He apologized profusely on the inside as Oliver took a tumble, though at least it did the job; he wasn't quite so murderous now. "Not gonna stop 'em," Dawson said grimly. "Gotta knock him clean out. Good idea, though. I did good on the Moon course." And, well, he was one. Sort of. Huffing, he picked his way down the stairs to go finish the job. "Ya'll start lookin' fer s**t ta stack, I'll take care a'dino nerd." Then they could bring him in, and then he could....hell, he didn't know. Could they ford survivors there? How many could fit? Was there a point to? (Don't think like that, just keep fighting.) Damage: potatoes Daws Hp: 17

[Oliver - Lighthouse] Although the fall had stunned him, and Chance's nicely aimed projectile nearly staggered him once more, the virus drove Oliver on. He stood almost like a baby deer on shaking legs, yet the moment he heard Dawson call back his head whipped around and he charged up the last few stairs in between them as though he felt no pain at all. Finally he lunged, barrelling into his friend's legs. Quote: Damage to Dawson: 13HP: 2 Virus: Red Eye

[Tommy - Wherever he even is now IDK ]Everything was a blur. He barely remembered that, at some point, he had been trying to go somewhere, because for some reason, something had given him that urge. It had only lasted briefly, however, when he had been shoved. He remembered being angry, so incredibly angry at that shove, and may have even done something about it, except that then, something else happened. And then his world had exploded into pain once more. His exposed skin seared, his head throbbing, his body feeling as if it had been run over by a train and then perhaps backed over and run over again for good measure. It was, by far, the most pain he had ever endured in his life. He didn't quite remember what happened next as slipped into a intense-pain driven, semi-conscious state. ---- He was being carried. By whom, he had no idea, and though the arms held him in a firm but gentle manner, every small jostle sent pains and aches coursing through his body. Whoever it was, however, he was thankful, because they weren't trying to eat him, weren't throwing an electric net at him, and, he assumed, they were carrying him to safety. Even though it hurt to do so, his arms moved, and his fingers curled around whatever fabric was available to cling to, his face pressing against his saviour. They smelled nice. Something sweet but not overpoweringly so. When they came to a stop, he heard voices, and it was then that he thought he knew who had come to his rescue. When she passed him off, a pained sound tore free from the back of his throat, his eyes closing tighter, his face set in a grimace. "No." he croaked out, "No, I do not need to be held." He struggled, weakly, against the new set of arms that held him, ones that were larger, harder. " Per Favore. Please. I am okay." That was a total lie as he was clearly not okay at all.

Otto flinched, staggering to the doorway to see Dawson go after Oliver. The small young man was now on him like a rabid animal. It hurt to watch. "Dawson you idiot! Get back here, he'll kill you!" ********! ******** ******** ********, he had to do something. No way would he close the doorway and let Dawson die! Otto grabbed Tenya from the floor and stepped out of the lighthouse. His strength was dismal, and everything was in terrible pain. Using what little he could inside him, he hurled Tenya down the stairs and into Oliver's body. Quote: Otto HP 10 Damage to Oliver: 2

[ BEACH ]The bloods bled from the wound of her leg sprinkled like paints when the Mist hunter flung her, her body's bones were about to break apart when her soft body hit hard against the ground like a plush. The blood loss was excessive and she felt it difficult to control her limbs from convulsion. As she felt every single part of energy was draining from her body, she was delightful that her lips cracked up into a imperceptible smile, veiled by the long hair flipped onto her face. She was selfish, if she could choose, she'd liked to have someone she knew to end her life. Sorry Leslie, don't blame yourself for it. It was a merely accident, the kind-hearted Shu cooed. She was a ghost, lingering in the world she didn't belong because of a precious promise she made. Now she was finally almost freed from it...... Coughing to uselessly relieve the unbearable pains, she made a hopeful glance at Leslie, watching pleasingly as his hands clawed and wanted to squish the air out her lungs. She extended and exposed the pale white neck to him, choking wasn't her best option but she didn't want to lose such a good chance - - Nellie was neglected all the time, she had no intention to save a soul she wasn't familiar - yet - she regretted. She didn't receive the mirth from the death, when Leslie was smashed aside, she knew her hope shattered into pieces. She screeched painfully internally as the hunter fell onto the sand in a weird pose. She wanted to squeeze Nellie's neck, drink her blood and smash her innocent face, she was that close. She panted and couldn't stop panting, the bubble of expectation burst and she had used the last bit of her energy. She fell onto the sand, closed her eyes to rest. Maybe last time. CHANCE - LIGHTHOUSEHe wanted to help; he wanted to get up and go over to his friends, Chance flinching as the Oliver slammed into Dawson, Otto's strength beginning to fail him. Chance's body shifted a little, a knee-jerk reaction as Chance attempted to stand up, but gave up a second later and slid back down the wall with Maebe still in his lap.
And, finally, it seemed like he'd been subdued, Oliver lying still on the ground, though Chance could see his chest rising and falling to indicate his breathing.
"Well," said Chance, into the ringing silence. "This will be something to put on the Christmas cards."medigel now I really want potatoes ARORANGI - COURTYARDThere were butterflies everywhere, fluttering this way and that, and Arorangi was having difficulty seeing what was happening. He reached out to find Lydia's hand, and caught a glimpse of something bright and red - and a second later, he realized just what it was.
"Aroha?" he said carefully, trying to quell the rising fear that clawed at his stomach, Arorangi casting a sideways glance at Jake before he focused on Lydia again. He reached out a tattooed hand and took her wrist, fingers wrapping loosely around her much smaller arm.
"Lydia," said Arorangi again, slowly, firmly, "It is me, it is Arorangi, and it is our new friend Jake. Can you hear us, Lydia?"

[Lydia - Courtyard] She had passed out, blood trailing down her cheeks from her eyes, and dripping from her nose. She was not aware of the moment when an antidote was given to her, with it happening so soon, so quickly, in that brief moment before she could regain consciousness, lost in the virus that had taken ahold of her weakened body. For a long moment after the hunter that had rushed over to help left again, her body remained still save for the shallow breaths that made her chest rise and fall. Arorangi and Jacob's words both fell on deaf ears, until one last, deep breath was taken. And her eyes opened. Red. Blood red. Those eyes turned down to the hand at her wrist, and suddenly, her lip was pulling back from her teeth, and her eyes were narrowing, a livid fury harboured there that had no place on that usually ever cheerful face. Letting out a sharp scream of rage, she sat up, and attempted to pull her wrist away, kicking, thrashing, head shaking from one side to the other, tossing blue and brown curls around as she continued to shriek. courtyard"Yeah," Evan agreed with Milo. "Not too far from our position, easy access to the rest of the dorms--it'll work. Milo said he last saw Noemi in the dorms," he said, turning to Nora. "Once we get situated, I'll go look for Stormy...and Gale." He didn't fight against Tommy's struggling, instead carefully letting his feet down but keeping his arm around the wounded man's back for support. "If you're all right then I'm the king of ******** England," Evan said with good-natured sarcasm. "Walk if you think you can, but think quickly--we're too vulnerable out here." Well, he meant to get Oliver back in control. The problem was that the fellow unfortunately aimed at his legs next, and the crack of them colliding on the stony staircase was unpleasant for more than just the sound: it meant that Dawson's bad leg, the one that had been broken and pierced through on his promotion mission, had probably fractured under their combined weight.
Distantly beyond the veil of pain, he heard the very familiar idiot. God, he never changed.
Trying to hide the fact that he was favoring a leg, Dawson forced himself to get out from under the limp form that was now (hopefully) a less bloodthirsty version of his friend and leaned against the railing. "Ffffffffuuuuuuuuuuuuckin' dayum," he groaned, "remind me not t'get on his bad side." Trembling, he leaned down, grit his teeth as pain radiated from his injured leg, and yanked Oliver up as best he could.
"Right, so. Door. Chance, y'mind watchin' this guy too?" The Sun was lucky Dawson had missed his attempt to try and get up or he would have been fussed over. "Not sure when he'll come around, but didn' look like real long from what I seen. Me n' Otto'll look fer things t'stack the door with meantime."

[Courtyard] Lydia's continued silence made Jacob irrationally irritated, and he didn't know why, which only made him angrier. She was injured! On the ground! Unconscious. The anger made no sense! He attempted to reason with himself, but the pounding headache he was suffering made all his strings of thought very difficult to hold. What finally broke him out of it was Lydia jerking awake and screaming. All thoughts of anger fled as fight or flight response kicked in. Literally kicked in. As in, Jacob screamed, saw Lydia's glowing red eyes, screamed some more, and kicked her. Quote: Virus Counter: 30 HP: 40/40

"Blacked out a bit, didn't see her when I came to.. hopefully she's still there." Milo added in on regards to the red head. Would be helpful too if they found her, since she was taking on a more medical approach to being a Hunter. Could help with the guy in Evan's arms who claimed he was fine (obviously he hadn't gotten a good look at himself or anything).
He let Evan continue on with the answers - no use for more of the same thing and none that he could even supply - as he took the lead of steering the group back to the dorms; his hands weren't full and honestly didn't seem injured despite everything. Milo did keep an eye on Nora just in case, as he was while watching their surroundings.

A regular Jack would have used each punch as fuel for the fury, but now in the waning period of his energy, the Protection-infused hunter could barely feel a rise from the pain. It was accepted, just as his friends' betrayal and attempts to subdue him had been. All else had burned into a blueish white that, while not exactly comfortable, had been natural all the same, like sticking his hand in the fire that had once burned and now only felt warm.
It was easy to see he was tiring nonetheless. Spitting blood, he raised his sword only to find a different target in the way. That part that sought justice didn't care, but that part which was still Jack flared and restrained, and he hesitated at both the motion and her words. The fire burned hotter in response until he felt his very mind seared by the need for more, however, and with a throaty growl, he was forced forward, sword dragging.

"Don't be stupid, Evan, pick him up, he can barely hold his own weight. And you--shush your pretty little head now, dear," Nora said to Tommy, lightly stroking his hair in a way Evan might recognize--well, save for the chipped nails ruining the image. Damn vines."I would be absolutely mortified if you came out of this worse for wear." It seemed if she had the illusion of being able to order people around, Nora was able to maintain a better hold on herself.
Following closely after Milo, a little hyper alert of their surroundings as well (especially after seeing all that red lightning earlier), Nora eventually collapsed in the nearest armchair of the common room, groaning. "We'll find her," she assured Milo before giving Evan a sidelong glance. "All of them." She hadn't liked that pause between names. "Look for some water for Thomas while I catch my breath."

[Beach]
And just like that, it was all over and Nellie was left standing next to both Shu and Leslie on the beach looking rather ridiculous with her arm raised in the air as if she was trying to attract the attention of the teacher in the middle of a class.
Alright. So what's next?
She slowly lowered her hand, looking around herself to ensure that there weren't any hostile red-eyed hunters in their immediate vicinity who might inflict further bodily harm upon any of them. Once she was sure that the coast was clear, she sat herself down on the sand to watch over them both and simply waited.

GALE - COURTYARDHe didn't say anything to her; Gale just reached for Stormy, gathered her into his arms, and pressed his face against her shoulder, holding her gently against his chest.Quote: Virus Counter: 36 HP: 1 DMG: ARORANGI - COURTYARDArorangi reached out and seized Jake by the back of his shirt, pulling him away from Lydia.
"It is all right," he said, even though he was barely aware himself of whether or not that was actually true. "Do not worry, I will figure out what to do with Lydia, it will be all right."
Her red eyes were terrifying; the expression on her face did not match the one she usually wore, cheerful and upbeat and a bit quirky, and it was incredibly unsettling to see her as anything other than that.
"Lydia," Arorangi tried again, holding up his hands. "We do not want to hurt you, please do not hurt us."
