Screw color tags phone post It was hard for Bul to avoid what he wanted to say about Red leaving them but the thought stayedsafely in his head. She did leave them behind but she didn't abandon them. To him leaving her ashes and bones was not abandonment either. Chessily enough Bul would stand by the fact that she left him and the others with her life. Unless they went and purposefully got themselves killed they'd always have that part of her with them. "I- I understand .. " Bul lowered his head. There was no sense in trying to convince Demi of anything that only he didn't agree with. "What are we going to do though .. do you think the headmistress will know about this? Were still in the middle of ******** nowhere."

Clinging to her bottle of ash Sammy got up moving towards Shehk, she watched quietly as her friend worked at the horn, cracking and thumping it till it finally gave way. When all was said and done Sammy simply walked over and wrapped her arms around the other ghoul and squeezed tight, she started to cry again, quietly as she hugged Shehk.
"What do we do...." she mumbled between sniffs.

Blinking away the last remnants of what was clearly just water stuck in his eyes, the boil caught sight of a particular ghoul he had recently had the pleasure of calling a friend. Funyn is it not? After all this...life, death, fighting and pain... there was a shine of light. They had all grown closer together from a common goal. Red was right... you can never kill Halloween. Walking towards the Ghoul he was unsure what to do really. He knew he wanted to comfort Amrita, but how? They were all so sad and lost and had no clue how t even get out of this place. getting down on his knees he dared to reach out and place a hand oh her shoulder, squeezing that spot gently. "...Hey? Hey. It'l, it'l be ok." Words he himself were fighting to see truth or not, but he would comfort others even if it meant he chose to fight his own beliefs.

Damien wasn't going to lie, He didn't want to bring back Red's remains in pieces. And watching everyone just attack her skull with rocks and their own aching hands and legs. It felt like he was no better than the reaper that delivered the blow in the first place, may he forever be cursed for his actions. "If I had the ability to, I'd carry the skull back whole, but its rather large, too large to carry back alone." he lamented quietly to the half beast, almost like brothers depending on one another. "But you are right, Red did save us, but without a way home, we're as good as dead till they come back." he didn't even want to consider that, but the hunters were cruel and resourceful. "The headmistress? she might know, she might not." he said without much thought. "But she'll find out once she figures out something wrong, her or the other instructors." It was a difficult thing to think about, telling her about the events that occurred, much less the idea of being interrogated by her, not to mention the shame he would feel telling it all to her. Shehk leaned into the hug from Sammy, sniffling into her shoulder. It was funny how when all hell had suddenly begun to break loose she'd been the one who had submitted to easily to the tears, clinging to this desperate hope that somehow...somehow she'd be able to save the werewolf.
But now that they'd failed, lost all hope for even that, she was trying so hard to not completely break down again. Yes, there were tears, but...they weren't as crippling as they had been earlier.
"We go on. We bring as much of her home as we can, we mourn, and then we carry on her legacy." Shehk answered, but there was something in her tone that implied what it was she couldn't say out loud, that burning thought in the back of her head.
And then we kill them all.
"Sammy...when we get home, I'm passing the FEARleading club on to someone else. I can't do it anymore..I....I have something else I need to do. Something more important." She looked at the undead. "Will you help me with it?"

The whole trip was a strange shift of perspective, leaders rose where followers had once stood. Others like herself had given up hope, and where in turn spurred on by those they once encouraged, but for what? The loss of someone greater then all of them, that most of them looked up too?
All she could do for now was mourn, arms wrapped tight around Shehk as she leaned into her shoulder talking quietly between them. "Yea, you're right." She mumbled back, the silence need not be spoken, both the Ghouls had the same train of thought, kill them, avenge Red, set things even for what they did to Halloween today.
"Passing FEARleading club...?" It was an odd remark but what came next made Sammy only nod, "I'll do whatever I can Shehk, I promise." For a moment they looked at each other eye to eye, Sammy leaned forward pressing a kiss on the forehead of her friend. "I'll need you too... we'll need everyone for what we have to do next...."
With that said she slowly pushed away from Shehk moving back towards Red's remains smacking a fist against the skull once more, less then gentle this time.

Tybalt approached the remains like the others had. It felt a little awkward--hacking apart their teacher like this, but leaving her completely alone felt worse. At least this way, Red could sort of return to Amityville with them.

After the first strike, he watched as a piece began to crack. If he was careful, he'd be able to knock the piece loose without turning it to ash.

The third strike proved to be successful. The piece came loose and fell to the ground and into a small pile of ash saving it from any further damage.
It wasn't a large piece, but it didn't need to be a large one.
Picking it up, he dusted it off, stuffing it in his hoodie pocket for later when he could carve it into an actual shape. Though... even with the piece, simply leaving Red like this, still felt a little strange to the black dog. So once the piece was pocketed, he held out his fist; concentrating his Fear into the palm of his hand and formed a small circular object.
"So long Red. Thanks for watching our backs." He said, and placed the object on the skull.

Again she cracked against the skull small chips of stone falling off, it was not the same delicate touch she had done earlier, but a beating of almost an upset child as she worked at the skull again.

The shadow that was cast on her was enough to make her look up; she blinked through her tears, part of her afraid that it would be a Hunter again, that one with the hammer that seemed to have a vendetta. It was a relief to see Remi there instead, and it made her do her best to offer a thin smile. It was as half-hearted as it was brief, but the attempt was there. One hand kept the piece of Red's back plate against her chest and the other moved, awkwardly gripping the top of his. "How." Amrita demanded almost angrily, her voice choked. "H- How, Remi? Red's gone, and..." The Vetala inhaled sharply, her hand gripping his tighter. As quickly as it started, Amrita's bubbling anger faded, leaving her in the same despair she had been prior. Red was gone, and she died being disappointed in them. She died regretting. While she was still grasping that Red would never come back, that there was such a thing as permanent death, she at least felt that dying with that mindset was...probably the worst feeling in the whole world. The hand on his slid away, instead curling around his shoulders to draw him closer to her. The ghoul buried her face into his shoulder, hugging him as tightly as she could with one arm. "I...I want to...to go home." She hiccuped, well on the verge of tears again.

The world shook. Hiding behind their make-shift Barricade, Christof could do nothing but hold onto Barth and Calder, intent on keeping them safe, keeping them *alive* and close... his eyes clenched shut as Red's dying words echoed through his head.
The barricade had grown, covered in ice....
The hunters were leaving.
Red was dead.
Slowly, dimly, the hunchback had lifted his head to peer around their protection, brows knit.
That was... a massive corpse.
It was unfortunate most of the Good Parts were gone, turned to Ash by that horrible bleeding human.
We Are Halloween... We Cannot Die... then what of you, Professor? Would you be back once your Fear was done scrambling about the atmosphere? What... what exactly had happened? He glanced to Barth with a distant expression before timidly climbing up to follow the others towards the debris.
Parts for the taking. He raised his hand, ready to claw through the stone, but his Fear seemed to... be unresponsive. That was... odd. No prickle of thorny scales. Just his own fist that hit the stone and made him yelp. Shaking his hand off, he glanced o the others numbly.
No. he had to collect a Part. That is what one did. You collect the Parts and bring them back to your Master. Especially valuable Parts like these...

Mistress would... would want proof. Of what went had happened.... oh, hell... how.. how was he supposed to explain to Mistress?
He supposed there would be a crowd bustling to all go gush over their adventure in any case. Someone would tell her. Riley was... well taken care of in that respect. What was one absent Igor when she had the rest of the student body?
His fist came down again on the massive skull, but still nothing would break free.

What if his... his true Master... Dr. Fell wanted.... it...it might be a good peace offering, bring him a piece of something so rare.... a creature unlike any other...
His hands hesitated over the skull, blinking dimly as he watched Tybalt solemnly place his pin. His mismatched eyes were wet.

Or Barth... Barth might want a piece, to remember her. To study. It might be stone, but it was originally their Professor... and... and that weapon. Together. Something new. Between Magic and Science, perhaps they could learn something from it...
He regained vigor, concentrating on the task, rationalizing each blow.
