How come? Isn't the codex to be released in 12th of January? Can you tell me if Wazdakka Gutmek is still there when u get it? I know it was in the testing pdf from summer but I just want to be sure.

Read my last post on the page before this one for info about Wazzdakka.
And I get it because our hobby store managed to get their hands on some of the books, and was only to sell them to the ork spearhead buyers. :B

Tomorrow it's time... : D <3
I can't wait to convert the Big Mek with the Shokk attack gun! Since he might be unlucky and "shoot" himself to the enemy instead of snots I need to equip him for close combat fightin', but I don't know if I want a burna or a powerclaw.
Powerclaws are nice, but it'd be hard to get it on the model and still have that sucky pipe thingy he have in his hand, and a burna is cool and all, but then I'd need to make my own one from plasticard since all the burnas that exists are too big, I don't want to make him TOO gubbinzed.
I haven't thought of which clan he should be from yet either, might make a duplication on the Bad Moons, since there's lots of shiny (and spinny) stuff on a shokk attack gun.
...
Shokk Attack Gun...
60" range, Str 2 D6 AP2 and the big blast marker! Who don't want that on their side! (not really "on" your own boyz... even though it might happen if you are unlucky...)

I wish Orks would speak properly (at least some of them) and they were more like the noble-natured savages they are in other worlds. More like Wazdakka. Maybe that's why I like him. Defenetily if I'll have the money I'll buy the parts needed for a Wazdakka conversion, just for case display, incase he won't lead a Waaagh! of warbikers across the battle tables. smile

Wazzdakka is one of the primary reasons I'll be buying the new Ork dex. I've wanted to make an all Biker Ork army for a while now, but I held off when I heard the new Ork Dex was coming out, because I wasn't sure if it'd be doable anymore. But it still is, so long as I field Wazzdakka. Plus, his rules are awesome.

2 Warbosses(Wazdakka being one of them) on warbike, 3 nob mobs on warbikes and 6 mobs of warbikes it's a nice looking army (104 Warbikes - more then 2000 pts). I don't know about apocalypse rules. I think you can have a even bigger Waaagh! made all of warbikes. domokun scream WAAAGH!

Of course, the one thing slowing me down in building that army is going to be real world cost. It'll probably be a box of three bikes for $45.
EDIT: Checked the website, it'll be $35 for three. Cheaper than I thought, but still pretty expensive.

Wazdakka is not a warboss, he's a big mek! D8
And the new sprues are SWELL!
They're AWESOME!
I LOVE THEM!
Everything but the Wyrdboy... : D
I built my Big Mek, gave him a powerclaw, might put him up in my project log in the modelling and painting forums later.

I can't wait to see the look on your face when you roll a snake eyes on your first turn. congratulations, you've just now lost the game. gonk

LOL!
I pity those fools who play orks for winning!
You play orks for the fun of it. :B
Also I would laugh if I rolled a double 1 the first turn, seriously, I would. xD
I can't see that the mek is expensive in any way, we're like talking about max 200 points (got him to 125 points with the shokk attack gun, 'eavy armour and powerclaw), that's nothing to me, quite soakable in my eyes, I've seen worse. n_n -used to play Chaos- Also orks don't win because of characters and if he did blow himself up and some boyz there's still plenty boyz on the table.
Movement is before shooting, and after the first movement phase I'm quite sure that there's no footslogger boyz around the mek since they're working their way to the enemy being protected by the second big mek with a kostum force field.
Meks don't make orks win, orks makes orks win, and a good ol' proppa choppa! WAAAGH!

I play orks for winning only a little, and it's still fun! By the way, can you still loot a Basilisk from the Imperial Guards? Yeah, I looted one so my Boyz didn't git turned into swiss cheese by the blasted Tau cowards I face off and on...or Space Marines...It comes in handy too! I've blown up my friend's Hammerhead multiple times in the past year! WAAAAGH!!!

You can't loot specific vehicles anymore, instead there is a generic "Looted Vehicle" entry, which represents a generic "looted vehicle."
