...?"

Kaegan chortled. "Twenty four." He winked. "I think you could beat him with your left hand if you put your mind to it."

Tsurai let out another heavy sigh at hearing the rank. "Thanks for the compliment, but I don't fight anymore." How many times had he said that in five minutes? Was Tsurai just trying to convince himself, now?
"Is he omega, or are their people under him?"

Kaegan laughed. "No, he's a long way from omega. Our current omega of about.. two weeks-" He pointed to a skinny, thin wristed fifteen year old. "Is over there. Braeden's got his share under him I suppose."

Tsurai glanced over to the current omega, and his jaw tightened. His hand moved from tags to running through his hair again. "... Do you think I'd make a good Denzien? Even witht he fighting and everything? Or would.." He scratched the back of his head. "Or would I be a loose cannon?"

He smiled at Tsurai, shaking his head back and forth. "Being a Denzien, kid, isn't all about fighting. And your friend Isiah was a loose canon at your age, too. If you want to make a commitment to not only a way of life but a religion, then yes, I do believe you could make an excellent denzien."

Tsurai was vissibly pressured. He dropped his hands to his sides and looked at the sky. "Augh, I used to want to be a Denzien. So badly. But I don't know anymore." He ran his hand through his hair and he watched Kaegan's face. "I don't want to fight anymore, I probably couldn't learn Denzien if I tried, and worst of all.." He cut himself off again, started tugging on his tags again. "I should go. I need to go. Can I go?" He didn't like where he had taken this conversation.

Kaegan nodded. "Of course. I wasn't keeping you." He shook his head slowly. Tsurai was a strange kid. He couldn't figure out what he was thinking or why, and that was unusual for Kaegan.
Kaegan had deemed him very simplistic at his core- from all he had heard from Isiah, Tsurai was diagnosed as a mix between a manipulator and a child desperate for a leading figure. Someone had crippled Tsurai's thinking process in his youth, made him believe- feverently- that he couldn't make decisions by himself. That's why he is the way he is.

Tsurai took a step away from Kaegan, and then turned back, his hand instinctively brushing through his long hair again. "Kaegan-" He cut the word short, and then lowered his voice, worried. "That tall guy with the brown hair-- Connor? Is he a Denzien?"
The boy curled his finger in a long bang, tugging on it. "He keeps... Threatening me. I don't know what to do. What should I do..?"

Kaegan frowned. "No, Connor isn't denzien. What kind of threats?" Kaegan was immediately displeased. He couldn't understand for the life of him what Isiah saw in him... He recrossed his arms over his chest and tapped his fingers along his forearm.

Tsurai yanked on his bangs once with his fist, realized it looked stupid, and so brushed his fingers through his hair instead. Probably one of the reasons his hair wasn't so knotted, he was always inadvertingly finger brushing it when he was nervous.
"The protective boyfriend kind." He looked away, forcing his hands in his pockets, realizing how weird he must look to Kaegan. "He thinks I stab people in the back. He thinks I'm a two-faced liar." Tsurai looked up at the sky with a groan. "I don't blame him. But every time I pass him he always glares at me when Isiah's around. And when he's not, Connor chokes me every chance he gets." Tsurai le tout a heavy sigh, looking at the ground with a light whine. "If I wasn't trying to keep my violence down, I'd be done witht he stupid bullying, already, but I don't know what to do if I can't punch him in the face. Not that it would help anyway."
Tsurai's green eyes stared at Kaegan, with a pleading look on his face. "He's convinced that at any flickering moment I could go berserk and kill everyone!" The kid's voice had inadvertingly loudened at that sentence. After a few wavering turns of heads, Tsurai took a breath and tried to control his volume. "I don't know what I can do to prove to these people that I don't do that anymore." He began pleading, "I've got a hold on my anger, now, I don't do that anymore! I trust everyone here, why does no one trust me?!"
Tsurai put his face in his hands. He couldn't think of anything to do. "It's not fair...!" he said through his hands, crossing his arms loosely over his waist afterward and looking up to Kaegan.
"I don't understand... What did I do that was so wrong...?"
