Reaper nodded and watched as Fraxure ripped the cover off the ventilation, then followed behind both Cody and Al, and his Banette inside the ventilation system.

Cody kept close to Banette, following cautiously while still leading the way. He quickly used his TADS device to pop onto Devon Corp's unsecured wifi network. That was the company's first mistake. Regardless of the fact that it was for guests to the company and limited access and restricted permissions to sites, it still ran through the same router and modem as the company's main network, and therefore provided a gateway to what hackers would call 'the other world.'
Very shortly, Cody had pulled up an interactive map based upon GPS satellites that located their position inside the ventilation in comparison to the room with the fossil machine. The group crawled as quietly as possible for several minutes until finally reaching the vent that was directly overhead the lab they needed. Cody raised his finger to his lips, motioning for silence in his group and pulled a pokeball off his belt. The boy counted down from three and busted through the vent, sticking the landing as the group fell into the room.

The scientists all jumped as the group burst in, luckily the vent they'd come through all completely blocked the exit for the three scientists. "Let me try something first." He put his hand on Cody's shoulder to keep him from attacking right away. "Listen," He stepped forward speaking up, his hands in front of him to show the scientists he meant no harm, "We're not here to cause trouble, I promise." "Then why did you break in through the vent!?" One of the scientists whimpered. "Reasons we're not at liberty to tell you, now listen, we need you to operate the machine that revives fossils for us." One of the scientists stares at him for a moment, looks back to the others and gulps down a breath. "No." He squeaked. "Pardon?" Allen raised an eyebrow, "Speak up." "No! Y-You'll have to fight us!" To which Allen sighed deeply. "Have it your way, Cody, your plan is a go."
Fight a scientist, they each have two or three basic stage Pokemon.

Cody stepped forward, guarding his team from any harm. "Help us, or face the consequences," the boy called out, and was answered by a pokeball erupting in front of him. "Magnemite!" the scientist called. "Let's show these guys who's boss!" Cody grabbed a ball of his own and tossed it. Out popped Darumaka who proceeded to dance in a circle. "Darumaka, Fire Fang!" the boy called. The small red pokemon launched itself at Magnemite, its teeth engulfed in flames, but came up short with its leap and fell to the ground. "I blame this on your ability," Cody said, shaking his head. "Magnemite, Thundershock!" the scientist called, watching the magnets on the end of his pokemon's body spark a few times before shooting bolts of electricity at Darumaka. The attack hit directly for moderate damage. Cody flinched as the attack hit, illuminating his pokemon's body momentarily. As the electric current died down, the fire type started to dance again, launching itself at Magnemite once more for another Fire Fang, this time sinking its teeth through the steel type's hard body for extra damage. Magnemite wobbled in the air, barely hanging on to consciousness. It shot a bolt of electricity once more at its foe, but missed by a long shot - its vision obviously blurred by lack of HP. Darumaka danced up to the uneven Magnemite and blasted it up close with a burst of fire, completely engulfing the poor pokemon's body in flames. The scientist panicked, returning the steel type, and shot another pokeball in the direction of his opponent.
Cody returned Darumaka quickly as the new foe came onto the field. A Nosepass - obviously the wrong opponent for a Fire Type. Cody thought hard before grabbing a ball from his belt. He tossed the ball underhand onto the field, and out popped Celeste. The Feebas proceeded to flop around the cold, metal floor helplessly as it took the first attack from Nosepass - a Tackle attack. Celeste shook off the damage and fired back with a Water Pulse, conjuring a burst of water from the atmosphere and firing it at the Ground Type for good damage. Nosepass groaned in pain as the water struck it hard, but came back with a Thunder Wave, pulling static from the air to slow down the Feebas. Celeste tried to move, but it was no use. The static had her stuck to the floor. Nosepass came at her again with another Tackle, hitting her just as hard the second time. The fish pokemon struggled to hang on, but utilized the power of her held item, the Mystic Water, to fire off a scalding hot burst of water that ate at Nosepass's HP severely. The pokemon wobbled on its stumpy legs after the attack, finally falling over. Cody returned his pokemon, praising her for a job well done.

The scientist that opposed him was a tall thin guy without glasses. His hair was thick and curly, it looked like it cut off his left and right peripheral vision. Allen sighed, "Since you're so sure you want to go this route." But the scientist stayed silent on the subject, "Fine. Frogadier, get ready."
The scientist called for a Pokemon called Shroomish, it bounded in from what Allen expected was the fossil revival room. "A Grass type from the looks of it." Frogadier's eyes were still glowing from the O-Power used earlier that day, which gave him a boost to his Special Attack, "Frogadier, Ice Beam." The scientist went wide eyed, the attack hit quickly and fainted the Shroomish in a single hit, "Listen to me, you don't have to kee-"
"Noo! Fight! G-Go Absol!" The scientist called his Dark type forth, "Do something!" "Frogadier, Round!" Allen called to his shiny Pokemon, which croaked melodically, doing some heavy damage to the Absol. Once it recovered, the foe reared it's head back, it's horn glowing bright with a bright purple energy and blasted a Psycho Cut, slashing across Frogadier. The attack did massive damage, but not enough to take him out, "Frogadier, finish this with Water Pulse!" He nodded, shooting a sharp blast from water at the opponent, the damage accumulating to be enough to take out the Absol.
The scientist whimpered again, returning his fainted Pokemon. Allen glanced around to see the others' battles.

Reaper shook his head. 'What happened to silence?' He thought before hopping down and landing beside his two comrades. He listened as Al tried reasoning with them, and then he laughed as one said they had to battle them. "Seriously? You guys got no clue what you're dealing with here." He chuckled before pulling out his Pokeball, only for Snorunt to come out instead and start dancing. "Alright, you're up first." He laughed and put away Poochyena's Pokeball as the Scientist sent out a Horsea.
~Battle Start~
Scientist's Horsea started off the battle by summoning a ball of condensed water energy and launched it at Snorunt in a Water Pulse attack, striking Snorunt and dealing moderate damage while staggering her. "Alright Snorunt, attack with Shadow Ball!" He said as Snorunt hopped in the air, summoned an glob of shadowy energy and shot it at Horsea, striking it hard and knocking it off balance, dealing moderate damage.
Scientist's Horsea then attacked with Swift, shooting multiple homing stars at Snorunt and damaging her slightly, keeping her ground firmly though. "Snorunt, attack again with Shadow Ball." He said as Snorunt repeated her attack by summoning a ghostly glob of energy and hurled it at Horsea, striking hard, but leaving it still able to battle.
Scientist's Horsea attacked once more with a Scald attack, shooting steaming hot water out of it's mouth and making contact with Snorunt, damaging it moderately and burning it in the process. "Hang in there Snorunt and attack with Frost Breath!" He said and Snorunt inhaled deeply and exhaled a strong and very chilly breath, and managing to hit Horsea critically, fainting it. Snorunt took slight burn damage afterwards. The Scientist called back his Horsea and sent out a Kecleon.
"This isn't good, Snorunt attack with Frost Breath again!" He called out as Snorunttook a big deep breath and exhaled a powerful gust of icy wind from itself, striking Kecleon critically but still not dealing very much damage to it and changing the color of itself, symbolizing it's now an Ice Type. The Scientist's Kecleon attacked with a powerful Fire Punch, scorching it's fist and getting close to strike Snorunt, and successfully knocking her unconscious. "It's alright Snorunt you were great. Rest up." He said and returned her to her Pokeball and pulled out a Pokeball and sent out Corphish, who was very eager for battle.
Scientist's Kecleon(Ice) began to move around dizzily, as if it had Amnesia or something, gaining a boost in resisting Special Attacks. "Corphish attack him with Rock Slide!" He said as Corphish punched the ceiling above Kecleon(Ice) and caused it to collapse on the Pokemon, damaging it badly due to being weak to Rock Type attacks, but also changing it to a Rock Type by changing it's color.
Kecleon(Rock) then counter attacked with Dizzy Punch by dancing around in an odd manner and punching Corphish multiple times, inflicting moderate damage to him. "Corphish, let's give him a taste of your Crabhammer attack!" He yelled as Corphish smilled happily and ran over and once his pincer was glowing, he slugged the Kecleon critically and knocking it out from the sheer force of the attack. the Scientist growled and returned his Kecleon and stepped back where the rest of the Scientists were.

The scientists all backed up out of fear, "Now." Allen folded his arms, stepping up to the one he'd faced, "Revive our fossils so we can leave." The guy gulped and nodded stumbling backwards a bit, the three of them filed into the room and the trio on Aquans followed them in, "Here is my fossil." He handed over the rock to the first scientist. He rounded the machine placing the rock inside. the large dark gray metal box whirred to life and began extracting the DNA from the Dome Fossil. It took a few minutes, but soon enough there was a sleeping Kabuto in a tank in Allen's arms. He grinned, it was actually like a newborn baby Pokemon. He nodded to Cody. "You're up."

Cody stepped up to the metaphorical plate and handed over the fossil. Watching Allen's fossil from a distance was insane, but he wanted a close-up of the action. To watch all this transpire would blow his mind all over again. The scientist took the fossil and stuck it into the machine. As the piece of metal started to groan and whir, the fossil illuminated and started to change shape, as if it were evolving. The light grew blinding, especially from such a short distance, and Cody had to squint. Through his eyelids, however, he watched what was once a simple rock morph into a full-blown pokemon. Not long after it had reached its pinnacle, the light began to die down. The fossil finished taking its shape, and before Cody stood a brand new pokemon. The boy was speechless, but incredibly excited to test the potential of his new partner. He brought out a pokeball and recalled Lileep for the first time, and returned to his group.

Reaper watched in amazement as the two stuck a couple of rocks into the machine and out came a Pokemon. A Kabuto and Lileep to be exact. "Congratulations on your new Pokemon guys. I thought we were here to rob them once again. This is better though." He chuckled and returned his Corphish since he was picking on the Scientists.

Allen chuckled and nodded to Reaper, "Thanks." He pulled the Pokemon into it's Pokeball. "Now... G-Get out of here.""Thank you for your cooperation. they left the room and Allen locked the door, it was the only way to keep them from alerting the guards before they had a chance to escape. Back into the vent, and safely outside and on their way down the street. ------- Back at base, Allen sighed. at least it was over. He pulled up the Pokeball containing his new Kabuto. Rewards: Cody received Lileep; Allen received Kabuto; and Reaper received 1200PD for compensation.

Reaper followed the group back to headquarters and happily received his reward. He let out his Poochyena and sent him to the Nursery to let Corphish and Snorunt recover. Reaper sat back down on the same spot as usual and relaxed. "That was fun." He said with a light smile.

Allen entered the main room and took a seat on the couch. He let Seviper out of his ball. "Hey, buddy." The trainer slipped into the floor next to the large snake. "Lemme check you bandages." The pokemon silently rolled to the side and lifted his center slightly, holding his head up off the ground to watch the trainer. "Looks like it's coming along well enough. We'll stop by a center or something in a while." To this the Pokemon nodded, and nudged his trainer. Allen did a double take, Seviper wasn't quite known for his affection, every since Allen had caught him. The Officer smiled and petted the Pokemon a little. "Alright, come on." He returned the Pokemon to his ball for more rest. "Hmm, maybe we could had out on a route and do some training, and on the way back I can stop by the Pokemon Center." Not that the station in Aqua wasn't adequate, he'd just like a nurse to take a look for safety reasons.

Cody slugged his way into the common room. "What a day," he said to no one in particular as he plopped himself on a couch across from Allen and Seviper. "Hey." was all he had to say, and closed his eyes for a moment.

"Mm?" Allen hadn't even heard Cody enter the room, "Oh, hey, man!" He grinned, so how about that Lileep?" He grinned, pulling the ball for his Kabuto and letting it out to scuttle around the floor. The curious little thing moved over to a trashcan and knocked it over. "ACK!" The boy ran over to clean up the mess. While he cleaned he spoke up, "So, I was thinking about going out and doing some training with some wild Pokemon, Kabuto needs it and it wouldn't hurt some of my other Pokemon either."

Cody opened his eyes upon hearing Allen's cry to his Kabuto. "I wish my Lileep got into that type of trouble." the boy responded, closing his eyes again. "He just sits, suctioned to the floor," he chuckled, releasing Lileep from its capsule. The pokemon appeared in front of the couch, suctioned to the floor and steady as a stick. The lack of movement would probably worry the pokemon's trainer if he hadn't been used to it since the first time it was released from its ball. "I'm down for some training," Cody replied, nodding his head, keeping his neck rested against the back of the couch.
