Aquila15 [King_Chaos] xd Yeah, languages can be fun. You can end up confusing people without even trying. We did just that when my friend's friend from America came over. We were just talking normally and she hadn't a clue what we were saying, it was hilarious xd Nice. I know that my friends and I did that when we were in Japan, but that's also a very different language. xp

I'd be terrible at the language though, I'd need a phrasebook or something. I was fine when I went to France since I'm doing French for A-level but Japanese is just a completley different story. And I wouldn't be so arrogant (as many people are) to just assume they speak English, I like to try to make an effort to speak their language 3nodding

A friend of mine is studying Japanese at university and he's been over in Japan for the last year. He says the food is pretty bad...it's so hard to find simple food..like cheese..they just don't have any cheese lol

As speaking to them goes, if I know that I don't know how to say what I'm trying to say in Japanese, then I ask in Japanese if they can speak English.
@Shadow-Well the Japanese don't raise cattle, and if they do it's no in mass amounts. Basically you've got to be prepared to eat a lot of fish if you go over there, since that's their main source of food. However, I also plan on going to Japan for a year, but that won't be until my junior year of college.

Does anyone here have their lip pierced? I'm really considering getting it done, I don't know if my manager at work would be ok with it. I'm also worried that it might not suit me but I've seen tons of people with it done and I think it looks awesome biggrin

I'm not a big fan of piercing, but maybe try photoshoping one on a picture of yourself to see if you like it?

Or try finding a fake one just to see how it feels on your mouth..because it feels different to eat and drink etc. I dont have my lip pierced but I do have a fake one which was bought for me as a joke. I don't like piercings so my opinion would just be biased anyway sweatdrop

I was gonna try the photoshop thing but I'm hopeless with that sorta stuff, someone would have to do it for me-maybe some of my more tech-friendly friends biggrin
I tried to buy a fake one today but the ones they had were far too small.
I guess I'm just gonna have to go for it, if my manager in work is ok with it, which I really doubt.
On another topic altogether, my exams are finished now! I've oficially left school forever! And I have a job now, so I can finally afford to go out. I'm heading out tomorrow night actually, it's gonna be awesome. What is everyone else up to this week? smile

I'm going away on this youth trip on the 25th which I'm really looking forward to. It's only to this place about an hour up the coast but it's meant to be awesome so I can't wait.

Oh she'll be fine, don't worry. Thanks for the concern smile Zavvi (formerly Virgin) are doing great offers on CD's, selected albums are £6 each. Just to let you know in case there's one near you. I bought "Silent Alarm" by Bloc Party from there the other day, it's a great album. I used to be a complete metalhead but I love Indie now mrgreen There are a few games I think I'd like at the minute but I can't afford them sad Battalion Wars II for the Wii and then there's one for the XBox I'd like but I can't remember what it's called sweatdrop What console d'you have Kat?
