"It's fact." Claude replied, and as Chance went on his little informative talk, the trainee's eyes drifted off to some of the nearby pods. She then flicked her gaze to Chance, and then back to Cameron, silent as he spoke before speaking again. "Something like that." She then glanced at Chance, smirking lightly after seeing Cameron look from her to him. "Told you there needs to be lube on hand. Don't mind me..." The way she spoke seemed to imply that Chance and the Sleeper could go for it, and she let that hang in the air for a moment before she looked back at Cameron. "No." She deadpanned. "First order of your business is to bond with your weapon. After that, what--or who--you do is up to you." She jabbed a thumb down the hall, indicating the way for him to go.

"Don't look at me," said Chance, waving a hand noncommittally. "It was your turn to bring the stuff this time."
The smile on his face bordered on a lazy smirk, the corners of his lips quirking upwards. Chance slid his eyes from the top of the newcomer's head, down to his feet and then back up again, though it was less the vaguely predatory stare of the sleeper and more the almost-bored expression of someone amused.
Claude received a punch to her arm for her sass.
"Weapon first, casual later," said Chance airily, grinning even as he rested his elbow on her shoulder and used it to prop the side of his head up in his hand. "Bonding is the fun part."

"The joke is lost, but the intention is not." Cameron shifted again, shoving himself out of the pod since it seemed it wouldn't be put to sleep again and stretched. He rolled on his heels, did a one two, touch the toes and adjusted his glasses back on his face and stood to his full height of 6'3. "Casual is good anytime, any place. Don't look so bored..." Cameron smile was cold as he looked at Chance, "I can make it more interesting....for you both." He shrugged.
"You've talked of weapons before and bonding." Cameron sighed, "Perhaps you can elaborate on it? If I am...bonding to anything, I would prefer to know exactly what it is." Whatever bonding meant. Perhaps it would be like blood or fingerprints...
His fingers moved to his temple.
"My name is Cameron, and you two are?"

Claude took the punch like a champ, maintaining that winning poker face and swaying a bit but standing firm on her feet. She continued to remain firm as Chance took to leaning on her again too, glancing at him out of the corner of her eyes briefly with a light smirk. She looked back at Cameron. "It's just talk right now from some fresh meat." She drawled. "Buckle up cowboy, you're in for a rodeo, and see how you're feeling after." Since she made Chance give the first spiel she decided, out of the kindness of her heart, to answer the questions about the weapon. "There's not much to elaborate on, honestly. You'll go to the cove, you'll go down some stairs, you'll be in a small room filled with glowing stone tablets...and you'll be drawn to pick one. That's your bonded weapon. After that, you'll leave, you'll see the quarter master, get assigned your coat, be assigned duties...and then have free run of the place." She paused a moment, and gave a small dip of her head in acknowledgement to the introduction. "Claude."

Fortunately for Cameron, both of the trainees that stood before him were of equal, if not slightly lesser, height. Which meant that there was no need for either Chance, nor Claude, to strain their necks upwards to see into his face (which was undeniably, a very nice face).
The former of which shook his head slowly, a little smile on his lips as he said, "I'm not bored. Quite the contrary, actually."
It was true, even if his face didn't actually express it. His eyes, however, were alight with the kind of amusement reserved for people that Chance found even mildly interesting. He leaned back and kept up the whole leaning thing, because that was comfortable.
"Basically, you follow the yellow brick road til you find a tablet, which will turn into a weapon," said Chance. "And it talks to you in your head. Pretty cool, actually."
His smile was mild. "I'm Chance."

"Apologies then, I mistook your smirk for one that had one too many dealings with these..." He shifted his eyes to Claude, "Casual encounters." He huffed.
"Yellow brick road then, I have to say that company is a lot better then. Dorothy and Toto have been replaced by very attractive look alikes." Wasn't fair to Chance or Claude, but Cameron had now deemed them the official Dorothy and Toto of this 'we're not in kansas,' anymore trip.
"Fantastic. Sounds like I'm living in a terrible rendition of some sort of aliens video game. Plus stone tablet weapons. Absolutely thrilling." Talks in his head? Now that wouldn't do at all, Cameron tucked his hands in his pockets, eyes narrowing a bit.
"So little voice running in my head, I am in hell and totally ********." He rose a brow. "Is there an emerald palace at the end of this road Dorothy and Toto? Do I get a wish from the wizard?" He smirked.

Amusement all around. Claude looked at Chance with a brow slightly raised. "Dorothy and Toto." She repeated, and then reached up to lightly twist some of Chance's curls speculatively. "Well...there is some resemblance with the movie." His hair and the dog's coat, that was. She dropped her hand and looked back at Cameron. "There is an Emerald Palace, and there's more than one Wizard...but you're best staying out of the Palace and out of their way. They don't grant any wishes, you only grant their's."

"You're Toto, I'm Dorothy, right?" Chance deadpanned, giving Claude a look before he turned back to Cameron, a smirk twisting his lips upwards. "Well, at any rate, I'm glad you find that our company is at least good to look at, the two of us do try to be good company for those in need of some eye candy. Claude here is a Twizzler, I'm a Sour Patch."
The amusement was heavy in his voice, but not mocking. Chance felt fingers in his hair as Claude tugged on one of his curls, and smiled benignly at the two of them.
"Yeah, 'fraid you don't want to meet the wizards," he said. "It's better to deal with us lowly peons instead, we're more interesting."nyxtsuki moon i have no idea what this tag is

"Dorothy is reserved for the lady, wouldn't she look fetching in a blue plaid dress? I'm sure you fit in her hand basket." He grinned now at Chance. It seemed, by the note of the two, the leaders or leader of this little band was not someone to trust or trifle with.
Shame.
"Fascinating." He added, he started to walk around, mostly to get his legs moving and to look at the other pods as they spoke. Whenever they led him away, then he would pay more attention.
"So many of them." He stared at the other sleeping pods and frowned. Eerie, how they just slept there, waiting, waiting to be awakened.
He shuddered to think of himself in there.
"I am in your hands then Dorothy and Toto."

It was one of the few rare times Claude actually sported a smug look. It was small, but it was there, and it was shot at Chance. See you're Toto. She then planted a hand on top of his curly head. "It's the hair." She informed him, and then ruffled his mess of curls before she dropped her hand again. "Fetching in a blue plaid dress..." She mused, and quirked a brow at Cameron. "I hope you aren't imagining the pig tails too...because then I'd be concerned." She gave a slow shake of her head and clucked her tongue before she stared at Cameron again. Then she slowly turned to look at Chance. "Does he think this is the Ritz-Carlton?" She mused. She then tilted her head back towards the way to the Cove. "Alright. Shall we, Toto?" She tapped Chance's elbow with a small smirk to indicate she was about to move, and then started to make her way towards the Cove. "Come along, Tin Man." That was for Cameron.

He would have stuck out his tongue at Claude, but that would have been immature, so Chance refrained. He did, however, give her a smirk, batting her hand away from his curls.
"Are you saying I wouldn't look fetching in a blue plaid dress?" he asked Cameron innocently, and glanced down at himself, Chance giving a hum of thought as though actually considering the idea. "I think I have the figure for it to be able to pull it off..."
It was unclear as to whether or not he was joking or being entirely serious. Chance's eyes went back to Cameron as Claude tapped his arm.
"Depends on we're doing with those hands," he said mildly, eyes glittering with amusement. "But let's go, Tin Man - " Clearly the nickname had stuck already. " - your merry yellow brick road awaits you."

"I do not, and have been to much better establishments then the ritz-carlton. This is medicore and really odd. You can assume that I am out of my element here." Cameron replied dryly. "I was more of a long braid down your very long back Claude.." And it was hard not to reach over and let a finger run down that spine of hers. She was tall, which meant long. He liked Long pretty things.
Chance was no exception either, and though Cameron had thoughts of the two, he was in the middle of business and business was only mixed with pleasure when you knew the sort of ground you were standing on. So far, his was rocky and mixed.
"Tin Man." Accurate, how quickly he felt himself being enfolded with the two. Fate? He scoffed. "You can look for my heart if you'd like Chance, I'd start at the bottom though and work your way up." Cameron smirked, crossing his arms again and following the two to said yellow brick road.
"As to the conversation of blue plaid dresses, I think it would suit better unworn." He adjusted his glasses again, "And on the floor of bedrooms."

"You'd look fetching in a blue plaid dress, Chance." Claude informed him with as much certainty as one says about the sun rising each and every day. She was a good friend. While walking, the feeling of the finger running down her back did not go unnoticed, and in response there was the faint hint of a pleasant shiver. Claude glanced over her shoulder at him, and her lips quirked up briefly before she looked forward again. This guy was something else. Making equal passes at the both of them. She remained silent until they reached their destination, at which she stopped off to the side, and gestured to the entrance to the cove. "You're on your own now."

"Yes, thank you Claude," said Chance grandly, giving her a smile. "I appreciate your faith in my ability to wear dresses. I like to think I have the legs to wear them, but it's hard to find something cute in my size."
It was said with the same kind of certainty as Claude's original comment had, and also entirely unclear as to whether or not he was actually being serious or if he was just messing with the new recruit.
(Probably a mixture of both.)
Chance's eyes slid sideways to give Cameron an amused, appraising sort of look.
"My my, aren't we confident," he said mildly, and shrugged one shoulder. "Well, if ever you wonder how that would look, I'm in Room 196, and I usually just keep the door unlocked. Feel free to stop by anytime, though I don't actually have any blue plaid dresses, sorry. I might have a black lace one, though..."
He trailed off in a thoughtful - or maybe it was teasing - sort of way who knew.

Cameron found himself marking Dorothy and Toto here to be now his two favorite people. As they were only the first people to meet, the sarcastic wit of the two was amusing.
"A strong confidence leads to a healthy successful life." Both his hands fell and he patted both of the sun hunters bottoms. "For good luck if you don't mind." He added before heading off. "Room 196. I've got it." And he looked to Claude. "Don't worry Dorothy, I know where to find you too."
he paused, "Black lace would compliment the hair Chance, I'll keep that in mind." He adjusted his glasses one last time before descending down.
