"My history is neither your business nor concern." Her voice is calm and uncaring, she doesn't even bother to look at him when she speaks.
Xashowd chuckled mirthlessly. "Try telling that to my curiosity. Once it latches onto something it wants to know, it doesn't let go until it's satisfied. I've tried forcing it off in the past, but I've gotten migraines from doing so, so I don't bother stopping it anymore." Xashowd stated. "So, whether we like it or not, you're stuck with me until my curiosity is satisfied. It won't leave me alone otherwise." Xashowd finished the last statement with a sigh.
I think I'm takin' a week long trip to Gold Mountain once this is over, but other than that I'm holdin' up. You?

Xashowd called over from where he stood. "Fairly well, aside from when I went berserk earlier today. Sorry for that high-pitched scream by the way, I have a tendency to do that when enraged." Xashowd replied.
Looks up from nomming on the excessively large strawberry hearing some calmer discussions as it sounded like for awhile someone was going to snap another in half..
"Batty's fine fine. Winning so much~ This has been such fun fun game."

Her voice remains apathetic as she responds, "Curiosity killed the cat, and satisfaction won't be bringing you back." Her eye had shut and she was sitting now, leaning against the wall.

He wasn't sure what scream Xashowd was talking about since he had slept through it, so he just shrugs in response. He grins at Batty, "I'm glad you're winning and having fun." He looks at the rest of the food, getting a plate and putting some eggs and more bacon on it to eat. "Do you go to Gold Mountain often, my lady?"

"I don't have any obligations, nor any roots to tie me to this world. If I die in pursuit of knowledge, then so be it. The only truth to life is that we make of it what we will..." Xashowd responded. He didn't think he'd gotten on Daenes' good side, but a simple conversation was a nice start.
He noticed she'd slumped down and her eye had closed. Did she fall asleep? Xashowd shrugged. Guess all that anger tuckered her out. Xashowd knew full well how draining anger could be, and since it seemed Daenes was constantly angry, he wasn't surprised to see her asleep now. "Rest well, my little mystery." Xashowd said, though he knew it fell on sleeping ears.

"Yeah...I've noticed I can't use a lot of my magic when I'm extremely thirsty, so when I go berserk like that I use other methods of incapacitating foes. Again, sorry about that." Xashowd replied.

-She shrugs- When I'm in the area, yeah. Sometimes I hop by them community made lottos, gamblin' rooms, game rooms, ya name it. Any place that needs a bit o' luck tossed aroun'. Gambino's got the bigges' flow righ' now, less ya consider La Victoire's chance games, but mos' people play that one near the marketplace anyway, which is righ' next door to Gold Mountain.
