I think that's because the thread we have is Zettai Kareshi, and most people know it as Absolute Boyfriend. So they get confused, and ignore the Zettai Kareshi thread and make their own Absolute Boyfriend thread. Annoying, but true. And Fushigi Yuugi Genbu Kaiden's name wasn't changed in coming to America, so people know it as that anyway.

Why the hell did they decide to change it this time. I mean, Fushigi yuugi, imadoki, etc. So why the hell change it to Absolute Boyfriend. They could have just put it in small letters under the name.

They could have just put it in small letters under the name. Because Viz are inconsistent pains in the a** ^^ That's what I've decided. I wish I could give you a reason, Imadoki and Fushigi Yuugi both have fairly easy translations as well. I mean with those two as I recall they basically left the Japanese title and then added the translation in smaller letters on the actual cover. But yea, basically I've just summed it up to the fact that Viz is incredibly inconsistent. Even with vocabulary in the actual series itself. My favorite was 'tennyo' from Ceres, they couldn't seem to make up their minds about what word to use. As to the newbie issue, the fact alone that a lot of people only know the series as Absolute Boyfriend shows that they don't exact follow up on Watase news, which amuses me because some people are always rambling "oh my god I'm the biggest fan ever!" and yet they didn't even know the series was going on two years previously *shrugs* I don't expect everyone to read Japanese, but its not that hard to get on the internet and find the information. Ahhh... oh well. But I've also definitely seen more threads on Zekkare than Genbu Kaiden, which depresses me. I was hoping for more reaction when it came out.

I've been discussing with some manga subbie regulars (if you want a link to the thread, just ask) and we decided on a "clean the manga subbie project". I mean, I lost count of how many repeat threads I've seen. So we are making nice, organized threads (with info from the series, links, characters information and other stuff) about manga titles that floods the manga subbie. I picked Ayashi no Ceres and FY Genbu Kaiden, since none of them have decent threads yet.
Also, for examples of "decent threads" check the Parfait Tic, or the Full Moon wo Sagashite thread. They have such a pretty layout. @_@

Man, if I could count all the posts I lost.... I write really long PMs sometimes, and then I send them and it can't find the server. Before it sent. Makes me want to throttle the computer. With posts I don't mind so much. Half the time I second guess myself and decide I don't want to post it anymore. Yes, I'm very indecisive. But with PMs it just pisses me off. And I don't know what the difference is between them. There just is one.

LHL Takiko-chan I think that this guild is worth over 20k, though I wouldn't exitate to buy it for 30k... But I'm obsessed with Watase, and I would be worried if some a*****e bought the guild. xd Yeah, yeah. Pluse, if someone baught it for less, they might change it. Also, if they start their own, we have more then enough people to yell at them... like with that girl. I just noticed this. Silly me. That girl never even made the guild she threatened to make. She now wants to make some other guild. An anime RP/music guild or something like that. Yes. Is it bad that I laughed? I know, isn't it? That's probably why I laughed. Do you think we just have a grudge against her, because she threatened us with a thread guild, or is it something else? 'Cause, you know, if she hadn't told us about the fact that she wanted to make a thread guild, we never would've paid any attention to her. What a dumb mistake to make, don't you think?

Yeah. Which is why, for us, it wasn't a bad mistake. For her it is. If she does make her guild, I'm joining it on my mule, just to see if I can make a bit of chaos. So I actually do hope she gets the 20,000 gold to make the stupid thing.
